People who are fond of palmistry claim that the number of years allotted specific person, can be recognized by the line of life on the hand. It is believed that fate is written in the palm of your hand, and marks in the form of veins are signs of the past, present and future. There are several ways, thanks to which you can not only find out how many years of a person’s life are measured, but also under what circumstances his life will end.

life line

There are many lines on the human palm - both large and small. Most of of them matters. It is possible to determine exactly how much a person has left to live only on the basis of all the results obtained.

Finding a life trait in the palm of your hand is not difficult, it is one of the most prominent on it:

  • starts between thumb and forefinger
  • ends in front of the wrist;
  • represents an arc.

There is an opinion that the shorter this feature on the hand, the shorter the life of a person will be. Experienced palmists disagree with this statement. They are sure of the opposite: the duration of this feature on the hand does not affect the age at which death will overtake. To determine the number of years allotted to a person, you need to analyze the clarity of the line of life, its color, width and depth.

If the mark is dark in color, clear and long, then the person will live a long time.

In order to find out how many years a person has left to live, you should use the method of determining time. To do this, you need a regular felt-tip pen and a ruler. You can also use a gel pen or any other that writes on the skin.

To determine the duration of the life path using the method of determining time, you need:

  1. 1. Attach a ruler to the middle of the index finger vertically, and then mentally draw an even strip to the line of life.
  2. 2. Put a dot where these two lines touched - the age of 10 years is marked here.
  3. 3. Mark the second point at the intersection of the line of life with a line drawn to it from the gap between the index and middle fingers. This mark indicates the age of 20 years.
  4. 4. Measure the length of the segment between 10 and 20 years.
  5. 5. Calculate how many such segments will fit on a given life line. Each of them represents one ten years.

For example, if about 7 such marks fit on this line, a person will live 70 years. When, after the distribution of full 10-year segments along the line, it has not yet ended, you need to figure out how many years it could be: about half of the segment is 5, a third is 3–4 years.

Contrary to popular belief, there is nothing wrong with the fact that there are gaps in the palm of your hand or the line is tripled. This is considered a symbol of the fact that a person is protected by a strong guardian angel who will prevent all his misfortunes and troubles.

fate line

Unlike the line of life, not everyone has a trait of fate. In palmistry, this is considered a bad sign. This means that fate is not yet destined, and there is a high probability that a person will die in a young or childhood.

The line of fate is straight, weakly expressed, runs vertically across the entire palm - from the fingers to the wrist.

If there is one, then you can find out the approximate life span of a person from it. The point of 18 years is located at the very beginning of the line, 35 - at the intersection of the lines of the mind and fate, and 50 - at the point of contact between the lines of fate and the heart. If it goes beyond the last mark, that is, 50 years, then a person's life will be long, and he will die in old age.

The line of fate bifurcates and intersects with the line of life - what does this mean?

mind line

The line of the mind is clearly visible in the palm of your hand. It's average longitudinal bar on her. It is located between the lines of the heart and life. Thanks to this label, you can also calculate how many years a person is allotted. To do this, it is necessary to divide the trait of the mind into three approximately identical parts:

  • from 0 to 20 years;
  • from 20 to 40 years;
  • from 40 to 60 years old.

Then you need to use a ruler and a felt-tip pen. From the middle of the little finger, an even and clear line is drawn down. If it intersects with the first segment, a person will die in young age, if the line intersects with the second, then he will die before the age of 40, with the third - he will live to old age.

Palmistry is the ancient art of reading lines in the palm of your hand in order to predict a person's fate.

Many people can learn this and have a good time in an informal setting, "predicting" the fate of their friends and relatives, but this does not make them palmists. Not everyone can become a professional palmist for a number of reasons. For example, it is not enough just to know chirology, it is necessary to understand human psychology.

The palmist has the greatest power and the greatest responsibility: he sees the future of a person by his hand. Therefore, he must be able to competently, accurately and carefully, based on the personal qualities of the client and his ability to perceive negative information, explain what he saw.

Just as not everyone is able to master any profession, so not everyone can be a good palmist. But you should not be upset, because no one forbids being just an amateur. For the sake of your pleasure, self-education and self-knowledge, palmistry can and should be practiced.

Fundamentals of chirology

At the very beginning, it is necessary to study the human hand itself: the skin, the shape of the palm, the length of the fingers, nails.

