A complete stop of the internal dialogue. Stopping Internal Dialogue (IAS)

Let's talk a little about internal dialogue (ID). What is it - I think everyone is in the know. It's just our everyday mental activity, our ego's chatterbox :-) Uncontrollable and sometimes annoying versatile noise of thoughts in the head, preventing us from concentrating on one thing. By the way, fears are often the result of an internal dialogue that enhances all our experiences. VD is often the reason for the loss of concentration on the outside world and the lack of inner peace and harmony in a person. The VD is not our own self, it is merely a product of the external environment. The only thing IA does is take us away from "reality" by creating self-doubt (most often).

By the way, a little about the thoughts themselves. We need to realize that we have two kinds of thoughts: active and passive. We generate active ones ourselves every day, and passive thoughts are brought into us from the outside (the influence of the System or entities). Passive thoughts can pose a threat to us, because we are not able to control them, because we did not create them, but someone laid them in us.

Why is it important to be able to stop the internal dialogue? This is necessary in order to enter a state of peace and quiet, which makes it possible to reveal one's potential, to know oneself. It changes the quality of life! In this state, you can effectively work with many of your aspects:

Track passive mental images;
- remove your fears, patterns, stereotypes;
- work with your past/present/future;
- go beyond the physical world...etc.

It is quite difficult to quickly achieve a stop of the HP (but it is possible!). Many monks have been working on themselves for decades, achieving complete silence of the mind through meditation and daily repetition of mantras. But this does not mean at all that it is unattainable and "what for it is necessary." I was able to do it, so you can too, if you make some efforts for self-development. ;-)

There are a lot of different ways to stop the VD on the Internet, but I will talk about the three most effective methods that I use myself.

So, let's move on to practical exercises. They are not complicated at all. :-)

Technique 1. The position of the "outside observer".

The most effective way to stop the thought-mixer is to move into the position of an "outside observer" (EOI). What is this position and how to get into it? ;-) Everything is simple here - this is the position of consciousness when we simply observe everything around, without evaluating anything (I'm talking about judgments), even just a little bit. You can even do this with your eyes closed. To go to the PVN, you need to concentrate all your attention on the outside world (completely deconcentrate), learn to be at the point "here and now."

Technique 2. Watch your breath.

Another way to stop VD is to focus on your breathing. The cycle of our breathing is the rhythmic alternation of inhalation and exhalation. Between them for a fraction of a second there is a pause (stopping the cycle). It is necessary to concentrate on this natural pause between inhalation and exhalation. Try not to say anything about yourself during this/these moments. Gradually, you need to increase this pause, concentrating on which, you completely free yourself from mental chaos. However, it is important that the breathing is as normal as you would normally breathe.

Pause in the breath cycle

.
You can train everywhere: when you walk down the street, sit in the train or wash the dishes. Just be sure to keep an eye on the depth of breathing, otherwise almost all beginner practitioners have a tendency to involuntarily switch to deeper breathing.

At first, you will increase the pause between inhalation and exhalation, concentrating on the pause, and after a while you will catch yourself thinking that you are also silent inside yourself during inhalations and exhalations. :-)

Technique 3. The Valkyries method (from the book by Paulo Coelho "Valkyries").

The last technique is interesting in that no effort is needed to try to stop our thoughts. We simply give them complete freedom of action, let our thoughts flow freely. Suddenly? ;-) Relax and pay your attention to those mental images that are constantly spinning in your head. Just sit / lie down and watch the flow of these uncontrolled thoughts. If you focus on an active thought and give it free rein, it will first unwind, then stop, freeze, and then completely disintegrate. But there is a risk that you will simply fall asleep ... here you need to be able to resist ...

That's all. As mentioned above - nothing complicated. ;-)

Important note. All of the above techniques (as well as all the others that I publish) work great only if they are used regularly. Otherwise, it simply does not make sense to do this one-time, for example, once a month.

Methods of self-development: the initial stage

To begin with, while mastering new methods of self-development, I tried to adhere to the following principles:

1. No need to fight with anything or anyone. And even more so, you should not fight with yourself. It is better to follow the path of least resistance: move away, switch temporarily to another task, make a request, accept, let go, etc.
If you are still drawn to compete with someone, and life without a struggle seems insipid, ask what is the reason for addiction to such an overactive and costly way of life and thoughts. For three quarters of my life I firmly believed in the "necessity of tension", until I proved the opposite to myself, having worked out the causes of this malicious overlay (I will post the material about the types of overlays later, it is almost ready).

2. If possible, the development of any developmental method/method/practice should take place either in a playful way (like exercise 4 of Fragment 3.3.), or give at least some pleasure (like exercises 1 and 6 of Fragment 3.3). You should not scour yourself with or without reason, thereby causing the resistance of your own nature. This is especially important in the early stages. And only later, when purposeful and conscious self-development becomes an integral part of your life, you definitely cannot do without self-discipline;).

3. Be patient, do not demand quick results from yourself, do not compare yourself with anyone. On the path of self-development, it is worth competing only with yourself. Waiting for it, whatever it is, takes a lot of energy from us, so never wait for anything - just go ahead, giving the results to the Divine. When I started practicing integral yoga a couple of decades ago, I didn’t particularly count on any serious results of advancing along the path of the Evolution of Consciousness in this life, at best, in the next. The reality of my life (its intangible part) turned out to be much more fantastic than I could imagine then.

4. Be creative - create and try! I will only note that some problems should not be solved directly on the forehead (again, resistance may sometimes arise), but by roundabout ways, even if it takes more time.

