Yes, just in order to have the most time to do and try in your life. To have balance in life between work (business), personal life. To have more free time to communicate with your family, to achieve your goals, fulfill your desires. To make your dreams come true.

It struck me that there were so few financial goals on this list. The first places are occupied by goals about travel, self-development, love and happiness.. It's great that everything in the world more people stopped listening to stupid advice at trainings on personal growth that supposedly, without exception, people should set themselves inflated requirements and goals, achieve them in order to become very rich. It seems to me that such recommendations cause anxiety and do not bring happiness.

2. Why do we need goals in a person's life (examples) and how can they change life?

There is, I would say, some kind of mysticism in this issue. Do you know what unites successful people who became happy because they have been doing what they love all their lives? They are united by a common quality inherent in all of them - purposefulness and an irresistible desire to achieve their dreams or goals. All of them very early, even in childhood or adolescence, set before themselves and write down a list of goals and did everything to achieve them.

An example is the life of John Goddard, a Guinness World Record holder, explorer and traveler, an outstanding anthropologist, holder of scientific degrees in anthropology and philosophy.

But do not be embarrassed and compare yourself with this hero. Such people are the exception rather than the rule. It’s just that the example of John Goddard especially clearly shows how written down goals help to live more interestingly and vividly.

How many goals should a person have? The more you write them on your list, the easier it will be for you to find your innermost desires and dreams, make them come true and become happy.

3. Which goals are more important, financial goals or goals of spiritual and personal growth?

This question is very similar to the question "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?". Now I will explain why. Materialists will say that if you have money, you can easily fulfill all your dreams and goals. For example, start traveling the world. To buy a house. Learn languages. Therefore, first you need to fulfill financial goals - find a new job, build your own business, and the like.

For information: who are the Materialists and Idealists. Materialists believe that matter is primary and gave rise to consciousness. Idealists, on the contrary, that consciousness is primary and it created matter. This contradiction is called by many the main question of philosophy.

But my grandmother always told me (without knowing it herself, she belonged to the Idealists) that if God is in the 1st place, then everything else will be added and will be in their places. She said: "Don't wait financial well-being to give birth to a child. Because if God gives a child, He will give a child!”

Using logic, prudence, pragmatism, it is difficult to understand this grandmother's principle and even more difficult to apply in life. Because it is difficult, impossible to explain it from a scientific, materialistic point of view.

But sayings and proverbs (I call them the quintessence of the centuries-old experience of our ancestors) seem to be trying to convey to us the knowledge and wisdom of previous generations.

This wisdom is based not on logic and pragmatism, but on observations of the connection between actions and events, both in the life of one person and entire generations:

  • Man proposes, but God disposes (Russian proverb)
  • Easy come easy go English proverb"What is easily acquired is easily lost"
  • What happens, happens in time (Chinese proverb "Accidents are not accidental")

List of proverbs different peoples can be continued ad infinitum. But how can even these three proverbs of different peoples be explained from the point of view of logic and materialism?

Based on these considerations and being an idealist, I made goals for myself in the following sequence: Spiritual improvement –> Personal growth and relationships –> Physical health –> Financial goals.

37. Every evening - a quick walk

38. Refuse harmful products completely

39. Once a month - 3-day hunger strike

40. Lose 3 kg

50. Swap a petrol car for an electric car

51. Build the work of your projects in such a way as to receive passive income

52. Learn how to save, open a savings account and top up monthly

Of course, you can write all your goals in any order. In fact, that's how they should be written. I divided them into 4 groups to make it clear that in life it is necessary to maintain a balance between the goals of Business and Finance, Relationships, Health, Spirituality. In general, I always write all the affairs, goals, dreams in a row. Below in section 4 “How do I list my goals?” I will talk about it in detail.

I've included my goals as an example. Everyone is different and changes over time. For example, there are no parenting goals on my list. This is because they have already been fulfilled - our children have grown up and live independently.