The appearance of the hand can say a lot about a person in the same way as the palm: what is his character, state of health, etc., for example, if the hands are pale with thin skin in front of you, you have a sensitive nature, subject to heart disturbances.

Then you should feel the bumps in the palm of your hand, there are only nine of them:

  • Mount of Venus
  • two hillocks of Mars
  • hillock of Jupiter
  • Mount of Saturn
  • Mount of Apollo
  • mound of Neptune
  • Mount of Mercury
  • mound of the moon

The presence or absence of these hills in the palm of your hand can tell a lot about a person's personality. For example, a pronounced upper hill of Mars speaks of will, fighting qualities, but the second opposite hill of Mars indicates a strong level of patience. There are a lot of different subtleties in chirology.

After studying the bumps, you need to look at the lines in the palm of a person:

  1. life
  2. hearts
  3. health
  4. fate
  5. Apollo

Even after reading only the lines of life, heart and mind, you can give a complete picture of life in the palm of your hand.

Head line (mind)

Along this line, one can judge the mental abilities of a person, his success in activities and professionalism. This line is located in the middle of the palm, deviates downward from the index finger to the little finger. Considering this line, it is necessary to pay attention to its length, the angle of inclination.

fate line

Much can be said about a person's life and future along this line. This line may not be in all people. The study of the life line should be dealt with at the end, comparing the data obtained from other palms.

health line

This line speaks of chronic human diseases. Many palmists believe that the absence of this line is an ideal case. The study of this is extremely difficult, since it is subject to serious changes in short time time

Apollo line

This line speaks of a person's self-esteem, achievements and success. How the client perceives himself, his confidence in own forces can be read along this line.

Chirology is a science that requires patience and time, complex and specific.

This article has introduced the basic concepts of divination by hand, but this is not enough to become a true professional in this field. However, do not be upset: to guess, it is not necessary to be a real palmist. Any person after some time studying palmistry will be able to tell fortunes by his hand or the hand of friends. In this way, we can better understand ourselves and the people around us.

It is worth remembering that the lines of life can change in the same way as the person himself, the results of divination in different periods of life may vary.

Since ancient times, people have tried to predict the fate of the most various methods. One of them is palmistry - divination by hand.

What do the lines on the palms mean

On the hands there are key and minor signs.

There are 5 main lines:

  • Heart line;

In addition to them, there is also on the hand a large number of signs, and each has its own meaning. It happens that the lines change dramatically, and a completely different pattern appears in the palm of your hand. Then the predictions will have to be read differently. It depends on how a person behaves, and what actions he performs.

Lines in the palm of your hand can tell you more about the future than you think.

Experienced palmists know that it is impossible to predict along only one line. All of them are interconnected and can supplement information for a particular event. Sometimes you can see the inevitable tragedy, usually it is inevitable if it is reflected on two hands at once. But in the same way, they see and predict great joy or a solemn event in the lines.

The difference between right and left hands

Before fortune-telling, you need to find out whether a person is right-handed or left-handed - this will play a big role. The active hand, the one with which you write, will tell about the present and the future.

In addition to upcoming events, you can determine the character of a person and his talents, which are given from birth. These abilities can be recognized by looking at the second hand. Some talents that are shown in the palm of opportunity (the palm of a less active hand) are not known to many people. But sometimes they have long been developed and bring great success in life.

The palms of the hands differ from each other in the form of lines

Note! Most people are right-handed, and when a person uses the active hand more often, it absorbs changes in his life. Therefore, the lines on one and the other palm will differ.

If you can read a large number of similar signs on both hands, this indicates that the person lived a not very interesting and not diverse life. As soon as tangible differences in the lines with an inactive hand appear on the leading hand, this indicates that a bright event has occurred in the fate of a person.

How to determine the dominant hand

As a rule, in palmistry, the present and future are predicted by the dominant palm. Secondary can be used for additional information. Determining the dominant hand is not difficult, this is the one with which you write. She talks about what a person has already managed to do in his life, his plans for the future, his views on relationships, money, career.

For people who write with their left hand, it is this palm that leads

There are people who were left-handed from birth, but at school or kindergarten they were taught to write with their right hand. Their dominant hand will still be the left. Experienced palmists use papillary patterns, which help them easily determine whether a person is right-handed or left-handed. Beginners should follow the basic rule that you need to predict on both hands.

Psychological illnesses are considered on the lines of the background palm

It is on her that they appear earlier than on the leader. Their marks are indicated on the main lines.