5. You should not wait for the next Monday to take care of yourself, your development. For example, you can listen to the Universe, meditate on the koan at any time. The rest is excuses and self-deception. If you are looking for excuses for your slowdown, then purposeful self-development is not relevant for you now. At least just enjoy your current life :)

Fragment 3.3 Methods of self-development: stop internal dialogue

Often during my practice, I was approached with the question "how to stop the internal dialogue?". And although there are a great many ways described in the literature, sometimes, for some reason, the seeker still finds it difficult. Once I already posted material on this topic here (look at the "zero point" tag). However, as they say, repetition is the mother of learning.
So here is a new version of the generalization of my practice of establishing the silence of the mind / entering the zero point / stopping the internal dialogue :) I will only note that all the exercises described below are more the result of my experiments twenty years ago, and not ready-made recipes from books.

1. When I started practicing the first meditations in 1992, I did not try to stop the internal dialogue. Instead, during meditation, I simply focused on relaxing visualizations. Most often, I swam like a dolphin in the ocean, getting great pleasure from it.
I did visualization every day before going to bed, lying on my side, and then also in the morning - before getting out of bed. This is me to the fact that for the development of meditation (stopping the internal dialogue) special conditions are not needed: the lotus position, a straight spine and other useless surroundings. All you need is desire, systematic training and time :)
2. In addition, I started meditating by reading the book "Sri Aurobindo, or the Journey of Consciousness", which in itself is capable of immersing me in a meditative state.
3. For some time I was meditating on the koans of Zen Buddhism from the book Zen Flesh and Bone.
4. Below I will give some useful, in my opinion, exercises that I found, rather intuitively and aimed at learning to track the evaluative activity of the mind.

For a week or so, I was engaged in the fact that I discarded all thoughts with a negative emotional connotation. After a week, thinking becomes much more transparent, more structured.

Then, for some more time, I was engaged in discarding the assessment of the people I met along the way (on the way to the institute, in transport, etc.) - how they look.

Usually a person does not notice how he evaluates everything around - this also takes a lot of energy. Learn to "look" not at the object/object/person, but through it and beyond it. If you practice hard enough, then gradually your perception, as well as vision, will be rebuilt. Thanks to such a transformation, it is possible, for example, to talk with a person about everyday things, at the same time, if necessary, to make contact with his being to exchange information.

Another way: look at yourself, your mind from the outside. At the same time, I kind of "stand" behind me, thus developing an internal observer. The presence of a developed inner observer later helped me a lot in achieving other, much more difficult goals of self-development.

You can try to look from different parts of yourself. For a while, I practiced "looking" out of my belly or heart, as if my eyes were there. The effects were very interesting :)

To calm the turbulent thought process, one should learn to quickly "forget" the unpleasant moments of our daily life, which our undisciplined mind loves to chew on, sometimes for years and decades. For a month, probably (maybe more), I got up every morning and imagined that I had just appeared on Earth. And to consolidate the effect, she imagined a white brick wall behind her. She took (mentally) a step from it every morning, leaving all the memories of the previous day behind this very wall, not allowing herself to return to them unnecessarily. Many are afraid to do this practice, believing that it will weaken their ability to remember. However, it is not. The most necessary, including memories, I draw, as they say, from the air - I read from the information field. It has already become a habit, it has become part of my nature, so that the usual ways of remembering are no longer relevant for me.

5. Another good exercise is to listen to the Universe, as if to listen to its quiet voice. At the same time, it is even better if at the time of meditation there is a load in the form of everyday sound background.

6. You can also meditate according to the ancient Chinese principle "Have no place to dwell in yourself" - one of my favorite exercises. Now, in order to restore my strength, it is enough for me to mentally “take out” my center of attention (consciousness) outside the body for 20-30 minutes in a lying position, not allowing it to return.
I can't help but keep quoting

Reiki is a very harmonious, thoughtful and safe system: first you restore your body, and then, gradually, you open up to ever greater energies and possibilities. When you practice Reiki, you don't waste your energy or life force. Reiki practice does not require any equipment, a special room, or accessories. All you need is your hands and some time. Once learned, knowledge and skills are retained throughout life.

It can be learned and then practiced by anyone. It does not require special knowledge, conditions, there are no restrictions on health, degree of talent and education.

Reiki (Reiki) is translated from Japanese as universal, universal, cosmic energy.

Every person undoubtedly wants to be happy, healthy and successful. And this is his undoubted right. But not everyone is ready to move from the desire to have it to real actions to achieve a state of happiness and health. If you are not ready to pay attention to yourself, time (at least 30 minutes a day) - this practice is not for you.

We are used to complaining about fate, life, circumstances, environment, instead of getting out of the state of the Victim and becoming an Adult. It's very convenient to be a victim...

Reiki is a real opportunity, literally and figuratively, to "take control of your life."

Reiki is a paradoxical tradition: on the one hand, it is extremely simple, on the other hand, it has inexhaustible depth and subtlety; it is perhaps older than mankind and at the same time in its current form is about 100 years old.

Sometimes we hear from people that Reiki (Reiki) did not help them. Having practiced Reiki for several years, including as a master, I can say with confidence that I have never seen a case when Reiki did not work. Just in this case, a person is offered a unique opportunity to really change his life and eliminate the cause of the problem. Treat this situation as a blessing, an opportunity for development. Let's look at the reasons why Reiki "doesn't work".

There are destructions of the body that can no longer be restored: a removed or destroyed organ, or another treatment is required to restore them. For example, you can relieve a toothache with the help of Reiki, but if the tooth is destroyed, then you cannot do without a visit to the dentist. Or, if the person has arterial bleeding, first clamp the artery or apply a tourniquet, and only then begin to do Reiki.