4. How do you list your goals? 50 goals in a person's life list in present tense

Working in large banks, on large IT projects, I took a lot of interesting trainings in psychology, motivation, stress management, time management, emotional intelligence, personal growth. In these trainings we were taught the techniques of setting goals and intermediate tasks to achieve them.

But I especially liked this simple and effective technique:
  • You need to mentally “turn off your consciousness” and, without hesitation, start writing by hand on clean slate paper all your desires, goals, tasks - large and small.
  • It is necessary to write as much as possible, the main thing is “not to turn on the brain” and not to stop.
  • Write “today’s” problems, for example, “so that the son passes the test” or “take the trash out of the garage” or “buy for the new year live Christmas tree in a pot." And global, for example, "so that children choose professions to their liking", "so that they successfully graduate from universities."
  • Then break down your goals into short, medium and long term. Also highlight the goals themselves and what can be called tasks to achieve these goals.

By the way, I often met this idea in the books of successful people, but did not attach any importance to it. They all say that it is important to write down desires and goals, and this helps in some incomprehensible way to fulfill them.

If you are thinking about goals, then you will probably also be interested in this useful article. It will help you look at personal finance goals in a different way. After reading the article, you will understand how easy it is to secure a decent “pension” for yourself, without even waiting retirement age! Be sure to pass on this simple but valuable knowledge to your children, because in our schools it is not customary to teach personal finance issues.

5. How to fulfill the goals, slowly and in the joy of yourself and your loved ones?

We know that all people are different. They have different psychotypes, abilities, charisma, efficiency, intuition. Therefore, everyone lives, creates, realize their dreams and goals DIFFERENTLY, based on their abilities and character.

Consider small example. I will now describe the “portrait” of my successful friend:

  • He is an optimist, it helps him a lot in business.
  • He has good abilities, but he is lazy.
  • At some moments, when you need to get together, do something important - laziness recedes and he becomes assertive and purposeful.
  • He is also a very spontaneous person. If he lights up with some idea, then he instantly embodies it, without arguing. Because of this, there are often losses, but in general the job is done quickly.
  • He often relies on intuition and if something "doesn't work", he easily puts it off, knowing that in "the time" it will be done easily.
  • He does a lot of things absolutely disinterestedly, helping people.

Now you can roughly imagine (based on this characteristic) how my friend achieves his goals: sometimes lazily, sometimes impulsively, sometimes assertively and purposefully, sometimes relying on intuition. But he never goes against his nature, character, his moral principles. And this is the secret of his success.

Do you understand what I'm getting at? I want to say that we are all different and what you definitely should not do in order to achieve your goals is not to break yourself. No need to drive yourself into a state of stress, no need to reproach yourself for sluggishness. And never go against the dictates of your heart and do not do what you do not like just because everyone has such a goal on the list.

For example, I don't like playing sports in gym. Let everyone go, but I won’t, because I tried several times and made sure that it doesn’t bring me pleasure, and therefore no benefit

Do not listen to anyone that you need to devote so much time to your goal every day that you need to schedule everything by day and hour. In this case, you will become a slave to your ambitions. You need your goals in order to live interestingly, to love, to be a happy person, to do what you love.

Live slowly, enjoy life, refuse to rush at home, at work and in relationships with all people. To this the idea of slow life Many progressive people from many countries have already come. And stop blaming your children for sluggishness the way your parents reproached you (I recommend an article on how to raise children happy and unleash their intellectual and creative potential :). Since we are talking about children, I also recommend that you read an article about progressive and about, which will be in demand in 10 or more years.

Conclusion: In order to start living more interestingly, without delay, sit back now and write, without hesitation, as many small and big things as possible, goals, tasks and desires.

And then, if the mood appears, you can divide them into financial, personal and others. For big and small. But I will tell you that I always write down my life goals, desires and dreams in a row. And I shared them today for the 1st time only for this article, so that it becomes clear what goals are.

Do you like this approach? No boredom! I love this new positive approach to life - do everything with joy, the way your heart tells you!