Main lines of the hand

Everyone has them in the palm of their hand. Usually these lines are pronounced and immediately noticeable. By studying palmistry in detail and learning how to read lines in the palm of your hand, you can learn that the color of the line, as well as the symbols that appear on the line, are important.

Understanding the importance of the lines on the hands is not so difficult, the main thing is to figure out where and what lines are located

According to the drawings on the palms, the following is determined:

  1. Sharp lines, without interruptions, having a pink tint, mean good health and a balanced nervous system.
  2. If the lines are wide, this means that you have a mundane nature in front of you, without ideals.
  3. Subtle and deep - determine the high impressionability and emotionality.
  4. Dashed lines will tell about the presence of chronic diseases.
  5. A brownish, bluish and yellowish hue will tell about a serious illness.

It is located between the index and thumb, goes towards the wrist. It's good that it's long. If this is not the case, you should not be upset. It cannot predict how long you are destined to live, it determines the quality of life itself.

Considering this line, it is possible to determine the following:

  • a broken, fuzzy and short line means character uncertainty and weakness on the part of health, it disposes a person to a tendency to get sick often;
  • a clear and continuous line tells about a large supply of energy;
  • if the line is closer to the index finger - the person is energetic and ambitious, in the middle of the palm - its owner easily goes through difficulties, closer to the thumb - insecure;
  • breaks on the line of the active hand prophesy drastic changes in life, and on the passive - about complex emotional maturation;
  • after line breaks, its continuation is important. If it manifests itself more clearly - a change for the better awaits a person, decreases - for the worse, approaches the center of the palm - promises a new job;
  • a fork at the base speaks of a love of travel;
  • branches up - positive changes, down - worries.

When the line ends early - this does not promise an early end to your life.

To determine the approximate date of events, the line is approximately divided into 12 segments. And they are determined for 7 years.

heart line

Passes below the little finger to the middle between the middle and index fingers. She will tell the palmist about feelings.

If you see only one very long line- it means that there is one deep, true love for life

Looking at how it is formed in the palm of your hand, you can determine:

  • with clear and straight line- the person is responsive, practical;
  • if you have to read a short line, perhaps in a person it is due to a poor emotional connection with people;
  • if it is low, the person is secretive;
  • a straight line speaks of a caring and worried nature;
  • big bend - a happy family life;
  • when the line ends under the index finger - a penchant for romance;
  • breaks in the line indicate experiences, chains of islands will tell about mood variability.

Mind line (head)

It runs from the edge of the palm and breaks under ring finger. It defines mental ability.

Looking at it, you can see:

  • the line reaches the little finger - abilities in philosophy;
  • short line - narrow thinking;
  • straight line - straightforward thinking, curved - subjective;
  • if it bends and lengthens at the end - a different perception of the world;
  • when the line of the mind and life do not converge - this speaks of courage. When they seek to come into contact with each other, a person depends on the opinions of others;
  • breaks and dashes mean inconstancy.

It runs from the wrist to the middle finger in an upright position. It can be used to predict personality.

This line does not form for everyone.. If it is well defined in the palm of your hand, this means that fate has already been determined, if it does not exist at all, it means that fate can be changed.

What can be said along the line:

  • fragments will say that the future can only be predicted on those fragments where the line is marked;
  • if the line begins clearly in the center at the base of the palm, this means that the person is responsible. When it passes from the hill of the Moon, such people do not hold back emotions, are sociable, the line enters the hill of the Moon - a non-standard way of life prevails;

During major life changes, the line of fate changes

The fuzzy line means that external events can change the course of a person's life.

It starts from the hill of Mercury, and ends at the bottom of the palm. It almost always looks uneven due to the fact that from the birth of a person it shows the presence of diseases or their manifestation. If there is no health line, this indicates that the person rarely gets sick.

The life line provides additional information to many of the signs that are present on the health bar.

Sometimes an imperceptible parallel line appears at the edge of the palm, which is called - " Milky Way". Her presence promises a person a happy life.

Carefully! If the line of health crosses the line of life, this means that a person needs to pay attention to health. The successful overcoming of a serious illness may be indicated by the layering of a segment of one line on another.