A person is shown that it is necessary to pay increased attention to this place of the body or to this area of life, to which this area of the body or organ corresponds. So, for example, a duodenal ulcer most often indicates problems in relationships with a partner of the opposite sex (wife, husband, loved ones). Deal with these problems, otherwise the ulcer will continue to worsen until you eliminate its cause.

Reiki activates the "inner healer" mechanism, which directs energy to those places, the healing of which at the moment is more necessary than those that we want to cure. For example, (a case from real life) a person does Reiki for himself so that his hip joints do not hurt, his pressure, sleep, pain in his hands normalize, and only then shifts with joints begin. Just trust the wisdom of Reiki and let it do what matters most to you right now.

The disease is caused by a cause that a person is not going to eliminate or does not see. To give a simple example, every day you bump your forehead against a nail in the wall and injure yourself. You have a miraculous ointment that completely heals the wound in a day. But the next day you hit the nail again. And apply ointment. And again you stumble ... After a month, you can either conclude that the ointment does not help, or notice the nail, remove it and stop bumping into it.

Another reason is that: the need for attention from others, the justification of one’s desire not to do something (“I can’t, I’m sick”), protection from reality, convenience in interacting with society, or another reason.

This disease is given to man for another purpose. For example, a person long and stubbornly goes the wrong way, ignores the signs and warnings of the subtle world or his soul. Then the Higher powers can put him to bed in order to stop him, not to let him into a dangerous place. Thus, in this case, the disease is given for the benefit of a person, although he does not understand this.

Reiki takes time to work. There is a Chinese formula that states that it takes twice as long to heal an ailment than it took from the onset of the disease to the start of treatment. Of course, this formula is conditional and not always fair. However, if you have been nurturing the disease for a long time, driving the pain inside for years, then it takes time to restore the impaired function, sometimes quite a long time.

What you are doing is not Reiki, but the use of personal energy. A person brings a desire to help, a desire to eliminate a problem, a desire to cure, and instead of Reiki energy, he works on his personal strength and energy, which may either be insufficient, or this is not the energy that is needed in this case (not the right spectrum).

Undoubtedly, there are other reasons for the external "inefficiency" of Reiki. Think of Reiki not as a miracle, but as a powerful tool for changing yourself and your life in the direction of joy and happiness. Thus, if you do Reiki for any illness or problem and “do not see” an obvious result, go deeper, understand the reason why it did not work, increase your attention to your life. You will always find the cause and get a development that is much greater than in the case when the pain is gone under your arms.

Purpose:

The audiovisual program (session) "Stopping the Internal Dialogue" is designed to form at the subconscious level the ability to stop the internal dialogue at will at any time. The Stop Internal Dialogue program is non-sexual, meaning it can be used by both men and women.

Description:

What is an internal dialogue? Internal dialogue is a term in psychology that describes the process of continuous internal communication of a person with himself. Internal dialogue is the result of the presence inside the consciousness of several subjects of communication at once. Internal dialogue, from the point of view of psychology, is the interaction of different ego-states of a person (inner child, inner adult and inner parent).

The internal dialogue is a tool with which a person creates and fixes his picture of the world, which makes him immune or weakly receptive to new information. Whatever the internal dialogue is, it primarily affects the degree of awareness and attention. The ever-mumbling brain instantly clings to any thought and imperceptibly takes a person into the jungle of thoughts that have nothing to do with the case and are a waste of time. We often do everyday things purely mechanically, while listening to the tales of our internal dialogue.

Among other things, the body spends about 20% of free energy per day on maintaining an internal dialogue, which could be spent more rationally.

As mentioned above, internal dialogue is a very energy-intensive process. It’s one thing when we comprehend or look for a solution to a problem, it’s another thing when we chew on yesterday, old grievances, anxieties, think out conversations, scold ourselves, prove something to others, and so on.

Constantly chatting inside ourselves, we build a picture of the world and rigidly fix it. We explain to ourselves why the world is the way it is, we add new impressions, sensations, we build schemes. This is undoubtedly useful, but there is also a downside to the coin. In addition to the fact that internal dialogue is a constant drain of energy, it also prevents us from gaining new knowledge and acquiring new opportunities. This is due to the fact that through internal dialogue we form a picture of the world in which we live. And it happens that we cannot rationally explain some things (for example, superpowers), because they do not fit into our picture of the world, formed by internal dialogue. And, therefore, we subconsciously deny these abilities (or knowledge). And if we deny it, then we cannot possess them.

Why stop the internal dialogue?

Stopping the internal dialogue can be useful in a hundred different ways, but we will outline four of the most common.

First, the internal dialogue is stopped to achieve a state of complete relaxation. Stopping the internal dialogue contributes to a complete rest of the body and enlightenment of the head.

Secondly, stopping the internal dialogue contributes to the development of global, holistic thinking. Thinking in images and feelings, not words.

Thirdly, stopping the internal dialogue is used by those who practice out-of-body experience (in other words, exits to the astral plane) and dreamers to initiate lucid dreams.

And finally, stopping the internal dialogue is an integral part of mastering any superpowers (telekinesis, clairvoyance, telepathy, etc.).

Material from the Chaparral Encyclopedia

Stopping the internal dialogue(eng. stopping the internal dialogue; abbr. ATS):

The first action of the teacher is to instill <ученику> the idea that the world we know is only an appearance, a description of the world (view, a description of the world). Every effort of the teacher is aimed at proving this to his student. But accepting this idea is the most difficult thing in the world. We are completely taken over (complacently caught - trapped in complacency) its private view of the world, and this makes us feel and act as if we knew everything about the world. The teacher from the very first action is aimed at stopping this look. Magicians call it stopping the internal dialogue, and they are convinced that this is the single most important technique that the student must master.

