Reading

  • if you are not familiar with the topic that is stated in the text, do not worry, because, in order to find answers in the text, you do not need special knowledge;
  • if you are given tasks in which instead of skipping you need to insert words or phrases, read the offer to skips and after, try to guess what exactly is missing;
  • do not dwell on one question, you can always return to it, but while others do;
  • you always need to read the entire text to understand what the point is;
  • if you do not know the answer to the question, try to guess it;
  • preparing for the exam, read as many texts as possible in different styles.

Reading lasts 30 minutes and consists of 3 parts (9 tasks). For each part we advise to spend no more than 10 minutes to meet the allotted half an hour. Written task

  • it is worth writing about the same thing only in other words;
  • do not move away from the topic;
  • do not use such a vocabulary as in the task. Pick to the words synonyms;
  • keep track of time;
  • do not write more than you need, because it may indicate that you wrote a lot of superfluous;
  • remember that you need to allocate time to read what you wrote and if you need to fix the errors found.

For writing and checking 2 written works, a graduate is given 80 minutes. Task 1: Dan text of a short letter from a friend in which questions are asked. The student needs to read it and write a letter-answer: answer questions a friend and ask questions to him. Recommended execution time: no more than 20 minutes. Volume: 100-140 words. Maximum number of points: 6 points.

A letter to a friend is written in an informal style. The structure of this work is as follows:

1. We decorated "Cap"

In the upper right corner, we write the address: on the top line we indicate the city, under it - a country of residence. No need to write the street and house number: it may be regarded as disclosing confidential information, even if the address is fictional.

After the address we skip 1 line and write the date of writing the letter all in the same upper right corner. Further, as usual, on the left we write the unofficial appeal: DEAR TOM / JIM (the name will be given in the task). Here is unacceptable to write Hello.

After the appeal, we put the comma and continue to write the text of the letter from the new line.

2. Letter text

Each paragraph begins to write from a red string. In the first paragraph you need to thank a friend for the received letter (Thanks a lot for your Last Letter) and apologize that you have not written before (Sorry I Have't Been in Touch for So Long).

You can also mention some fact from the received letter. Next follows the bulk of the letter, including the second and third paragraphs. In the second you write the answers to all the questions you specified, in the third - ask your questions to a friend.

In the fourth paragraph, you need to sum up - report that you finish the letter (I'Ve Got to Go Now! It's Time for My Favourite TV Show), and offer to keep in touch (Take Care and Keep In Touch!).

3. End of the letter

At the end, you need to write the final phrase-cliché, after which the comma is always put: all the best, best wishes, etc. On the next line under this phrase, you specify your name.

Task 2.: Approval (usually controversial).

The graduate writes an essay, which argues on this topic, expresses his point of view, and also leads the opposite opinion and explains why he disagrees with him.

Essays are written in neutral style and consists of 5 paragraphs:

  1. Entry: we formulate the topic problem and immediately indicate that there are two opposite points of view.
  2. Your opinion: I express your point of view (one) on this issue and give 2-3 arguments that confirm it.
  3. Opposite opinions: We write 1-2 opposite points of view and give arguments in favor of their existence.
  4. We express disagreement: explain why they do not agree with the above points of view, and give arguments to defense of our own opinion. At the same time, they should not repeat the arguments from paragraph 2.
  5. Conclusion: We conclude on this topic, we indicate that there are different points of view, and finally confirm your point of view.

Vocabulary and grammar

  • if you need to insert a word, try to determine in which number and in what form it must be;
  • if you do not know the correct answer, you still do not leave skip, look for the answer by the method from the opposite;
  • check out spelling.

This section of the EGE in English 2018 checks the knowledge of grammatical structures and a graduate vocabulary. On his implementation, the student is given for 40 minutes. Let's see what to do a schoolboy.

Task 1: Dan text in which 7 words are missed. To the right of the text, the words you want to convert grammatically (for example, put the verb at the right time) and insert the pass. Recommended execution time: not more than 12 minutes. Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Task 2: Dan text with 6 passes. On the right are the words that need to be transformed and lexically, and grammatically - to form a single word, suitable in meaning to the text. Recommended execution time: no more than 15 minutes. Maximum number of points: 6 points.

Task 3: Dan text with 7 passes. You need to pick up each of them 1 is the right version of the response from the four offered. Recommended execution time: no more than 12 minutes. Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Oral speech

The oral part of the exam is the shortest, it takes only 15 minutes. The graduate must have time to perform as many as 4 tasks for which you can get a maximum of 20 points. The student gives jobs before the computer, its answers are recorded using the headset, and the time is shown on the screen. In the audience, at the same time there is an organizer who follows the progress of the exam.

Task 1: The screen displays the text of a popular science character. For 1.5 minutes, it is necessary to prepare and expressively read it out loud to the next 1.5 minutes. Performance time: no more than 3 minutes. Maximum number of points: 1 point.

Task 2: An advertisement is offered to which 5 direct questions are based on keywords. 1.5 minutes are given to preparation, then each question must be formulated for 20 seconds. Performance time: about 3 minutes. Maximum number of points: 5 points.

