Foreword

Alarm systems of the Vista-50 series by Ademco were among the first to appear on the domestic market of foreign technical means of security alarms. High operational reliability and wide functionality, subject to their rational and competent use, are combined in systems with good design and able to meet the needs of most owners. For more than 7 years, Vista-501V has been produced by CJSC MZEP-OKHRANA. Based on the experience of practical operation, this manual systematizes information about the purpose and capabilities of the Vista-501V system, its technical means, and suggests programming methods for individual devices and the system as a whole.

The guide consists of two parts. The first part deals with the issues of installation, configuration and installation programming of the system hardware. The range of technical means considered in the manual is determined on the basis of the “List ...” of devices permitted for use at facilities guarded by private security units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The second part of the manual deals with the programming of the Vista-501V alarm system.

1.1. General information
about the system
"Vista-501V"

The Vista-501V system (hereinafter referred to as the system) can effectively use
use at such facilities as a bank branch, a small structure
industrial or commercial enterprise, a building with

system capabilities:

    Three types of signaling are provided: security, alarm and
    fire department;

    Up to 75 users are simultaneously served with their own
    remote access codes;

    Provides documentation of 224 events that have occurred and

System Structure

Structural diagram of the security and fire system "Vista-501V" is shown in fig. 1.1.

IN block diagram it is possible to single out the main block - the control
panel, which is functionally analogous to the control panel
device. All hardware connected to the control panel
systems:

    Radial (wired) alarm loops;

    Two-wire communication line for connecting addressable
    switches and devices;

    Four-wire communication line for connecting control panels

    Serial interface module for printing messages
    or connection with a computer;

    External sounder.

General information about system programming

The main element of the control panel is the microprocessor.
The work of the microprocessor is under the control of programs, finding--
stored in system memory. The system memory consists of two parts: permanent
memory device (ROM) and reprogrammable memory
device (PROM). The information in the ROM is written to the factory
de-manufacturer and during the operation of the system can only read from the ROM
to be. In PROM, information can be repeatedly written and erased.

Programming can be done in various ways:

    With the help of an alphanumeric control panel and software
    61391. This is the most affordable and does not require additional
    equipment method. The disadvantage is the duration and small
    visualization of the programming process.

    With the help of a PC located at the facility and connected to
    panels through the 4100SM module. This method is clear,

3. With the help of a remote PC located outside the facility and connected
connected to the panel via a telephone line. This method requires the use
COMPASS software and telephone modem.

Installation and registration of system hardware

The composition of the used devices of the system depends on the specific
tasks. Installation of technical means includes installation and
device connection. To ensure the operation of any device in
the system requires its registration, which consists in assigning it

meters of this device.

Further in the manual contains material on how to install and register
stratification of the technical means of the system, which have found the widest practice

1.2. Control panel

Generalinformation

The control panel is understood as the central receiving-contact
roll device system. The scope of delivery includes: mounting box

circuit board, power supply unit, backup battery, some types

Enclosure mounting

Main unit connection

On the printed circuit board of the control panel are located:

1. Contacts "RED +" and "BLK-" for connecting a backup battery.

2. Terminal block (30 pcs in one row) for connecting low-

lization, two-wire and four-wire address communication lines, sound-
kovy siren, telephone line and grounding.

3. Two terminal blocks (connectors) J7 and J8 for connection
module 4100SM and external switching devices of the sound signal
lization and management.

Connection order:

1. Having unscrewed the two screws securing the AC power supply board, detached
unite it from the body. Remove the plug in the bottom left corner of the case.
It is advisable to introduce the power cord into the housing through the formed
version using a pipe or a metal hose. For network connection
power supply, connect the power cord to the terminal block on the unit board
power supply according to the diagram in the passport (phase wire - to pin 3).

2. To ensure grounding, connect the ground bar at the site
with pin 30 of the power supply board. Ground connection
it is recommended to make a wire with a copper core diameter of at least
1.3 mm and no more than 9 meters long.

3. Check that the low voltage output of the transformer
was connected to pins 1 and 2 on the printed circuit board, and the common wire block

Installing a backup battery (accumulator)

The backup battery is installed inside the mounting case
roll panel. The battery type is determined by the selected

1.3. Wired control panels

1. Each control panel consumes a certain current (from 40 to
100 mA), so when connecting, you may need an additional

3. The total length of all cables should not exceed 610 meters,
when using unshielded quad cable (or 300 met-

4. If several remote controls are connected to the cable, then
the above maximum lengths must be divided by the number of bullets