Target

Inner silence

I asked to explain how the process of maintaining (the act of walking) assembly points. He said that in the presence of inner silence (attained inner silence by stopping their internal dialogue - once inner silence has been achieved by stopping the inner dialogue) the factor that captures the assemblage point is not so much the look of the force's gait as its sound. The rhythm of soft steps instantly attracts (catches - grabs) force of adjustment of internal emanation, which was released (disconnected) through inner silence.

This force immediately clings to the edges of the strip,” don Juan continued. - On the right edge, we find endless visions of physical activity, violence, murder, sensual manifestations. On the left side - spirituality, religiosity, everything connected with God. Genaro and I took your assemblage point from end to end (walked your assemblage point to both edges - led the assembly point to both edges) to give you an idea of the whole pile of human rubbish in general (human junk pile).

Don Juan assured me that the threshold of silent knowledge was the state of human perception which the sorcerers called inner silence, a state in which there are no thoughts and that silent verbalization that sorcerers call internal dialogue.
Don Juan said that a weight placed in any of the three areas mentioned above will activate all the energy fields that a person has, which leads to an instant cessation of the internal dialogue - and this is the first step towards internal silence.

Dream

TA: The book The Art of Dreaming lays out the whole structure of the dreaming process according to our tradition. It is described there in great detail. I just want to say that there are many different stages or gates of dreaming that you go through. What you have just described has similarities with some of these stages of dreaming.

The first thing you should do is recapitulate (recapitulate). However, it's not the fast process you describe where you just render and dump everything. In recapitulation, you must take every situation, every memory, every experience in your life, because it is a fabric, an interweaving. (is trapped in really a tissue), cellular/molecular structure (cellular level) in which your energy is captured (energy is trapped). The further we go back to the details, the more we free (release) in our, so to speak, "physical" bodies. We are not interested in the astral itself, or the energy body. First of all, we want to clear the memories that condition (trigger our behavior) our behavior in everyday life.

Next, relaxation, the first stage of dreaming. You gotta relax - it's the twilight zone between sleep (asleep) and wakefulness (awake). You must let go of your memory of the physical body. If the physical body and mind are full of emotionally charged memories, if you cannot stop your internal dialogue you won't even be able to relax and move on into the dream state. In this way, everything works together, recapitulation gives you the opportunity to dream, focusing your concentration. (by focusing your concentration) allowing your physical body to let go (release) all those charged emotions and let them be empty and flowing (allowing it to be empty and fluid).

Then, when you let go, you can start dreaming while you sleep. For this you need Perceptual Control (control of what your perception is) which you<развиваете>through the search for hands or any other object (in the room) in a dream. It is extremely difficult if you have not sharpened your concentration and your energy body, awareness of your energy body. (the awareness of your energy body).

Achievement

Accumulation of moments of silence in the process of active life

<Сталкеры>start here, right where any of you are. That's where they start. And they start with their inventory and their place (their list and their place), they sweep away their past, then they make themselves inwardly calm (quiet internally), so that they stop accumulating garbage (debris - fragments, fragments) using certain types of gaze (gazing - gaze)- I'm not talking about any acrobatics or anything like that - these are just some magical passes that are passed down from generation to generation (handed down - have been passed down). Or just sitting quietly - you don't even have to call it meditation - just turning off the internal dialogue. And you prolong these moments of silence. And then you get the power that comes from absolute silence (sheer silence). This alone allows the assemblage point to move from its everyday state to a state of heightened awareness. (heightened awareness). It is the ability to extend silence to whatever you do.

Omitted by the translator:

Then, that "s when the practitioner--you don"t even have to call them sorcerers-- that"s when they enter heightened awareness. It"s when they have that ability to have the silence extend itself into whatever they"re doing.

The practitioner (you don't even have to call him a sorcerer) enters heightened awareness when he gains the ability to extend silence to everything he does.

And you are active. Whatever you do - do your job, drive a car - you do it in a state of silence (do it silently) because you have no thought of encroaching on you (the idea of the self impinging - supposedly "self-impinging" has a philosophical or psychological interpretation in the sense of the idea of a false ego, self-conditioning, self-reflection or self-absorption). And of course you use the petty tyrants of this world because it's good, so keep remembering (you"ve recapitulated)... and I must say that this should not be just one recollection ... in fact it is an ongoing process, because after you are done with all the sexual encounters, you will have to do this with everyone with whom you happened to meet in your life.

Energy and recapitulation

For dreaming, magicians use sexual energy and it is transformed in the energy body. What everyone starts with is basic energy. So we're talking about recapitulation (recapitulation)- the process of recovering energy that was spent and still captured in the past. Everyone should make a list of their sexual contacts because<в них находится>basic energy that they can use to perform magical feats, such as dreaming or gaining inner silence (internal silence). If you don't have energy, you won't be able to realize silence. It sounds like a contradiction, but no, our internal dialogue is something that has been turned on and it goes-go-go and it takes energy to turn it off. It is the driving mechanism that keeps social structures and the movement of the social order going.

Apply Will and Develop Intention

The internal dialogue is stopped by the same thing it started with: by the action of the will. After all, we are forced to start an internal conversation with ourselves under the pressure of those who teach us. When they teach us, they use their will. And we use ours in the learning process. It's just that neither they nor we are aware of this. By learning to talk to ourselves, we learn to control the will. It is our will to talk to ourselves. And in order to stop internal conversations, we should use the same method: apply will to it, develop an appropriate intention.

