SYSTEM PLANNING WITH PARTITIONING

This chapter provides the following information:
System installation with partitioning.
Common part logic.
Installation and operation of the Master keyboard.

Partitioning theory.
Provides the ability to arm, disarm, and monitor up to 8 separate independent areas, each of which functions as if it had its own control panel. These areas are called sections. Division into sections is used when the user wants to disarm certain areas, and leave the rest on guard, or restrict the access of certain people to certain areas. Each user in the system is allowed to work in several or in all sections, as well as different levels of access are assigned to all.
When working with partitioning, first of all you must understand (define) how many (1-8) partitions are required. This must be done before any data is assigned to partitions.
Keyboards
Each keypad must be assigned its own “address” and it must be assigned to a specific section (or to section 9 if a “Master” keyboard is required).
Zones
Each zone must belong (must be assigned) to one partition.
The zones assigned to a particular partition will appear on the displays of “his” keypads.
Users
Each user must belong (must be assigned) to one or more sections. If a user is to work (have access) in more than one area and needs the ability to arm / disarm all or some of these areas with one command, then he should be assigned the “Global Arming” right ( arming) by entering the user code (access code).
A user who has access to more than one section (multiple access) can “log on” to a certain section from the keyboard of another section, if it is provided that in program field 2 * 18: ENABLE GOTO Jump) Jump to this section from another section is allowed.
A section can be set as "common lobby" and in this case it will arm / disarm automatically, depending on the status of other sections (see below).

Installing a Partitioned System
1. Determine (understand for yourself) how many partitions the system will contain (programmed in field 2 * 00).
2. Assign keypads to partitions (Menu Mode Device Programmer # 93).
3. Assign zones to partitions (Zone Programming Mode Menu # 93).
4. Verify that the corresponding zones appear on the screens of the keypads assigned to those partitions.
5. Assign users to partitions.
6. Enable GOTO capability (program field 2 * 18) for each section in which a multiple access user can be “registered” (keyboard alpha only).
7. Program the Partition-Specific fields (each section has its own meaning) (see chapter 17).

INSTALLING Vista-501 CONTROL PANEL

This chapter provides instructions for installing the following equipment:
Control panel cabinet;
Installing a lock (if used);
Installing the main board;
Standard connection of telephone lines;
Connecting the transformer alternating current;
Installation of a backup battery in the cabinet;
Grounding.

1 User manual for the VISTA-501 control panel With control panels (user keypads) type 6139 and

2 Types of keyboards Determine which keyboard you have. Two types of user keypads (control panels) can be used with the system: "Alpha keyboards" type They have a two-line 32-character text display. "Fixed keypads" type Can display fixed labels and two-digit zone numbers.

3 Keyboard type Use in master keyboard mode. This keyboard can be used as a master keyboard when dividing the system into partitions (areas). In this case, the display shows the status of all sections. SYSTEM STATUS ARN * ARNN SYSTEM STATUS ARN * ARNN The number indicates the partition number, and the letter below it its status. Possible options partition status indication: N Not ready for arming (there are violated zones) S Partition in perimeter armed mode R Ready for arming M Partition in maximum arming mode A Armed (fully armed mode) I Partition in instant armed mode * Alarm / trouble in partition B Bypassed zones / ready to arm To view the status and control a specific section, press the [*] key and then the number of the desired section, for example: [*] + for the first section. After moving to the section, the display will show the status of the section: *** REMOVED *** READY TO ARRIVE *** DISARMED *** READY TO ARM To return to the indication of the status of all sections (go to the master section) press [*] +. Also, if within two minutes none of the keys is pressed, the keyboard will automatically return to the initial display. User codes and powers. To manage the system, you will need to enter personal user codes. Each user can be assigned his own level of authority, as well as determine the sections to which he will have access. The user code is four-digit, i.e. consists of four digits and can be any in the range Each user code in the system has its own sequential two-digit number in the range Levels and user rights: Level User type Authority 1 Master code 2 Manager 3 Operator A 4 Operator B 5 Operator C 6 Duress code Can perform any actions in the assigned sections, and can also add, delete and change codes of managers and operators. Master codes are entered by the installer. Can control the system in designated areas, and can also add, delete and change manager codes. Can control the system in designated areas, but cannot add or delete codes of other users. It can control the system in the assigned areas, but it cannot add or delete codes of other users, and also does not have access to bypassing zones. It can arm the assigned partitions, can disarm the assigned partitions, but only if the arming was carried out with the same code. It can arm / disarm the system while simultaneously sending an alarm message to the monitoring station.