Finally, I propose to watch a wonderful video describing the ingenious and easy way, how to joyfully and at the same time effectively achieve results in 4 directions of life goals. I loved the idea of setting small goals on the way to big ones and celebrating the accomplishments of each one! At the same time, cover all 4 areas of your life and set at the beginning only one goal. I take this cool idea into service!

I wish you all inspiration and self-confidence!

See you soon!

DEVELOPMENT OF GOALS. The first stage, goal setting, follows the outline of our discussion of the planning process. After top management has developed long-term and short-term goals for the organization and for themselves, these goals are formulated for employees at the next level in descending order along the chain of command. The previously cited authors, Drucker and McGregor, strongly believed that subordinate leaders should take an active part in setting their own goals, basing them on those of their superiors. It could be

By convention, there are two types of goals in terms of how long it takes to achieve them. These are long term and short term goals. In principle, the division of goals into these two types is based on the time period associated with the duration of the production cycle. The goals that are expected to be achieved by the end of the production cycle are long-term goals. From this it follows that in various industries there should be different time frames for short term and long term goals. However, in practice, short-term goals are usually considered to be achieved within one year, and, accordingly, long-term goals are achieved in two to three years.

The division into long-term and short-term goals is of fundamental importance, since these goals differ significantly in content. Short-term goals are characterized by much more than long-term ones, concretization and detailing in such matters as who, what and when should be performed. If the need arises, intermediate goals are also set between long-term and short-term goals, which are called medium-term.

The solution of the tasks set is impossible without the organization of the strategic level of management. Joint-stock enterprises must now perform the key management function themselves, to form long-term and short-term goals for themselves and determine their strategy. Today, the application of strategic management methods has become a vital condition for joint-stock companies for their existence and development.

Finding the optimal balance between long-term and short-term goals of enterprise development and decisions made in long-term and short-term financial management.

According to the time period of action, long-term (more than a year) and short-term (less than one year) goals are distinguished. Long-term goals show managers what action can be taken in this moment in order to achieve the intended long-term outcome, and encourage them to assess the impact of today's decisions on the long-term outcome. The advantage of short-term goals is the detailing of immediate immediate results that need to be achieved; determining the speed of the organization along the previously designated path; specifying on the path to achieving the final designated result (i.e., long-term goals). Sometimes intermediate medium-term goals are set between long-term and short-term goals.

Everyone in the organization must have a clear idea of what is expected of them. Each member of the organization - and an ordinary employee, and a supervisor, and a manager, and an administrator - must clearly understand what his work is aimed at and how it relates to the long-term and short-term goals of the organization. The goals set, the procedure for the execution of work, work assignments and job descriptions must be formally developed, recorded on paper and agreed between those who issue these assignments and those who receive them. People need to know what is expected of them. This is a paradigm of open-closed organization, and you will inevitably have to indulge in all sorts of tricks to smooth out the contradictions that arise. If there is no clear connection between the stated goals and the tasks issued, this indicates the limitations of the model and may interfere with the manifestation creativity and efficient performance. If you have not been able to state these tasks accurately and exhaustively, then their purpose - to help solve the problems of the organization - will remain unfulfilled. Opportunities to improve work processes through outreach should be constantly and comprehensively assessed (see paragraph 23 and chapter 18 below). Any goals and forecasts should be evaluated taking into account the level of competence of both the employee issuing the order and the executor accepting it. Then, decisions can be made regarding the degree of detail of the declared goals and the intensity of the planned processes.

It is advisable to single out long-term and short-term goals and the corresponding criteria for the economic development of the region. Among the long-term goals, the formation and development of a post-industrial society, the creation of highly qualified jobs for future generations, and an increase in the standard of living of the population, including the level of health care, education and culture, are usually singled out. As short-term goals, one can consider overcoming the crisis and achieving specific goals.

Formulate long-term and short-term goals for the plant.