Hearing the sounds of the world

I began to practice "listening to the sounds of the world." Don Juan told me to practice this for two months. It was excruciatingly difficult to listen and not look, but the struggle with internal conversation. However, by the end of the second month, I learned to stop it, however, for very short periods of time, and also pay attention to sounds.

gait of power

At the beginning of our acquaintance, don Juan suggested to me another technique for this: to walk for a long time with unfocused eyes, using only peripheral vision. He claimed that if you keep your unfocused eyes on a point just above the horizon, you get an almost complete 190-degree view. He insisted that this exercise was the only way to stop the internal dialogue.

Use your ears

How can I stop talking to myself?

Primarily, you have to use your ears to take some of the load off your eyes. From birth, we have used our eyes to judge the world. We talk to others and to ourselves mainly about what we see. The warrior is aware of this and listens to the sounds of the world.

I set aside my notes. Don Juan laughed and said that he had no intention of forcing a result on me. What listening to the sounds of the world must be harmonious and patient (had to be done harmoniously and with great patience).

Contemplation

The Nagual taught us close contemplation. He never explained to us what he actually does. He simply taught us to contemplate. We never knew that gazing is one way to catch our second attention.

<...>When you can stop the world, you have become a contemplative. And since the only way to achieve the stopping of the world is to constantly try, the Nagual made us contemplate the dry leaves for years and years. I think this is the best way to achieve second attention. He combined staring at dry leaves with looking for hands in his sleep. It took me about a year to find my hands and four years to stop the world. The Nagual said that when you catch your second attention with dry leaves, you start dreaming to expand it.

Ideomotor memory

In don Juan's opinion, the benefits of doing long groups were quite obvious: such a practice made novice shamans use ideomotor memory. This effect was discovered by shamans quite by accident and gave excellent results: he suppressed the noises of consciousness, or internal dialogue.

<...>Don Juan's disciples spent many years in a state of constant confusion and complete depression: it seemed to them simply unfair to suddenly, without prior preparation, bombard them with so much information - it was like stabbing them in the back.

I once asked don Juan what was the point of such a "shock" method of teaching, and received the following explanation in reply: "In teaching you the magical passes," he said, "I use the traditional sorcerer's technique of putting a veil over your linear thinking. By forcing you to focus on your ideomotor memory, I pave the way for you to inner silence..

Erasing personal history and dreaming

He said that there are two main activities used to speed up the effect of stopping the internal dialogue: erasing personal history and dreaming.

Tensegrity: three points

Lying on their backs, they would place these objects at certain points on their stomachs, the very points through which the energy of the tendons passed. The first point was just below the navel, the second - exactly in the navel area, and the third - in the area of the solar plexus. However, problems arose here too: stones and similar objects had to be heated or cooled to the temperature of the human body, and, in addition, they usually slipped and shifted because they were too hard.

Practitioners of Tensegrity have found a perfect equivalent to the primitive devices of the shamans of ancient Mexico: they began to use a pair of round balls and a small, flat, rounded leather weight. The balls were the same size as the fruits used by ancient magicians, but unlike them, they were not as fragile, as they were made of a Teflon mixture reinforced with ceramics. This gives the balls weight, strength, and smoothness, making them suitable for the purposes of magical passes. Another device, a leather weight, proved to be ideal for sustained pressure on tendon energy centers. Unlike stones, a leather weight is quite plastic and can take on the contours of the adjacent body area. The leather shell allows you to immediately apply it to the body, without preheating or cooling. But the most important quality of a weight is weight. The weight is light enough not to cause discomfort when exerting pressure on the energy centers located on the stomach, and at the same time has enough weight to be useful in performing some magical passes that help achieve inner silence. Don Juan said that a weight placed in any of the three areas mentioned above activates all the energy fields that a person has, which leads to an instant cessation of the internal dialogue - and this is the first step to internal silence. Modern devices by their nature fall into two categories. In accordance with them, the passes of the sixth series are also divided into two categories.

Darkness

Inner silence was the state that the shamans of ancient Mexico passionately sought to achieve. Don Juan defined it as a natural state of human perception, in which mental activity is turned off and all human abilities are based on a level of consciousness that does not require the use of our usual system of cognition of the surrounding world. It has always been associated by the shamans of don Juan's line with darkness - perhaps because, deprived of its usual companion, internal dialogue, human perception, as it were, falls into a deep dark pit. At the same time, the human body functions as usual, and awareness is extremely sharpened. Decisions come instantly; they seem to be based on a special kind of knowledge that does not need mental pronunciation.

Meditation in the everyday world

HE: You were a Buddhist monk for several years. Have you tracked down the position of the Buddhist man? (You stalked the position of a male Buddhist monk)

TA: There are many, many meditation techniques and monks... not necessarily Buddhists... Zen... (possible interruptions due to poor audio quality)...their goal is peace within (quiet inside). Before<этими техниками>I had already completed the recapitulation of my life and some of the not-doing techniques, so I was able to track down (stalk) these positions, but this does not mean that if you practice Zen meditation, then you will not be able to calm (quiet) your inner dialogue.

There are many meditation techniques that turn off (shut off) internal dialogue, but this is not enough. Silence inside (quiet inside) that's good, but what happens when you get back to work and you're surrounded by people and your angry boss or at home your kids or other people are yelling at you? Do you want to have silence (silence), calmness (equanimity - equanimity, composure) and resolve any situation, therefore<при обучении>we were always sent back to the work environment where we would practice calming the internal dialogue.

