Personal evolution

Quote
"Oddly enough, life becomes cloudless and clear precisely when selfish pleasures and personal success stop leading people. When a person dissolves into a transcendent goal - creating beautiful poetry or excellent furniture, exploring the movement of galaxies or caring for the happiness of a child - he becomes invulnerable to everyday fears and difficulties.

Business plan 100%. Strategy and tactics of effective business

Quote
"There are many good guides to writing a business plan, but R. Abrams's is a step above the rest. It is a comprehensive and well-organized book, with handy forms and persuasive citations. Unlike other authors, Abrams presents a business plan as a tool planning, not as formulaic exercises. Nicely done."

What is this book about
Many people think that a business plan is only needed to satisfy investors and shareholders, and there is no practical benefit from it. This is the case with most business plans. But a well-written, carefully thought-out business plan is much more than that. This is a roadmap to help your team perform at its best. Making plans disciplines your thoughts and sets priorities. Your plan clearly and unambiguously defines objectives, values, strategy, and performance criteria. goals and main results. Planning is more important than a plan: if you study all aspects of your business, consider all the factors and trends that will either help you succeed or threaten your well-being, and if you ask yourself the hard questions, you will benefit immeasurably. In the process of creating a business plan, you will certainly change some aspects of your business - perhaps even the most significant ones. But it is much better to make mistakes on paper than to pay for them with real money and precious time.

Why the book is worth reading

  • Magazines Inc. and Forbes listed The 100% Business Plan as one of the 10 Most Important Books for Small Businesses.
  • The most authoritative book in the world on business planning, withstood 5 editions in the US.
  • Especially for the Russian audience, the publication was supplemented with examples of business plans of domestic companies.

"Majority practical guides entrepreneurship is not worth a penny. The Abrams book is a happy exception."

"The ideas and principles outlined in Abrams' book work. This has been proven by the invaluable experience of thousands of entrepreneurs and confirmed by the practice of well-known venture capital investors. Now it's your turn to take advantage of the lessons of Ronda. Join us!"

    Mikhail Lufanov,
    CEO Expert Systems

"I know several businesses that have been killed by the 'business plan'. More precisely, by the desire to write a detailed and ideal business plan instead of starting to work. In this regard, I ask you to especially pay attention to the fourth chapter on the summary and the phrase "If they don't get it right away, they never will. A business plan is a powerful weapon. Rhonda Abrams' book will teach you how to handle this weapon and make it effective and safe. Including for yourself."

    Mikhail Khomich,
Development Director of the Moscow State University Business Incubator, Head of the SKOLKOVO Mentors Association

"On the way to a successful business, only you are the biggest barrier! How many boats have crashed on the rocky shores of competition just because they rushed into this abyss without examining the fairway. The Russian mentality is such that business is built on the principle "The main thing is to get involved, and then Let's figure it out." Is it any wonder that 80% of businessmen go bankrupt in the first two years.
Up to a certain point, this principle was fully justified. Rampant inflation, ever-changing tax regimes and regulatory requirements, the growing needs of the target audience and the decline in purchasing power called into question the need for any business planning.
But now the "economic crisis" is in the yard, and everyone began to count money! Getting a bank loan or investment from a private person without a formalized business plan has become almost impossible. And this is good! After all, a clearly structured business plan helps eliminate many "fatal" errors that are not obvious at first glance.
Ronda Abrams' book could be indispensable assistant both for a student of an economic university and for the head of a large organization.
It describes in detail the principles of communication with investors, the successful presentation of your project. And this is already half the battle on the way to financing! After all, the rule "Meet by clothes, but see off by mind" has not been canceled.
Importantly, the author is one of the few who describes in detail the principles of working on the Internet and takes into account the impact social networks for development modern business. Dear readers, I urge you! Don't waste your future on litigation with creditors and bailiffs. Spend your present writing good business plan which in turn will help realize the most daring dreams."

    Anatoly Odintsov,
General Director of LLC "Arbat Group"

"The book walks you by the hand along the path of creating a quality business plan - from the first questions on assessing your market and formulating the mission of the business to creating a complete document with all the necessary sections that potential investors expect to see.
Conveniently, the book does not just provide a lot of theoretical material, but gives practical examples for each section of the business plan with very interesting comments.
Before reading this book, I believed that a startup did not need a business plan. Was wrong. Although, in fairness, it should be noted that many of the "traditional" sections of the business plan are still not very relevant for startups."

    Petr Tatishchev,
producer of the DEMO Europe conference,
co-director of the Moscow branch of The Founder Institute