Line of happiness (sun)

It can be seen from the ring finger to the wrist near the hill of the moon. It does not appear to everyone. Carries only positive meaning. Shows success in life and career, has nothing to do with personal life.

line of intuition

It is located on the hill of the Moon in the form of an arc. It can be found only among those people who have a well-developed intuition, as well as among mediums.

Line of love (marriage)

Such lines are placed on the palm under the little finger on the hill of Mercury. You need to read them, given the depth and quantity. It is believed that all of them mean a serious relationship. Deep lines promise longer romances.

Line of love and marriage

As you know, to calculate the duration of the novel, you need to divide the line from the upper border of the hill of Mercury to the line of the heart. They take three even segments, each of them will be 25 years.

Lines of children

Depart from the marriage line. Their number coincides with the number of children. Clear lines - promise a male child, fuzzy - female.

For those who want to know their fate, palmistry will help to predict events or correct failures in better side. Those who are seriously interested and want to learn how to predict the future themselves need to study all the lines to the smallest detail and remember that you need to guess all over the hand as a whole - after all, even one positive sign can change several negative ones.

  • What to say, what to say
    So people are arranged -
    Want to know, want to know
    They want to know what will happen.
    (song from the movie "Ah, vaudeville, vaudeville")

    Hello dear readers of the blog ""!

    I think that most people still want to know - what awaits them in the future.
    From this desire arose various ways who can somehow help with this - astrology (horoscopes), physiognomy, numerology, Tarot cards, palmistry.

    Palmistry is the oldest way to predict the future. According to palmists, they can predict the future and see the past along the lines in the palm of your hand.

    Remember, on television they showed the series " Palmist". The majority learned about palmistry from this film, and many later had a desire to learn more about this ancient knowledge.

    « Palmist "- Russian TV series in 2005 based on the novel of the same name by Sergei Kiriyenko.
    He wrote the script for the series Palmist based on his own novel of the same name and nowhere published.

    I propose to dwell a little more on the concept itself. Palmistry and then proceed to the literature review, which will deepen the initial knowledge.

    At the same time, I will warn my readers against hasty conclusions based on information obtained only from books. Any knowledge requires a serious approach, especially ancient knowledge.

    At the first stage, acquaintance with palmistry can be considered as a tool for introspection and self-knowledge, allowing you to look at yourself and your qualities from the outside.
    And only a deep study, a meeting with the masters, experience will allow you to move on to the next stage - trying predict the future. Or to put it more precisely - to pay attention to the possible development of events in the future.

    So let's get started. Let's approach the study of the topic systematically and start with a definition.

    Definition of Palmistry

    Word comes from the Greek words - hand and divination, prophecy.

    This is one of the oldest systems of divination about a person, about his individual characteristics, experienced and future events. according to the shapes and lines of the hand.

    It was known to the Hindus, Chaldeans, Jews, Greeks and Romans. Palmists, astrologers and other soothsayers were in the service of the rulers. Every self-respecting ruler had his own court astrologer or palmist.

    In the East, the first literary sources relating to palmistry date back to 2000. BC. Palmistry is part of the Vedas - scriptures Indians. Specifically, the treatise salmudrika shastra, it contains a lot of information about the signs on the human hand and their interpretation.

    Also, the works of the great Indian sage have come down to us Valmika Maharishi(from Sanskrit - translated as " great sage”), whose age is about 5 thousand years. They contain five hundred and sixty-seven poetic stanzas, and each of them tells about the meaning of one of the signs.

    One of the first treatises summarizing the doctrine of signatures was written by the ancient Indian astrologer Brahmagupta.

    For information:

    In the West, the works of Aristotle can be named among the first sources.

    Aristotle(384 BC - 322 BC) - ancient Greek philosopher a student of Plato.

    According to legend, during his travels in Egypt, Aristotle found an ancient Arabic scroll that described the meaning of the palmar tubercles.
    He ordered to send this scroll to Alexander the Great, while writing: “ The knowledge contained in this golden scripture is worthy of your great soul.».
    By order of Alexander, this papyrus was translated into Greek and, in honor of his teacher, he named it Chiromancia Aristoteles.
    Aristotle was convinced that the lines on human palms are not drawn thoughtlessly, they speak of heavenly influence and the individuality of each person».

    In the second century BC, Hipparchus, the founder of astronomy, proved that there is a relationship between the planets and the human soul, and this is reflected in the human hand. He gave the names of the planets to the fingers and tubercles of the hand.