The mission (main idea) and entrepreneurial philosophy are necessary to establish the strategic goals of the corporation, as well as to win the trust of consumers and other contact groups, to avoid conflicts of their interests. The mission is a vision of what a joint-stock company should be like in the future, a system of goals (long-term and short-term goals), desired results that correspond to the understanding of the goal. It is clear that the global prerequisite for the successful development of a management strategy at any level is the correct definition of goals. Determination of goals

Chapter 9 deals with product planning and marketing. She talks about the importance of planning, the difference between strategic and operational planning, the vision and mission as the starting point of a planning strategy, and setting long-term and short-term goals.

A joint-stock energy company, as a commercial organization, with all the variety of its goals, naturally strives to make a profit and maximize it. It can do this by increasing energy tariffs (if it has such opportunities under the conditions of competition or state regulation) or by increasing the efficiency of its work. Without making a profit, it is impossible to attract investors, to carry out the development of production. However, such a criterion can seriously threaten the competitiveness of the energy company in the future, if innovative projects, designed for a long-term effect, have to be abandoned. This circumstance - an objective contradiction between long-term and short-term goals - is always relevant, especially for the Russian economy in the conditions of the most urgent need to modernize the production apparatus.

Relationship between long-term and short-term goals. Organizations need both long-term and short-term goals. Long-term goals do two things. First, setting targets for five years or more forces executives to take action now to achieve long-term goals later (a company that plans to double its sales within five years cannot expect that in the third or fourth year of its five-year strategic plan will begin to grow sales and consumer base). Second, having clear long-term goals requires leaders to evaluate the impact of their decisions today on long-term performance. Without constant pressure to move forward in order to achieve long-term goals, human nature will always make decisions based on what is most expedient at a given time, and worries about the future will be postponed until later. The problem with myopic decisions is that they seriously threaten a company's long-term position.

According to the established opinion, there are two types of goals, depending on what period of time is required to achieve them. These are long term and short term goals. Basically, the separation

Many companies focus too much on short-term financial performance, which negatively impacts their international competitiveness and frustrates employees, consumers and other interest groups. Successfully doing business companies realize that their survival depends on the optimal combination of long-term and short-term goals, balancing the interests of shareholders, employees and other interested groups. Ultimately, a firm's competitiveness depends on its ability to meet customer needs better than its competitors. Victory over rivals is determined by the ability of management to create and maintain a general attitude to victory in the company, perseverance in the implementation of the strategy, as well as the development of core competencies or the skills and abilities to create products that are superior to those of competitors. The top management of the company encourages employees to do everything in their power to achieve a common goal, and is also responsible for developing strategy, developing organizational structures and systems that provide these abilities.

Long-term and short-term goals

The division of goals into short-term and long-term is of fundamental importance, since these goals differ significantly in content for short-term goals, intermediate goals are set for short-term goals - medium-term.

The classification according to the time for which the goals are set usually includes long-term and short-term goals, . Such a division of goals is of fundamental importance, since these goals differ significantly in content. Short-term goals necessarily have specific content and clearly defined temporal and quantitative boundaries. Short-term goals are more specific and detailed than long-term ones. Sometimes intermediate goals are set between long-term and short-term goals, they are called medium-term.

Achieving long-term and short-term goals, the need to improve competitiveness and organizational change require reliance on a well-planned and well-defined organized work on training and advanced training of personnel . At the same time, the matter should not be limited to the transfer of certain knowledge to employees and the development of the necessary skills in them. In the course of training, employees can be provided with information about the current state of affairs and about the prospects for the development of the enterprise.

QMS as a springboard for the implementation of long-term and short-term goals of public relations structures. QMS as a means of realizing the rights and obligations of organizations engaged in public relations to society. Possibilities of the QMS to create a favorable image of the organization as a sphere of labor resources.

After analyzing the external and internal environment, the mission and goals of the enterprise are developed. Mission is a business concept, which briefly outlines the main purpose of the enterprise for a fairly long term of its existence. It should be simply and clearly formulated in order to be understandable to both your employees and consumers. The mission can change in accordance with the requirements of the market, as it primarily involves meeting the needs of consumers. After

They are essential attributes of a successful person. The more clearly we imagine what we want to achieve in the future, the better. So there is more chance not to miss the opportunities that life is known to be rich in. When an individual actually works on himself, he has additional features. This is where even the most small parts because they are the whole picture. What are short term goals? How to properly formulate and achieve them? Let's consider in more detail.