4 Rules for entering and changing user codes and authorizations: A user cannot change or delete a user code of the same or more high level powers than he has. A user can only add user codes with a level of authority lower than that of himself. A user can add a new custom code only for those sections to which he himself has access. You can assign a user authority level or the sections available to him only at the time of creating a new code. If you need to change the permissions of the code, the only way to do this is to delete the code and recreate it. The user code can be changed or deleted only from the section in which it was created. The user code is always entered in two-digit format, users 2-9 are entered as Enter user codes. Before adding a user code on the master keyboard, go to one of the sections that will be assigned to the user by pressing the [*] key and then the number of the desired section. You can exit the mode of adding a user code at any time by pressing the [*] or [#] key. Also, the exit of the code entry mode will occur automatically if you do not press any of the keys for 10 seconds. To enter the code: 1. Enter the master code (or manager code). 2. Enter the two-digit new user number (02-75) 3. Enter the four-digit new user code. After that, the system will sequentially ask a series of questions concerning the new user and his powers. Depending on the system settings, some requests will not be issued. THIS IS NEW. USEFULS? ADD A NEW USER? USER NUMBER = 12 ENTER AUTH. LEVEL OPEN / CLOSE REF.? OPEN / CLOSE REPORT INCLUDE ACCESS GR (0-8) ACESS GROUP? ENTER (0-8) This request will be displayed if a user with this number already exists. "0" - The user code with the given number (entered in step 2) will be replaced with a new one (entered in step 3), the keyboard will display a corresponding message and exit the code entry mode. "1" - A new user will be added, which will be assigned the nearest free number. The keyboard will display the following prompt. Enter the user authority level: 1 Master code (entered only by the installer) 4 Operator B 2 Manager 5 Operator C 3 Operator A 6 Duress code This request will only be displayed if the code is added using the installer code. In other cases, the settings for sending messages on arming / disarming for the new code will be similar to the settings of the adding user. "0" reports on arming / disarming with the security user are not sent to the central monitoring station. "1" reports are sent. This request will be displayed if previously programmed groups for which the access schedule is in effect. Enter the group number (1-8) to which the user will belong. Enter "0" if no user restriction is required.

5 RF BUTTON? RF BUTTON? RF ZONE BUTTONS (01-64) ENTER BUTTON ZN #? (01-64) SET ACCESS? MULTI ACCESS? SECTION 2 P2? PART - 2 P2? GLOBAL. TAKING GLOBAL ARM? This request will be displayed if a 5800 series transmitter (key fob) has been programmed to arm / disarm the system and has not yet been assigned to the user. Enter "0" if you do not want to assign a transmitter to a user. Enter "1" to assign the transmitter to this user. This request will be displayed if the answer “1” was given to the system request at the previous step. Enter the zone number assigned to any of the buttons of the required transmitter. Enter "1" if the user should have access to other sections of the system. Enter "0" if you only want access to one section. The system will then exit the user programming mode. If "1" was selected in the previous step, then the questions about access to each of the existing sections will be sequentially asked, and you will also need to indicate user permissions for the remaining sections. If the user will have access to several sections (“1” is selected in the previous step), a question will be asked about the possibility of global setting by the user. Enter "1" if several sections are to be armed / disarmed at the same time. Enter "0" if each section is to be armed / disarmed by the user sequentially. At the end of the procedure for adding the code, general information on the user's properties will be displayed sequentially for each section assigned to the user.