    Julius Caesar owned palmistry, and he attached such importance and importance to it that he did not even accept one prince only because he did not have the appropriate sign on his hand confirming his high origin.

    The physician Galen wrote more than 500 medical books and almost 250 on various subjects, including the interpretation of dreams and palmistry.

    Galen(129 or 131 years - about 200 or 217 years) - Roman (Greek origin) physician, surgeon and philosopher.

    Why do I bring these names? Well, at least for the fact that the names of such serious scientists of antiquity say that Palmistry is not an invention of the unenlightened, but something more - What you should pay attention to.

    Palmistry in Europe

    After the fall of the Roman Empire, palmistry was forgotten. Catholicism with its Inquisition stopped any attempts of a person to look behind the veil of the mystery of the future

    In the Middle Ages, mainly healers and sorcerers were engaged in predictions by hand. In addition, this knowledge was spread by gypsy tribes who roamed Europe at the beginning of the 15th century.

    Nicholas Renier. "Fortune-telling scene". 1625. Louvre, Paris.

    But after inventions of printing previously secret knowledge became available to many.

    In 1448 in Germany Gartlieb writes his book The Art of Palmistry.

    In 1522, a book was published entitled "Iutrubuctiones Apoteles matricae eleg-in Chiromantian", written by a Carthaginian monk Johann von Hagen.
    This book was supplied with numerous drawings and withstood many editions.

    Johann von Hagen (circa 1467 - 1537) was a German astrologer. Monk of the Carthusian order.

    Then came the books Bartelomeo de la Roca(1504) and Agrippa von Nottesheim from Germany (1515). Between 1533 and 1560, these books were published in France and other European countries.

    Paracelsus was engaged in palmistry and systematized all the data available about it. It was at that time that the belief appeared that Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Apollo, Mercury and the Moon ruled the drawing of lines on the palms, and that a person could learn from these drawings about what God had destined for him.

    Paracelsus(real name Philip Aureol Theophrastus Bombast von Hohenheim (1493-1541) - famous alchemist and physician.

    In 1640 an Italian Belote a book was written on palmistry.
    During this period, translations of works on palmistry from Latin and Arabic appeared in Europe. For example, Abugalaben Omar(1670) Mengene(1687), etc.

    In Europe, palmistry flourished in the 16th-18th centuries. With early XVII century, palmistry was taught as an independent discipline in Germany in educational institutions Halle and Leipzig. Many universities even had departments of palmistry. Lectures by Professor Hexner and Adam Nitzky were popular.

    Palmistry became extremely popular in all European capitals, but at the same time in England it was outlawed as a form of witchcraft.

    In the 18th century, palmistry flourished in France, where it was very popular among the nobility. Myself Napoleon was her supporter and often consulted fortune-tellers.

    In 1843, the book Chirognomonia by Captain Stanislas D'Arpentigny.
    Casimir Stanislas D'Arpentigny, a French captain, after meeting with a gypsy, became interested in why so much can be said about a person by his hand. He began his research by studying the differences in the shapes of people's hands. His book was considered the best at the time.
    D'Arpentigny identified seven main types of hands, which are still used by many modern palmists today.

    Palmistry received a powerful impetus to the development thanks to the artist Adolphe de Barol. In 1860, his book Secrets of the Hand, the most famous book on palmistry, was published in France. To this day, it is the reference book of all palmists in the world.
    In 1868 it was published in the Russian Empire.

    Adolphe Debarroll famous French palmist.

    He studied Kabbalah under the guidance of Eliphas Levi himself, a well-known occultist. Debarolle combined the knowledge of Kabbalah with palmistry.

    One of the most famous palmists was Luis Hamon. He was born in Ireland and his real name was William John Varner, also known as Heiro (Hiro).

    Luis Hamon, Heiro(1866-1936)

    According to information from his memoirs, he learned palmistry and acquired skill in India under the guidance of a brahmin who brought him to his village and there, over time, he was given the opportunity to read an ancient book on palmistry.

    In 1897 in England, his book " hand guide". Luis Hamon's amazingly accurate hand predictions are based on a synthesis of the knowledge of the East and Europe.

    In 1900, a book by an American chirologist was published in the USA William J. Banham"Laws of scientific reading of the hand" - he combined the works of de Barolle and D'arpentigny.

    Benham became interested in chirology at the age of thirteen, when he, like Casimir Stanislas D'Arpentigny, learned the secrets of palmistry from a young gypsy woman.
    He devoted himself to making the study of the hands "...worthy of the best efforts of the best minds" and to move it from superstition to a scientific discipline.