Concept definition

It is very important to understand correctly what is actually at stake. To achieve success in life, you must learn to distinguish between long-term and short-term prospects. Short-term goals are those desires and aspirations that the individual hopes to achieve in two to six months. Sometimes you can meet tasks scheduled for a year, but they can be completed earlier. The main difference is that a person must see in his head the realization of his dreams.

In the most general case, you need to clearly understand why you need to achieve a particular goal. The set goals come true much faster than those that we just carry in our heads, but do not write down on paper. As a rule, they help to come to more global aspirations. See below for examples of short-term goals.

Desired income

This paragraph perfectly illustrates an example of goals that a person sets for himself and plans to achieve in the near future. If in the long run an individual wants to get rich and receive millions of fees, then initial stage You need to at least double your income. All kinds of short-term goals in one way or another affect those that we set ourselves for many years to come. Indeed, in order to reach the expected result in a few years, it is necessary to take certain steps every day in the direction of the desired. Short-term goals may be to increase your monthly income.

Most people will definitely include this item in their advanced planning. Having a clear idea of how much money you want to receive will help organize yourself in the right direction.

Shopping

What joys of life can do without shopping! In the near future, be sure to indicate the things that you are going to purchase. It is necessary to think over everything well in order to be able to control the process of progress towards the task. If you let the situation take its course, you can very soon be disappointed in yourself and lose faith in the existing internal forces. When we can afford the purchases we want, it is incredibly encouraging, instilling confidence in our own prospects. Each of us has a list of desires that we need to learn how to manage. It is imperative to please yourself with those purchases that bring pleasure. Denying yourself everything, you can lose inspiration.

Health category

It, too, cannot be ignored, since well-being in general depends on our physical condition. We should not forget about our own health. It is necessary to include intentions to maintain your physical well-being in the list of goals in time. If young people can not bother themselves much with this, then older people are more concerned about this issue.

Travels

It is also recommended to plan your trips to nature or vacation in advance. If this is not done, then later you will have to frantically look for a suitable case. Some people love spontaneous travel, but they are only good when the individual has enough large quantity free time. When things take most days, invariably something has to be sacrificed. It is extremely important that there are always free cash.

Only then will a person feel truly happy and self-sufficient. The set goals should motivate you to new achievements. As a rule, if an individual has some kind of dream, he strives to achieve it with all his might. Here, even the obstacles that arise cease to play a certain role.

Clear wording

Setting and achieving goals is a whole science, which often takes a lifetime to learn. The clearer the intention, the better. This is how we create a clear idea in our head of what we need. Without this vision, it is hardly possible to start new project. We must be fully aware of what we are striving for. Try to write down your goals in a notebook. If you just carry them in your head, then most likely they will remain only dreams.

It is best when a person has a very specific idea of what he wants to achieve. Such a desire will not be lost with time, will not fade away under the influence of numerous difficulties.

Measurable and reachable

Very important characteristics, without which it is impossible to go towards your desires. Short-term goals in life and at work help not to give up, not to give in to difficulties when they begin to manifest themselves especially clearly. A person should always have the opportunity to measure his desires, bring them to a certain date. If you know that you have to save a certain amount by June, then most likely you will be able to do it. You should not make sky-high desires. In any case, they must somehow relate to our real situation.

Of course, it is worth dreaming about more, but the growth of victories should be carried out gradually. Otherwise, you may be bitterly disappointed. You need to give yourself time to get used to winning. They should become an integral part of life, and not some kind of miracle. We must understand that we will be able to achieve the stated result. Any person wants to get what they want, especially when they make significant efforts every day to make their dreams come true.

positive character

All goals related to your immediate future must be formulated in a positive way. A positive attitude already at the stage of indicating your desires helps to find inspiration. If you have a habit of constantly scrolling negative impressions in your head, urgently change your approach to life.