Not only sitting in zazen (zazen) or in a cave you can practice meditation, because I know and talked to Buddhist monks, Tibetan monks who used to come to Los Angeles and they say it's very hard to keep calm. This is what they say in China. When the Chinese climbed into the Taoist temples in the mountains and turned the place into a tourist destination, the monks say that now that peace has entered their area, some of the silence has been shattered. (silence) that was built.

Magicians say "Build silence (silence) not on top of a mountain, but within oneself" - this is what calming the internal dialogue means for us.

Connections

Connection with will and intent

I told him that I was fully aware that I had, in general, managed to stop internal conversations with myself. But I had no idea how it happened. If you asked me what actions I achieved this, I would be at a loss to answer.

The explanation is simplicity itself, don Juan said. - It was an expression of your will. Thus, you formed a new intention, a new team. Well, then your team became the team of the Eagle.

This is the most extraordinary of the finds of the new seers. Our teams can become Eagle teams.

We were silent for several minutes. Then I asked who he meant by the teachers who taught us to have an internal dialogue.

I was talking about what happens to a human being in infancy,” don Juan replied. - At this time, everyone around him teaches him to have an ongoing dialogue about him. Gradually, this dialogue goes inside and turns into a factor that fixes the assemblage point in its original position.

According to the seers, each child is surrounded by hundreds of teachers who teach him exactly where to fix the assemblage point.

Connection with dreams

The explanation of the sorcerers regarding the choice of theme for a dream is as follows, don Juan said. - A warrior chooses a topic consciously, interrupting the internal dialogue and keeping the image in his head.
One evening we sat down and discussed as much as we could about everything we knew about dreams. It soon became clear that there were several key themes to which don Juan attached particular importance.

First of all, it is the act of dreaming itself. It seems to begin as a very special state of awareness, which you arrive at by focusing the remnant of consciousness you still have in the dream on particular features or elements of the dream. This remnant of consciousness, which don Juan called the "second attention," was brought into play or harnessed to work by the exercise of "not-doing." We thought that an essential aid to dreaming was a state of mental stillness, which don Juan called "stopping the internal dialogue" or "not doing self-talk." To teach me how to do this, he used to have me increase my peripheral vision. This method was effective on two fronts at once. He allowed me to stop my internal dialogue and he trained my attention. By forcing me to concentrate on the periphery of my visual field, don Juan increased my ability to focus for long periods of time on one single activity.

Later, when I became successful in concentrating, I could spend hours doing some tedious work without distraction, which I had not been able to before.

Association with the assemblage point

it is the internal dialogue that fixes the assemblage point in its original position
- Position the assemblage point on the human cocoon is maintained through internal dialogue. Therefore, this position is, at best, not very strong. Now it is clear why many men and women go crazy so easily, especially those whose internal dialogue constantly revolves around the same things, as a result of which it is dreary and lacks depth.

The new seers say that the most flexible and resilient human beings are those whose inner dialogue is more fluid and varied.

The position of the warrior's assemblage point is immeasurably stronger, because, having begun to move in the cocoon, the assemblage point creates a depression in the luminosity, in which it remains from that moment on.

I have always been interested in the question: where to get the force of the primary push, which would knock the assemblage point out of its original position. When I asked don Juan about this earlier, he used to say that everything is determined by the universal power of alignment, so intention is what makes the assemblage point move.

Now I asked him the same question again. He replied:

You are now in a position to answer your own question. The initial impulse to the assemblage point is communicated through the art of mastering awareness. Ultimately, not much depends on us - human beings. After all, we, in fact, are just an assemblage point fixed in a certain position. Our internal dialogue is our inventory- our enemy and at the same time - our friend. Take an inventory, and then throw the compiled list in the trash. New seers take inventories very seriously and make their lists with extreme care. In order to then laugh at these lists. If there is no inventory, the assemblage point becomes free.

Communication with earth push

once the assemblage point overcomes a certain critical threshold, the result is the same for any person. Techniques that shift it can be infinitely varied. But the result is always the same: the assemblage point collects other worlds with the help of the earth's push.

Is the earth's push the same for everyone?

Quite right. The problem of an ordinary person is an internal dialogue. Ground Push can only be used once a state of absolute inner silence has been reached. This is an indisputable truth, and you will certainly make sure of it when one day you yourself try to take advantage of the earth's jolt.

But I wouldn't advise you to try, Genaro said sincerely. “It takes years to become a perfect warrior. Now you are not ready to withstand the jolt of the earth. You need to change a lot for the better.

The speed of this push will dissolve everything that you are in you,” don Juan said. - Under its influence, we turn into nothing. Speed and personal self-awareness cannot coexist. Yesterday at the summit, Genaro and I supported you. We served as anchors. Otherwise, you would not have returned. You would be like those people who deliberately went into the unknown, taking advantage of the earth's jolt. To this day they roam somewhere out there, in this incomprehensible infinity.

Connection with vision

...people will pass my window of vision very quickly. Don Juan then told me to relax all my muscles, turn off the internal dialogue, and let go of the assemblage point.

Dialogos

How is conditioning encoded or defined or represented in the mind? The stream of thought. We are fixed by the flow of affective thinking that stems from the doublethink that stems from the fixedness of TS. What needs to be done first? Try to slow down this flow of thoughts by not doing. The term “stopping the internal dialogue” immediately arises.

The word "dialogue" needs some explanation, because in a tusovka "internal dialogue" is an internal conversation. The guys think that if they stop talking inside, then the TS will immediately move and they will become masters of magic and experts in the nagual. In order for the internal conversation to stop faster, they periodically take drugs - this is their magic. Let's see if these magnificent intellectuals and practitioners are digging in the right direction?