    Palmistry in the 20th century

    In the 20th century, palmistry was officially recognized in many countries of the world. This was started by medicine, which pays more serious attention to the signs on the palms.

    Scientists from major research centers, such as Emory Medical University in Atlanta, the Kennedy-Galton Center at the University of London, began to study palmistry from the point of view of a person's predisposition to certain diseases.

    Today, in serious medical journals in the West, one can find interesting conclusions regarding the connection between hands and the state of physical and mental health of a person.

    In many firms and public institutions Europe, the USA and Japan, palmists began to act as consultants.
    In Europe, chirology is recognized as one of the ways of knowing oneself and the world.

    In 1944, the first serious work on chirological analysis was published. Julius Spier"Children's Hands"

    Then came the work Noel Jaquin, Charlotte Wolf and Andrew Fisgerbert.

    The most famous in the twentieth century were such palmists as William Benham (USA), S.K. Sen (India), John Saint-Germain (France), Noel Jaquin (USA), Charlotte Wolfe (England), Andrew Fitzherbert (USA) , Peter West (USA) and many others.

    The famous psychiatrist K. Jung in his medical practice often used palmistry to study the patient and predict his future. Jung believed that, knowing palmistry, you can unravel the secrets of the subconscious.
    He said: “From the hands, whose forms and functional abilities are closely dependent on the psyche, one can identify and, accordingly, interpret the mental properties of the human character”.

    K. Jung was a friend of the well-known palmist Julius Spier. After attending Spier's consultations, Jung came to this conclusion: I have to say that I was overly impressed with the results..”

    Carl Gustav Jung(1875 - 1961) - Swiss psychiatrist, founder of one of the areas of depth psychology, analytical psychology.

    Palmistry and Science

    Modern science does not recognize palmistry as a science, referring it to the field of pseudoscience and esotericism.
    Although at the same time in some countries, for example in India, in Mumbai there is the National Indian University, which teaches palmistry. In Canada, in Montreal, in 1940, the “National Academy of Palmistry” was opened, which still exists, where anyone can study.

    Despite the fact that Palmistry is rejected by official science, but at the same time, the study of the embryonic development of finger patterns in connection with heredity gave impetus to the emergence of a new branch of knowledge - dermatoglyphics. It is considered proven that the formation of the skin pattern of the palms, as well as the development of the brain, occurs at 3-4 months of intrauterine development.

    Dermatoglyphics- a new branch of knowledge that studies the development of finger patterns in connection with heredity. (This term was proposed by the American scientists Kamins and Middle).

    This unique pattern is familiar to police officers, forensic scientists and criminals who are fingerprinted.

    Among the ancient Hindus and Chinese, the thumbprint not only played the role of a signature, but, in order to avoid misunderstandings, it certainly had to duplicate the signature.

    Hindus are convinced that the uniqueness of this pattern is a reflection of the individual karma of each person. Interestingly, in Sanskrit, the concepts of "seal" and "fingerprint" are homographs, that is, they are written the same way.

    The results of dermatoglyphic studies are used in the diagnosis of many congenital brain diseases. Dr. Theodore J. Berry, in his book The Hand as a Mirror of Systematics of Diseases, showed how serious diseases such as rubella, mitral valve prolapse, dystrophy, and various others can be determined from the lines of the hands of patients.

    It is necessary to mention Sir Francis Galton, because it was in his monograph on fingerprints "Finger prints" (1892) that the basic principles of dermatoglyphics were laid down (the invariance of finger patterns throughout life, a strict individuality and a simple possibility of classifying into three types - arcs (arches), loops, curls).

    Sir Francis Galton(1822 - 1911) - English explorer, geographer, anthropologist and psychologist; founder of differential psychology and psychometrics, statistician.

    In general terms, we got acquainted with the history of Palmistry and it's time to move on to the essence - what does Palmistry include. Of course also in general terms.

    Main lines of the palm

    There are six main lines on our palms, which are called the main ones.

    Each line has a name and its pattern reflects some aspect of human life.

    life line - considered the most important, it is on it that they pay attention in the first place. Often the length of this line is associated with life expectancy, but this is not entirely true. More precisely, it indicates the way and quality of life, physical vitality, stability of character, willpower.