It is necessary to learn to see the positive aspects of what is happening, even if it is still difficult for you to believe that what you want will actually come into your life. With a positive mindset, anything can be achieved, as there will be no factors that can hold you back and limit you unduly.

present tense

All intentions must be formulated as if changes are already happening to you right now. By writing down your goals in the present tense, you move closer to achieving them. It just seems that nothing depends on our desires. When difficulties drag on, the individual gets used to thinking, to perceive any information in a negative light. Only a formulation in the present tense can bring us closer to what we want. It is necessary, if possible, to reread the written goals every day and, of course, to believe that they will certainly be fulfilled. Trust the Universe, and then it will pleasantly surprise you.

Necessary steps

No matter how great your intentions, it is important to start moving in the direction you want in advance. After all, the result will not arise from nothing, by itself, if you do not make very specific efforts. Having decided on your tasks, you need to start as soon as possible new life. A new goal will lead you forward, inspire you to great things. It's wonderful when a person begins to really believe in the available prospects. Only then does he have the opportunity to achieve any result, wings grow behind his back, a desire to act arises. A burst of enthusiasm fresh ideas - good sign. All these manifestations indicate that a person has taken responsibility for what happens to him. He will definitely achieve the desired result, because he does not doubt the correctness decision. The readiness to act, despite the obstacles that arise, is actually worth a lot.

Thus, short-term goals must be formulated in a timely manner and written down in a notebook. If you just keep them in your head, they will not be fulfilled soon. It is recommended to start taking the necessary steps as soon as possible so as not to miss the time. Concentration a large number positive energy will help you get closer to your cherished dream.

Each person has their own the main objective in the life he aspires to. Or even multiple targets. Throughout life, they can change: losing their importance, some are removed, and in their place others, more relevant, appear. How many of these goals should there be?

Successful people claim that 50 human life goals is not the maximum at all. The longer the list of your goals, the better you will be able to understand your true desires.

For example, at the age of fifteen, John Goddard set himself not even 50 vital, main goals that he sought to achieve, but 127! For the uninitiated, reference: we are talking about a researcher, anthropologist, traveler, holder of scientific degrees, Member of the Society of French Explorers, Royal Geographic Society and the Archaeological Society, multiple record holder of the Guinness Book of Records.

On his 50th birthday, John noted that he achieved 100 of the 127 goals he set. His rich life can only envy.

Goals in order not to be ashamed and hurt

A happy person is called accomplished, successful. No one will call a loser happy - success is a component of happiness. Almost everyone remembers the famous phrase of Ostrovsky from “How to become tempered” about how you need to live your life. The end of the quote is especially bright: “So that it would not be excruciatingly painful ...” So that at the end of life it would not hurt and be ashamed of the aimlessly lived time, you need to set tasks for yourself today.

To consider life successful, a person must achieve the 50 most important life goals by old age. Summing up the results of his life, a person compares what he dreamed of with what he achieved. But it happens that over the years it is difficult to remember many of your desires-goals, so it is difficult to make comparisons. That is why it is so important to write down the 50 most important goals in life on a piece of paper, periodically re-read the list.

Another important aspect - try to write down. This means that your goals must be in line with the five important criteria: specificity, measurability, relevance, achievability, limited time.

human needs

Before making a list, you should understand what is a priority, vital for a person. Air, drink, food, sleep are the 4 most important needs of organic life. The second row is health, housing, clothing, sex, rest - necessary attributes of life, but secondary. Unlike animals, a person is characterized not only by the elementary satisfaction of vital needs, he wants to do this, receiving aesthetic pleasure.

It is impossible for a person to live without satisfaction of primary needs, and without satisfaction of secondary needs it is difficult. Therefore, if at least one link in this chain is destroyed, a person suffers physically - firstly, morally - secondly. He is unhappy. But even if all the vital needs of the individual are satisfied, his life cannot be called happy. Here is such a paradox.

Therefore, the 50 vital, priority goals of a person must necessarily include items, thanks to the implementation of which the primary and secondary needs of a person would be satisfied.