The word dialogue consists of two parts "dia" - two and "logos" - thought, word, meaning, broad interpretation. Dialogos from Greek is doublethink, doublethink, doubleknowledge, and ultimately: duality. To stop the internal dialogue in the CC codes means to stop doublethink, duality, to stop the schizotypal situation: sluggish anonistic fantasies and unfortunate behavioral twitching. ATS is not just stopping some flow of thinking or internal conversation with yourself, it is the exclusion of the wrong view in your head on the basis of which you are dreaming. And an attempt to take a fresh look at the reality in which you are, to rethink it. What is it with KK? Castaneda calls this re-inventory of the tonal.

ATS is not an interruption of internal conversations, not a tendency to suppress thinking, not euphoric states with the help of drugs. This is the stop of doublethink, that is, the schizotypal situation in the very first simple sense. Thus, the situation of ignorance is eliminated - one of the very first tasks. Ignorance about what? About the fact that you are in a schizotypal situation. You need to start with the simplest.

Elimination of the permanent division into object and subject

Internal dialogue is the essence of the tonal. What is a tonal? The tonal is a film, a spot before the eyes, between the inner emanations that meet with the outer emanations. What we have inside is the inner unconscious, nagual, psychic, will in the philosophical sense, our radiation, our energy. All we can say about her is that she has configurations. What are configurations? For example, we say "this is a cup" - so we do not say that this is a cup, we say that this is "not a spoon" - this statement is the tonal. This is logic.

Our consciousness, our thinking, is a logical structure that arises from the interaction of internal emanations with external ones. The dispatching function of consciousness is internal dialogue. "Internal dialogue", the very word dialogue, it seems to indicate the division in consciousness into an object and a subject.

The exception in the reasoning of the division into subject and object requires specific training. This is yoga. And the stop of internal articulation is the stop of naming - it's not quite the stop of the internal dialogue.

Dialogue is an interaction between internal and external emanations and a dispatching function from above, it says: this is an object, this is a subject, this is me, this is not me. The elimination of the constant division into object and subject is stop internal dialogue.

Hello, friends.

Today we will talk about turning off the internal dialogue, get acquainted with such a concept as stopping the internal dialogue, what it will give us in terms of improving health and finding happiness. Read, it will be interesting, you will learn a lot of new things for yourself.

What is internal dialogue

Many people, when they hear about stopping the internal dialogue (or they also say ATS), imagine stopping thoughts. But in fact, internal dialogue is a broader concept. It includes not only our thoughts, but also feelings, emotions and perceptions. We can say that this is our whole psyche. When we truly stop the VD, we stop not only thoughts, but also the work of the entire psyche. But it can be said differently. Stopping the internal dialogue is broken down into stages. First, we stop thoughts, then feelings and emotions, after the deeper layers of the psyche and the ordinary perception of the world. And the deeper and better the ATS, the deeper layers of the psyche we stop. And stopping thoughts, feelings and emotions is only the first stages.

But we will consider ATS precisely as stopping thoughts, feelings and emotions. For our purposes in terms of improving health and finding happiness, this is quite enough. A deeper stop is already an advanced practice used for other purposes.

Therefore, below I will consider the VD in this way. The techniques that I will give are aimed at such a result. But I repeat, this will be enough for you to change your life for the better.

Why stop the internal dialogue

If our thoughts and emotions are constantly working and never stop, then this will greatly deplete the body and even lead to illness.

The thing is that for such work a lot of energy resources are spent. In order to stop the waste of energy, nature provides for the internal dialogue to periodically stop itself. For these purposes, there is a dream. Also, when we are fatigued, stupidity leans on us, when we don’t want to think about anything or react emotionally. , spleen or a low level of mental response, all this is the protection of the body with a greatly reduced energy of the body.

But the fact is that the human psyche is so much out of control and began to work incorrectly that sleep can no longer fully restore the body and put things in order in the head. The saying "the morning is wiser than the evening" is no longer relevant. In theory, we should rest at night and make decisions in the morning with clean brains. But, I repeat, sleep is no longer able to fully restore our strength.

Out of control, the psyche not only exhausts us, but often drives us into depression, phobias, panic attacks, or all sorts of obsessive thoughts that are difficult to get rid of.

All this is so tiring that there is no strength left for a normal life. Internal dialogue, its obsessive thoughts, interfere with a normal life.

If you think that you are doing well, you do not have depression or other psychological problems, then you are mistaken. There are problems, you just got used to them so much that you consider them the norm of life. We are all constantly dissatisfied with something, often nervous, offended by trifles, we cannot stand the stresses of life. We often quarrel with loved ones and colleagues at work. For the sake of their selfish goals, they are ready to go to meanness. We all have some kind of fears that have settled in our heads and programs inspired by the system that do not allow us to live normally and breathe freely to the fullest.

We are on the verge of reduced vital energy. Yes, the energy of most people is underestimated due to uncontrolled and enhanced internal dialogue, and this is considered the norm.

It's just that people don't know the other state.

If they learned to stop their obsessive, uncontrollable internal dialogue, put their psyche under control, then their life would improve a thousand times. The spent health would return, vital energy would increase, relationships with people would improve. The psycho-emotional sphere would improve, there would be more positive emotions. And the increase in vital energy would be manifested by the fact that we would have more time in life and do everything easily and naturally. And there are many such bonuses, all due to the fact that the energy that was previously spent on the wrong work of the psyche would return to us and change us for the better. I think I convinced you why you need to learn to stop the internal dialogue, because the consequences, the results of such practice are only positive.

But if there is no internal dialogue at all, then this is also bad. It needs to be stopped only for a while so that the body recovers.

But after the stop, there will already be a normal internal dialogue.