    Heart line - shows the power and ability of emotional perception, the power of affection and the ability to love. Those. shows the emotional makeup of a person.

    head line - reports on the ability to any profession, the level of intelligence, the ability to think logically, the ability to succeed.

    Mercury line - talks about the state of health, professional qualities, adventure and the spirit of the explorer.

    The Apollo line has another name - the "line of happiness", shows how best to use creative energy and the possibility of succeeding by developing your talents.

    Line of Saturn shows the manifestation of character, attitude towards a career, relationships with friends, daily problems and the ability to succeed in life in general.

    Minor lines

    There are also secondary lines: the line of marriage, the line of intuition and all kinds of branches from the main lines.

    For example, the length and success of marriage and even the number of children can be determined from the line of marriage.

    Fingers and hills

    The fingers on the hand also have their own names. Their names depend on those planets that rule the nearby territory, which indicates the connection of palmistry with astrology. Thumb- Venus, forefinger - Jupiter, middle - Saturn, nameless - Apollo, and little finger - Mercury.

    Each planet carries a symbol:
    Venus - love, love of life;
    Jupiter - power;
    Saturn - time, fate, fate;
    Sun (Apollo) - success, gifts and talents;
    Mercury - trade, Practical activities, ingenuity.

    There are fleshy pads on the palm - hills (a bulge located under the finger). Each finger of the hand corresponds to its own "planetary hill". The hillocks show the hobbies and interests of a person, they also judge the psycho-emotional state of a person.
    Mercury: soul energy, intelligence, moral strength, practicality.

    Apollo: compassion, love of beauty, creative talents, ability to succeed.

    Saturn: seriousness, foresight, despondency, prejudice.

    Jupiter: leadership, honor, ambition, religiosity.

    Lesser Hill of Mars: morale, self-control.

    Greater Mount of Mars: resistance, composure, calmness and courage.

    Venus: kindness, love, modesty, passion.

    Moon: Sentimentality, imagination, selfishness.

    Palmists highlight lines, signs, patterns and other indicators on the hands. Each finger has its own line: the thumb - the line of life, the index - the line of the heart, the middle - the line of fate, the ring finger - the line of happiness, the little finger - the line of mercury. In addition, additional lines are distinguished: the line of the mind, the line of Mars, the line of intuition, the lines of influence and other, small lines.

    There are main types of signs: cross, star, quadrilateral, dot, circles, islands, triangles, lattices.

    The meaning of each sign, palmists determine by cumulative factors. Depending on which line the sign is located on (for example, a cross - bad sign on a good line and good sign on bad. The star is the best lucky sign, wherever it is).

    And there are many such combinations, situations, and they concern signs, lines, hills. So - not everything is so simple and unambiguous. Knowledge and experience required.

    Levels of study of palmistry

    For a person far from teaching, it seems that on " three lines”, which stand out most on the hand, palmistry ends.

    But it's not. There are four levels of hand study:

    1. The first level is the study of papillary lines on the fingers and palm of a person. These lines allow you to determine the genetic predisposition to certain diseases.

    This is the pragmatic part of palmistry, which has a scientific justification and a special science, dermatography, is engaged in this area. She was mentioned a little higher.

    2. The second and third levels are interconnected and study the shape of the hand, as well as the lines on the palm. Both of these levels together constitute the so-called field of study - chirology.

    Chirology, in turn, consists of two sections:

    - chirognomy, determines the relationship between the shape of the palm, the shape of the hands, the size of the fingers and the characteristics of a person's personality.

    - palmistry, the main area of study is the palm (its lines, patterns, bumps).

    3. The fourth level is palmistry itself. Those. prediction of the future.

    So everyone chooses for themselves the appropriate level of study. And can see the possibilities of further advancement through the levels.

    Review of books on Palmistry

    The list of books on Palmistry is so long that you can drown in this stream. But I think that the readers of the blog "" already know how to form their own approaches to the choice of literature.
    It is important to have some principle of classification of literature in the selection. One of them, the principle from the author .

    First, consider the books of those authors who are most famous and have made a personal contribution to the topic of Palmistry. Those. Basically, they are the originals.
    Secondly, let's consider - authors-collectors (populists) of information and authors-interpreters. Their books are also interesting and often help to fill in passages that were not well understood in the original sources.

    Someone is closer to the principle - from simple to complex. In this case, you can start with fiction, simple books and only then move on to more complex ones.