Listing such goals as “buy your own house” or “relax on the sea”, “do the necessary medical operation” or “cure and insert teeth”, “buy a fur coat” and “buy a car” may not be so important for complete happiness ( why - will be discussed below), but achieving them makes living on earth more comfortable for people. To meet these needs, to achieve the goals listed above, an individual needs money. And, selecting the 50 most important goals of a person, it is imperative to include an item on the list regarding financial condition individual. Examples of such goals:

  • find a high-paying job;
  • open your business;
  • to achieve that the business brings a net income of more than $ 10,000 per month, and the like.

Demand as the main component of happiness

In addition, for the full happiness of the individual, something else is necessary. And that "something" is called recognition. Only being in demand, a person feels his significance, feels pleasure, happiness. Each person has their own criteria for recognition. For some, a simple “thank you” for the prepared dinner is enough. Others feel a sense of complete happiness from the manifestations of tenderness of a sexual partner - this is a recognition, a highlight of the individual among all others.

For some, it is enough to bring sterile cleanliness in the house and hear words of admiration from neighbors, others need to see delight in the eyes of those they meet at the sight of their appearance, figure, outfits, hairstyles. For the third, it is important to recognize them as excellent parents. For the fourth, recognition at a wider level is necessary. These fourths do not limit the circle of people they want to be recognized by, relatives, loved ones, neighbors, fellow travelers, passers-by.

These are scientists, discoverers, big businessmen, people of creative and a number of other professions. The most successful are people who receive recognition both from their loved ones, friends, children, neighbors, and from colleagues, fans, viewers, readers - a wider range of people. It is important to add the appropriate items to the list of "50 goals in my life." Examples of such goals might be:

  • find your soul mate to create a family, which (who) will be such and such, for whom I will have respect, love (passion), feelings should be reciprocal;
  • help your son finish school successfully;
  • give children higher education;
  • defend a thesis;
  • release your own collection of stories (a CD of songs) or organize an exhibition of paintings.

intermediate goals

To achieve global goals, actions are needed to help move forward. Therefore, it is necessary to write intermediate goals related to advanced training, education, and the acquisition of skills. And in the list of "50 human life goals" examples of such can be:

  • read the collected works of Dostoevsky;
  • reading manuals for a businessman authored by John Rockefeller (for example, "" success;
  • study of life stories and paths to success of major figures of science and culture;
  • studying of foreign language;
  • obtaining a second education.

This list can be continued at your own discretion, based on the main goals.

Goals-motivators

In order to achieve the main goals, incentives are needed that occupy the position of intermediate goals. They are included in the list, designating; "50 Intermediate Human Life Goals". These goals include:

  • go on a trip around the world;
  • buy a new laptop;
  • make repairs in the apartment;
  • Refresh your wardrobe for the new season.

Some may write the items "do a facelift" or "do a tummy tuck". After all, for many, improving their appearance is a hidden desire, which they are sometimes ashamed of. But when compiling a list of motivating goals, you must definitely write those that will give a person pleasure in life. These goals do not have important vital needs, but without joy and pleasure a person withers, he is bored with life, the meaning of achieving the main goals is lost.

Long term goals- clear, simple, measurable provisions containing a description of the results that the company seeks to achieve in a period of up to 5 years. When an analysis of long-term goals and a strategic plan is made, the personnel working in the company form for themselves a general idea of in which direction production will develop. But the planning process does not end there. Next, you need to decide what exactly the company will do this year.

Short-term goals - play an additional role in the process of setting goals and drawing up a plan. These goals define what needs to be done immediately to establish a match between short-term results and long-term prospects, as well as provide a basis for monitoring and controlling the implementation of strategic decisions made earlier in the planning process by the company's managers.

Thus, the final phase of planning, in which goals, again, play a significant role, requires the manager to define specific, short-term tasks that represent an intermediate stage in the strategic plan, as well as draw up plans for individual links in his organization. It is clear that goals play an important role in planning. They emphasize what specifically each employee needs to know. Moreover, the presence of goals on the most different levels production creates a hierarchy of goals that correlates with the relevant elements of the organization's structure and the various phases of the planning process. Goals form the basis for the plan, on the one hand, and are a guide to action for management, on the other.