Task 3: Show 3 photos. You need to select 1 and describe it on the plan proposed immediately in the task. Performance time: about 3.5 minutes. Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Task 4: Dana 2 pictures. It is necessary to compare them, describe the similarities and differences, explain why the chosen theme is close to a graduate. Performance time: about 3.5 minutes. Maximum number of points: 7 points.

This section was not in EGE 2010, but still you should know the tips to this part.

  • if you are unclear the task, ask what is unclear, the examiner;
  • use as many words as possible, show your vocabulary;
  • you must understand that you need to express your personal opinion, and not discuss the topic with professionalism;
  • you may, you will forget any word, in which case you do not need to be lost, you can replace it with another word.;
  • you must realize that this section is not intended to demonstrate that you know how to build suggestions. You need to show communication skills.

Specification
control measuring materials
for holding in 2018
unified state exam
according to foreign languages

1. Appointment of examination work

Control measuring materials make it possible to establish the level of development by graduates of the federal component of the state educational standard of the main general and secondary (full) general education.

The results of a single state exam in a foreign language are recognized by general educational institutions that implement educational programs of secondary (complete) general education, as the results of state (final) certification, and educational institutions of secondary vocational education and educational institutions of higher professional education - as the results of entry tests on foreign Language.

2. Documents defining the content of the examination work

1. The federal component of state standards of the main general and secondary (full) general education, basic and profile level (order of the Ministry of Education of Russia of 05.03.2004 No. 1089).

2. Exemplary programs in foreign languages // New State Standards for Foreign Language. 2-11 classes / education in documents and comments. M.: AST: Astrel, 2004.

3. Programs of general education institutions. English for 10-11 school classes with in-depth study of foreign languages. M.: Enlightenment, 2003.

4. Programs for general education institutions. German for secondary schools with in-depth study of German. M.: Education: March, 2004.

5. Programs of general education institutions. French for grades 1-11 schools with in-depth study of foreign languages. M.: Enlightenment, 2001.

6. Programs of general educational institutions. Spanish for grades 5-11 schools with in-depth study of foreign languages. M.: Enlightenment, 2005.

When developing KIM, also takes into account:

7. Obino-European Competences of owning foreign language: study, teaching, evaluation. MGLU, 2003.

3. Approaches to the selection of content, developing the structure of KIM EGE

The purpose of the unified state exam in a foreign language is to determine the level of foreign language communicative competence of the examined. The focus is on speech competence, i.e. Communicative skills in different types of speech activities: audit, reading, writing, as well as language competence, i.e. Language knowledge and skills. Socio-cultural knowledge and skills are checked indirectly in the "Auditation" sections, reading and are one of the measurement objects in the "Letter" section; Compensatory skills are checked indirectly in the "Letter" section.

Consequently, Kim Ege in foreign languages contains sections "Auditting", "Reading", "Grammar and Lexik" and "Letter". It should be borne in mind that, although the "listening", "read" and "letter" sections have as objects of controlling the skills in the relevant types of speech activities, these skills are ensured by the necessary level of development of the language competence of the examined. Successful performance of tasks for monitoring recipe species of speech activity is ensured by knowledge of lexical units, morphological forms and syntactic structures and the skills of their recognition / recognition. The tasks of the section "Letter" require from the examined in addition to these knowledge skills of operating lexical units and grammatical structures in the communicative-significant context. Specographic skills are an object of control in the tasks of the B4-B16 section "Grammar and vocabulary", as well as tasks C1, C2 section "Letter".

4. CIM EGE STRUCTURE

The examination work contains the "listening", "reading", "grammar and vocabulary" and "letter".

To differentiate examined by foreign language levels within the federal component of the State Standard of General Education in Foreign Languages, all sections are included along with the tasks of the basic level of tasks higher levels of complexity.

The level of complexity of tasks is determined by the levels of complexity of language material and checked skills, as well as the type of task.
A foreign language work includes 28 tasks with a choice of response from three or four proposed, 16 open-type tasks with a short response, including conformity setting, and 2 open-type tasks with a detailed answer.

The basic, elevated and high levels of complexity of the tasks of the USE are related to the levels of ownership of foreign languages defined in the documents of the Council of Europe 1, as follows:

  • Basic level - A2 + 2
  • Increased level - B1
  • High level - B2

1 Obino-European Competences of Language: Study, Teaching, Evaluation. MGLU, 2003.

2 Since the entire possible range of levels of ownership of a foreign language is presented in the document of the Council of Europe only six levels, it is obvious that within each of them you can allocate certain sublevels. The designation of the basic level of EGE as A2 + means that from the description of the level A2 to prepare the tasks of the baseline, the developers are focused on descriptors lying closer to level B1, and not to level A1.
............................

Many graduates who plan to pass in 2018 by the EGE in English have a huge number of issues related to points, tasks, and time for their execution.

EGE in English will be a graduation school exam, whose writing is available to everyone. It is the indicators of the EGE will act as a state exam when joining the university. At the moment, it is not necessary to pass it, but if after graduating from school you want to enter a specialized university, then you will have to pass it.

