04/28/2017 Action "Day of Ecological Knowledge" "Nature heals. Medicinal plants»

Look around: how beautiful, wonderful world surrounds us. Forests, fields, rivers, seas, mountains, sky, sun, animals, plants. This is nature! One can talk endlessly about the beauty of Russian nature. She is generous and selfless. But in order to save, understand nature, you need to know it. To this end, older people, readers of the Kameevskaya rural library, joined the All-Russian campaign “Day of Ecological Knowledge” on the topic: “Nature heals. Medicinal plants". And on this topic, a fold-out book was issued.

Everything valuable to a person is usually compared with gold. Nature provides man with such a variety of gifts - "gold" - that it is difficult to even list them. Medicinal plants are of particular value for the preservation and strengthening of human health. From generation to generation, people passed on information about the healing properties of plants. "Journey to the Land of Medicinal Plants" first page our flip book. The guests learned a lot about medicinal plants that grow not only in the forest, in the fields and meadows of our vast Russia, but even near your yard you can find a lot useful plants. The presentation gave an opportunity to get acquainted with some of them personally.

Second page books was the presentation of the exhibition "Mother Nature for the treatment of the people", where
literature is presented that reveals the diversity of green giants, information about herbs, about useful and harmful indoor plants and about the rules for the collection and storage of medicinal plants.

Our third page devoted to the protection of wild medicinal plants. Endangered medicinal plants and rare species listed in the Red Books are under state protection. Rare species include plants, the number and range of which have a constant tendency to decrease.

At present, the Red Book species are: ginseng, high lure, safflower-like leuzea, Caucasian Dioscorea, yellow machok, belladonna belladonna and some types of orchis. In addition, about 40 species of medicinal plants are subject to strict protection and limited harvesting, including: May lily of the valley, spring adonis, large-flowered foxglove and other plants. It is prohibited to harvest raw materials without a special license and limited: plowing land, grazing, haymaking, draining swamps, the use of pesticides, recreation of the population, building, movement of mechanized vehicles. We learned about all this by watching the video “Plants of the Red Book”.

On the fourth page We took a walk in the fresh air together. It has long been known that fresh air is good for health! So - then it is so, but how often do we think about the fact that it is "fresh air" that gets into our lungs less and less? Every year everything more people moves from the stone jungle to the city. This is
caused by a variety of reasons, but in most cases this is due to the reluctance of citizens to breathe polluted air. One has only to say the word "city" to someone, as soon as a picture of eternal exhaust gases and smoke coming from the pipes of plants and factories is reproduced in the head. Air in countryside is strikingly different from the city, and one of these places is our village, with its forest, the amber river Bir and endless fields. To preserve this beauty and clean air, villagers organize subbotniks, take care of the cleanliness of the river, conduct classes in schools dedicated to the environmental education of the younger generation, and in libraries - actions on ecology. Also, the villagers, children and adults, together with the foresters, participate in the planting of coniferous and deciduous trees near the inhabited area. After all, it is much better to breathe in pine and spruce forests. And it's not just a feeling. It is conifers that suppress bacteria that cause diseases and have a beneficial effect on nervous system organism. Our residents and pensioners actively use the gifts of nature, go skiing in winter, and regularly walk near the river and forest in summer. Active participants among the elderly are Tatyana Izilyaeva, Elena Valitova and Antonida Apsatarova, a former physical education teacher from the village of. Kameevo. She shared her Nordic walking skills with the guests and showed beginners how to use Nordic poles.

Each of us intuitively feels that nature and its creations are hidden healing powers which cannot be replaced by any synthetic drugs. Who has not applied a plantain leaf to abrasions? Didn't eat raspberries for a cold? Did not drink tincture of valerian? Participants of the event, leafing through fifth page fold-out books, gave their examples of the treatment of diseases with folk remedies, decoctions and infusions from herbs that are well known and grow in our area. They talked about the properties of medicinal plants that grow on our plots - these are calendula, currants, raspberries, rose hips and so on. Svetlana Bikbulatova recalled cases from her life when medicinal plants came to her aid and about the rules for collecting this natural gift.

There is still debate about whether or not to believe dietary supplement manufacturers about the effectiveness of their products. On the the sixth page of the book we reviewed the activities of the Siberian Health Corporation, doctors' reviews of its products, the negative aspects of self-treatment, and also tried to understand the role of dietary supplements in human life. Anna Alimpieva, a consultant at the Siberian Health Corporation, says that the Siberian Health company was founded in Novosibirsk in 1996 and this moment is a leading Russian developer and manufacturer of health products and cosmetics, confirmed by patents. Raw materials for production are supplied from Gorny Altai, Baikal and other protected areas of Siberia: medicinal herbs, their roots, berries, flowers and seeds are used. She also introduced us to the rules for taking herbal medicines.