For many, the planning process seems abstract or simply not worth considering at all, since everything that takes place in the plan is probable and may not take place in reality. But when the focus is on the goal, everything described in the plan takes on a clear meaning, in particular, what will be done, when and by whom. In this case, the goals perform a central, organizing function, making the planning process real and meaningful. For goals to fully fulfill this function, they must be clear and have the potential to be effective. Setting effective goals requires knowledge of some issues. Firstly, the manager needs to know what are the main points to be considered in his plan . Secondly, he must be aware of the main elements that increase the value and effectiveness of the goals. AND, third, you need to remember the five basic principles of setting and achieving goals. These three aspects will be discussed in detail below. The first one deals with the question of: What are the main points to be considered in the plan?

Common goals

In order to manage the efforts and activities of the organization as a whole, each manager must have an understanding of the overall goals associated with the fundamental reasons for the formation of the company.

We have already briefly mentioned the three main elements that must be contained in the goal in order for it to be effective, these are - common task, meaning, mission of the firm.

organizational goals. The goals of an organization can be defined as the main reason for its existence. This definition usually follows from the context of the specific situation in which the firm operates. The main goal of large organizations such as IBM and McDonald's is to keep profits at a high level. educational establishments exist for the purpose of development scientific research and preparation of a highly intelligent young shift. The government fulfills the goals of ensuring national security, internal order and social protection. The purpose of the hospital is to restore people's health.

In setting the overall goal, which reflects the main reason for the creation of the company, the manager usually focuses on the circle of stakeholders chosen by him, for whom, in fact, the business was created. As a rule, they include consumers, employees, public organizations within the firm and the owners of the firm. The main economic categories that are mentioned in the goals are survival in existing conditions and profitability growth.

While organizational goals carry a very large semantic load, they are still not a central element in the system of general goals. Therefore, it is worth moving on to the next type of goals, which focuses on areas in which the firm will make special efforts. This type of goals was called above the mission of the organization.

Mission of the organization is an element of the overall goal that distinguishes this organization from others and indicates the scope of its activities, product type and market type. A well-developed firm's mission statement should be clearly and consistently aligned with the organization's structure and specific goals. Since the proposed lines of action are formed in accordance with organizational goals, the manager chooses the way in which these goals will be achieved. This path is the mission.

Experienced managers usually pay attention to three main elements in mission development:

1. The main product (service) produced by the company.

2. The main market for the sale of goods (services).

3. Technological production system.

Each of these three elements is indispensable, since only their combination makes up a complete picture of the company's activities.

The value (image) of the organization. Recently, managers of various firms quite often have to do special work with their employees to explain the meaning of this production and its benefits to society as a whole. The value of the organization is a philosophical and ethical category, externally and internally consistent with the goals and mission of the company. In the process of confirming the importance of their production, the company's top managers are trying to acquaint the widest possible range of consumers with their products. At the same time, similar work is carried out within the organization, only in this case the significance of the company is explained through the goals facing it.

Leaders often view the value (value) of their organization as part of their purpose and mission.

To increase the public image of the company, there are three most simple recommendations.

1. Every employee should feel the importance of what he does.

2. The manager must take into account the reaction of society, which will confirm or refute the management's opinion about how important the firm's contribution to social production is.

3. All actions of managers should be oriented towards increasing the role of the firm in social work and community programs.

Long-term and short-term goals

General goals that determine the main direction of development of production, suggest an appropriate style of management and decision-making throughout life path firms. But this is far from enough to manage companies. It needs to set more specific, as well as specific tasks for all divisions and departments. First of all, it is necessary to develop goals for a period of up to 5 years. These goals are called long-term goals. They are designed both for the company as a whole and for its structural units. In addition, they are the basis for corporate coordination and a benchmark for determining the degree of success in the company's actions.