6 View user permissions. To view the user's authority, enter a four-digit user code, and then press the "*" key 2 times. If the code is valid, information about the user's authority and the sections assigned to him will be displayed. The display order is the same as when you finished adding the user code. Changing user codes. To change the user code, go to the section in which the user was originally created (there is a "*" symbol when viewing the permissions). Then enter the master code, then "8", the user number and four digits of the new code. For example, to change the code, user 05 to “4568” using the master code “1234” will need to enter: Next, the keyboard will ask whether you want to add a new code or change the existing one: IT'S NEW. USEFULS? If you answer "1" then the system will go into the mode of adding codes. To change the code, you must answer "0". After that, the display will show a message about the successful change of the code or about an error. USER05X CHANGED USER05XX ERROR-USER 05 NOT CHANGED NOT CHANGED An error message will be displayed if you try to change a user while in a different partition from which it was created. Delete user codes. To delete a user code, go to the section in which the user was originally created (there is a "*" symbol when viewing the permissions). Then enter the master code, then "8", the user number and again the master code. For example, to delete the code, user 05 using the master code "1234" will need to enter: Next, a request will be issued to delete the code: DELETE 05? ADD A NEW USER? To delete, you must answer "1", after which you will be informed about the successful deletion: USER CODE. 05 REMOVED USER 05 CHANGED SUCCESFULLY OK TO DELETE 05? USER CODE 05 DELETED The user code and all settings have been completely removed from all sections. Possible error messages: ERROR FIELD 05 XX NOT DELETED ERROR-USER 05 NOT DELETED ERROR USER 05 NOT EXISTING. ERROR-USER 05 DO NOT EXIST This message will be displayed when you try to delete a user who has access to this section, but created in a different section. This message will be displayed when you try to delete a user who does not have access to this section.

7 Arming and disarming. If the keyboard works in the master keyboard mode, then to control a specific section, you need to go to this section by typing the command [*] + section number (1-8). If the partition is ready to be armed, the green Ready LED will light up and the display will show: *** DISARMED *** READY FOR ARMING Otherwise, the message about not ready to arm will be displayed: *** DISARM *** ZONE VIOLATED *** DISARM *** PUSH * TO VIEW To view violated zones, press the [*] key. After all zones are closed, the system can be armed. For full arming enter the code and press the key. After that, the red "Armed" indicator will light up and the exit delay (if programmed) will start counting, during which it is necessary to leave the protected area. The display will show: *** ACCEPT *** CAN EXIT At the end of the exit delay, the indication will change to: *** ACCEPT *** FULL ARM *** DISARMED *** READY TO ARM *** DISARMED *** ZONES FAULTED * ** DISARMED *** HIT * FOR FAULTS ARMED ** AWAY ** YOU MAY EXIT NOW ARMED ** AWAY ** Three additional arming modes are also available: partial, maximum and instant. All modes are summarized in the table below: Command Security Mode Features Code + Full Main security mode. All sensors in the partition are armed, there is an entry delay. • The American manufacturer of security systems Ademco was founded in 1977 and almost immediately became the world leader in the production of innovation systems security alarm. One of the main directions of the company is the production of high-tech control panels / Vista devices.

    Vista control panels (Vista 101 and Vista 501) are designed to implement security, fire and alarm systems as at objects individuals: apartments, country houses and townhouses, and at the facilities of organizations: the protection of offices, warehouses, shops.

    Alarm control panels Vista (VISTA) on Russian market security systems appeared in the late 1990s. Initially security alarm Vista (Vista 101, 501) were intended for centralized protection of premises with connection to the centralized monitoring consoles of the territorial police units of the Federal State Institution of Defense of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow and the Moscow Region. In accordance with the requirements of the FGKU UVO GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow and the Moscow region security device was installed in conjunction with a control and monitoring device such as "Bastion", UO3K SPI "Phobos", etc., which made it possible to control the supply voltage from 48 to 60V using a crossed telephone line. In the absence of this voltage (KTL) security system generated the "Alarm" signal and the consoles of the FGKU UVO GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow and the Moscow region sent police crews to the facility. Since the beginning of 2014, the MGTS company has been working to disconnect the crossed lines, in connection with which the clients of the FGKU UVO GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow and the Moscow Region need to replace control panels installed in addition to the Vista control panel (Vista 101, 501) on more modern OPs with the ability to transmit alarm signals via GSM and Ethernet channels. More detailed information, as well as the cost of replacement, you can contact our managers by phone: 8-499-372-02-21, 8-495-648-80-08.

    At present security equipment Vista 101, Vista 501 with additional modules or control panels, compatible with almost all consoles of both private security companies and centralized monitoring consoles of organizations in Moscow and the Moscow region.