According to its EGE structure, English is very similar to the International FCE exam, which is held in most European countries, to determine the level of knowledge base for the subject. For the passage of the passage, you must get the upper-intermediate (above average), which is not an easy task.

It is recommended to start preparing for the exam since the beginning of the 10th grade. Only so, gradually repeating the entire passed material, the student will be able to assimilate the knowledge in which the gap turned out to be fully prepared for the exam in English in 2018. Of course, this process can take less time, but only provided that the student has a high level of knowledge, and always trying to achieve perfection.

The exam consists of two parts: oral and written, which are held on different days. First, graduates 2017-2018 pass a written block, which includes auditing, reading, writing, speaking, as well as checking grammar and vocabulary. You need to make 40 tasks for 3 hours. 80 - Maximum score that can be obtained.

The second block is oral - surrendered at the request of the student, and is aimed at improving the ready-made result. Its execution is given only 15 minutes for which 4 additional tasks must be solved. Thus, you can improve the result in English by 20 points.

Any teacher will insist on visiting both parts of the exam, because even having failed the second part, the student will not worsen his result for a written block, but he will have a chance to improve it.

Changes to the EE in English in 2018 will notTherefore, there are no reasons for excitement.

How is the exam passes

EGE in English has a very specific structure, Kim makes it possible to quickly check the level of knowledge and skills in the main parameters. Exam Structure:

  1. Auditting includes 3 audio files that are associated in one tape. Turning it on, the teacher does not have the right to pause or stop. There is a small pause between fragments, during which students must enter the correct options for answers to the blank.
  2. Reading. For the execution of this section, half an hour is given, and 9 tasks. Among the main - read small texts, and connect them with suitable names, which will be 1 more.
    Tip: Most often it is in the first sentence that the main meaning of the test text is displayed, and then only clarifying details and trifles are given that will not be useful. As for the questions on the meaning of the text of the text, they go in the same manner as the chronology of the story. This can be traced in the instructions of the FII, which are freely available on the Internet.
  3. Vocabulary and grammar are designed to estimate the number of learned words, and the ability to draw up the right structures of them by using the right time and the pretext.
    Among the main tasks may be: enter the desired word, or submit it in a certain time by adding the end, or erecting into the desired form.
  4. The written part consists of two tasks whose execution is provided for 80 minutes. The first letter is given from a friend with a number of questions that the student must write an answer.
    The second task is to write an essay in English. A controversial judgment is given as a topic, and the student must express an opinion on this, and explain his point of view. Only the full disclosure of his thoughts and feelings may give the highest score. We will not deviate from the declared size of the presentation of the B200-250 symbols. Spere in writing will help the demo version, with which the preparation will be perfectly. You can also download a collection of writings in which you will find many examples of correctly written works.
  5. Oral speech. Check passes in front of the computer screen, using the headset. The monitor shows the time countdown, in general, it is given 15 minutes to 4 tasks.
    After completing all the blocks, the student can get a score maximum, when passing a single state exam. For each individual task, the student in the class receives certain points, which then summed.

The minimum passing score this year is 22, and the maximum 100. After receiving the result, it is translated into a standard five ballroom system according to certain new criteria, which is more familiar:

  • 0-21 The score corresponds to the estimate 2, and means that testing is failed.
  • 22-58 points is an estimate 3.
  • 59-83 points means a good result, and estimate 4.
  • The scored 84-100 points means that you have passed the exam for excellent, rating 5.

Usually, the results can be found 14 days after passing when both blocks are handed over. But, in some cases, it is possible to find out after 12 days. To do this, visit the official website, and find your last name. Mandatory issuance of paper certificates was canceled, now they can be viewed solely on the Internet.

the date of the

At the moment, talking about the date of the exam is a bit early, there are only preliminary information that may still be changed. The final decision will be announced at the beginning of 2018, but according to the latest information this:

  • At the end of March (pre-22 numbers) an early examination will be carried out. A graduates of previous anniversary, students of evening schools, future employees of the army, foreigners, or those who leave the country are allowed to pass this version. It is important to have a demonstration document confirming one of the above facts.
  • The main period will be launched from May 28. Everyone can take part in it.
  • The additional period is indicated from September 4.

How to prepare for the exam

The very essence and structure of the USE did not touch the changes, and therefore the preparation for it remains all the same thorough and difficult as in the previous years. In order to achieve an optimal option, you must initially correctly distribute your time, so that you have time to repeat the entire material to the decisive day. It does not need to combine different activities, and not only one part. For example, you need to pay time to reading and speaking, and not just to train trial tasks.

An excellent assistant in preparation for the exam will be the site of the FII. The site has an extensive bank of tasks of various complexity. The instructions of the FIPI assignment makes it possible to significantly improve their skills, simply by performing the number per number. Constantly training on such a simulator and learning the tasks of 2018, you will certainly achieve high results.

In addition, try to surround yourself with English-speaking sources of information: see movies in a foreign language, read books, listen to the texts of your favorite songs.