How to stop the internal dialogue

Let's look at simple but effective techniques for stopping internal dialogue.

Sit down, close your eyes and relax. It doesn't matter what your posture will be, the main thing is that you feel comfortable. But it is better that you do not lie down, otherwise a strong relaxation may occur.

Set yourself up for the fact that you leave all external worries, problems and deal only with yourself.

Bring your attention inward. Try to look at your thoughts from the outside. Here they appear, dissolve, are replaced by others. Don't fight them, let them live their lives. You are separate, they are separate.

You may notice all sorts of mundane thoughts that you've never looked at from the side before because you've been merged with them. "I forgot to go to the store today. How tired I am of problems at work. Again I got rude, I feel bad. Tomorrow I will have to do it ...". And everything like that.

But now you are watching them, disidentifying with them. In addition to thoughts, feelings and emotions can also appear before your eyes. Also watch them. Don't fight them, just watch quietly. Practice this for a few minutes. The bigger, the better.

Then calmly, in a relaxed manner, bring your attention back to your body. Try to cover the whole body at once with your inner eye. Our attention, our brain cannot simultaneously think about something and at the same time look at something, contemplate intently. Especially to contemplate several objects at once, several parts of the body. If we carefully, without being distracted, look at the whole body at once, the internal dialogue will subside or even stop completely. The main thing is to do it calmly and relaxed.

You will also notice that some thoughts begin to creep into our heads again. This internal dialogue wants to turn on again and capture us, our attention. You just need to catch yourself on the fact that we are thinking again, and not looking at the body, look at the thoughts in a relaxed way from the side, without fighting them, and again turn our attention to the body. In fact, everything is easy. The main thing is to overcome the habit of constantly thinking and learning, just for the time of practice, to look at your thoughts and emotions from the outside.

Try to turn off the internal dialogue in this way to start at least 5-10 minutes. And for best results, then the time can be increased to 20 minutes.

If you do everything right, you will notice how you have come to the silence of the mind, to calmness and peace. It will become easy on the soul, bad thoughts will dissolve, stress will fade away. This state is the key to health and happiness.

Now you know how to stop the internal dialogue in your head, a small session of such an exercise is enough to relax after a hard day's work, regain strength, and forget about everyday problems.

Stopping the Inner Dialogue with the Inner Sound Listening Technique

If you do not know how to stop the internal dialogue, there is a great way. It is the concentration on the so-called internal sound in the head. Such a stop of the internal dialogue is used in such ancient systems as yoga and qigong. If we move away from external sounds, turn our attention inward and listen, we will hear a background sound inside our head.

This may be a barely audible hiss, hum, whistle, or other sound. The main thing is to catch it with attention for the first time, to hear it, the next time you can easily find it. And if you listen to it for a long time, without being distracted by thoughts, the inner sound will become clear, loud, well helping to stop thoughts and emotions.

Here the mechanism is the same. As soon as the internal dialogue tries to turn on again, catch yourself thinking again, calmly transfer your attention to the internal sound and continue to listen to it. Focusing on the inner sound is very good at stopping the mental and emotional flow.

How to get rid of the internal dialogue with yourself through observation

As I said before, if our attention is focused on something, whether we are listening carefully, looking at something, or feeling with our body, then we cannot simultaneously think or emotionally react. In this case, the psyche simply does not have resources, energy supply.

On this law of nature, many techniques have been created to stop the internal dialogue.

You can just break away from everyday affairs during the day, finally escape from the constant fuss of restless thoughts and take a look at what surrounds us. It doesn't matter what to look at and where, whether it's an office space, a home room or a street landscape.

Look carefully at the objects around you, notice every little thing in them, try not to miss anything. I assure you, you will definitely see something new in your everyday environment, you will be surprised that you did not notice it before. Do not be distracted by thoughts, observe and observe again.

Thoughts will try to settle in your head again, just calmly transfer your attention back to the objects around you. Negative thoughts and emotions will subside, and you will achieve calm peace and stillness of the mind. It is better if you take a walk in the fresh air and in this way enjoy the beauty of nature. It will be a great rest after a hard day's work.

Also use the skill of close observation wherever possible.

For example, when you eat, you do not need to rush, quickly swallow food. This will lead to gastrointestinal problems. Eat mindfully. Slowly feel the pleasant taste of food in time. While swallowing, imagine how food has entered the stomach for your benefit, and energy is filled inside the stomach to digest it.

When you take a shower (better), you do not need to procrastinate thoughts about the events of the past day. It is better to observe the sensations in the body, how it reacts to water. How jets of water touch you, how it flows down your body.

All this will help to reduce and even completely stop the internal dialogue, which means achieving a healthy body and spirit in the future.

Try something different, be creative. The main thing is to grasp the state of peace that will come to you as a result of ATS. In the future, I assure you, you will like it, you will easily succeed in any practice of stopping the internal dialogue.

I have given the most famous and not difficult techniques to stop the internal dialogue. In fact, there are a lot of ways and methods to stop the internal dialogue. But remember, it's not about the number of techniques, it's about the quality of stopping and calming the mind. One or two techniques are enough, but applied regularly and in sufficient volumes (at least 10-20 minutes), so that your life changes for the better. Strength and health will gradually return to you. The energy previously wasted by your restless thoughts and negative emotions will be returned to your body, as well as changing you and your life.

The main thing is to achieve a state of silence of the mind and. It is this state that contributes to the correct ATS. And then some try to stop thoughts with all their might, coming to even greater tension. To achieve relaxation, you need to enter a state of non-doing, when we stop any attempts to change something in ourselves, achieve a stop, but simply humbly observe everything that happens inside our psyche.