On the seventh page participants were waiting for the game "Green Pharmacy". Participants solved crossword puzzles with great pleasure, answered quiz questions without mistakes, competed in the knowledge of meadow and forest flowers. They called medicinal plants, and what medicinal properties they have. They also solved riddles, remembered proverbs and read poems "Meadow herbs", "Forest tea", "Healing herbs". According to the results of the game, our jury, the former paramedic of the Kameevskaya SVA, Lyudmila Musalina (a pensioner on a well-deserved rest), recognized all the players as the best herbalists in the village.

eighth page The books were the best. Elena Shamidanova opened for her readers an impromptu phytobar called “From diseases of all healthier”. Tea is a healthy drink that quenches thirst, relieves fatigue, invigorates, and improves mood. For many nations it is just as necessary and indispensable as bread. Participants of the action learned a lot of interesting things about the history of the emergence of tea drinking traditions in Russia by visiting a phytobar. Tea drinking lover Zoya Vasilievna Biktimirova demonstrated Master Class for brewing tea. She taught me how to prepare tonic drinks that give vigor and energy to life. And excellent pies from all our guests became an excellent addition to hot tea. We sat for a long time at the samovar, drank tea and sang songs wonderfully, sincerely.

In the last page of the book, medicinal plants gave instructions that we must remember, and then nature will be grateful to us.

I saw a young sprout - do not touch and do not tear!

Walk by, smile, tell him: "Live!"

Weeks or years will pass, and a healing herb will grow there.

Protect the green forest! Don't offend anyone!

Don't destroy the trees! Save the flowers in the forest!

You came to nature for help - be kind and take care of it.

Do not break branches, do not tear, do not touch,

Remember, it takes many more years

So that the bush can help you again.

You, my friend, look, do not let us down! Promise to be truthful and kind!

Do not hurt a bird or a cricket, do not buy a net for a butterfly!

Love flowers, forests, expanse of fields - everything that is called your homeland!

Lesson progress

I. Communication of the topic and objectives of the lesson.

Today we will get acquainted with the amazing inhabitants of the kingdom of Flora (plant world). These inhabitants are medicinal plants. You will learn what plants are called medicinal, where they grow, how to collect them correctly.

II. Eco stop.

We have an important guest in a hurry. Guess the riddle and you will know his name.

There is one such flower, you cannot weave it into a wreath.

Blow lightly on it, there was a flower - and there is no flower.

(Dandelion.)

Guys, what does this ecological sign mean?

Why can't you pick flowers?(They did not have time to give the seeds.)

The most unpleasant thing for a traveler is to hurt his leg and lose the ability to move. But the Green Pharmacy can help.

By the roads grows a nondescript plantain flower with a rosette of leaves, from the middle of which a stalk with green balls of seeds rises. Tear off a leaf, apply it to a sore spot, and you will feel how the pain gradually subsides. Soon you will stop limping and forget about your savior. What to remember about him? After all, it's just a plantain.

3 Rules for the collection and processing of medicinal plants.

Students write rules and draw environmental signs.

R e a l o f o r f o r e : what to collect.

One must precisely learn to distinguish the plants to be collected from similar species. You also need to know which parts of the plants have medicinal value; some take only flowers, others take leaves, and others take stems. Fruits, berries, seeds are collected only when they are fully ripe.

Rule two: when to collect.

Medicinal plants have the most healing power in certain months. Valerian, for example, is recommended to be collected in April and September, dandelions - in May and September, coltsfoot - only in May, wild rose - in September, etc. In addition, you need to consider that it is better to collect plants in dry weather .

R u l o t e r t e: how to collect.

Stock up in advance with everything you need for collection (scoops, knives, scissors, bags), arrange with the pharmacy so that it will definitely accept the collected plants. All participants must wash their hands after collecting medicinal raw materials.

R u t f u r t u t: where to collect.

Each plant has certain places of growth that you need to know. Easily accessible gathering places, such as slopes near highways, should be avoided, because the flowers and leaves of plants accumulate harmful substances- products of car exhaust gases. It is also impossible to collect medicinal plants in those places that have been treated with pesticides. If you notice a single plant in a clearing and there are no similar plants nearby, you can’t tear it. You can not collect in those places where there are very few medicinal plants.

R e a l o f f e s: collecting, preserving.

Many medicinal plants have become rare, for example, the medicinal herb valerian has almost disappeared in a number of areas. Even wild plants a lot at the place of collection, be sure to leave a few strong, healthy specimens. Take exactly as much as you need, do not tear in vain, and know how to properly save the collected plants.

Air dry medicinal plants in the shade. Especially good places for drying - country attics.

When drying, lay the plants separately, the plants should not be mixed up with each other. Make sure that neither earth, nor sand, nor dirt gets on the plants. Then everything will go to work, nothing will be wasted.

4 Quiz "Green pharmacy under your feet."

The teacher reads the description of the medicinal plant, the students name it and talk about its use.

Description 1. I am both a weed and a medicinal plant at the same time. My Russian name comes from the old Russian word "koprina" - silk. Description 3. This is a beautiful deciduous tree with dark bark and spreading crown. The flowers of this tree are an old folk remedy for colds.(Linden.)

Description 5. In the old days in Russia, this plant was considered "herb from ninety-nine diseases." By a special royal decree, the plant was brought from Siberia to Moscow. However, as it turned out, in vain. There is also a lot of it in the forests of the European part of Russia. Popular rumor endowed the grass with a "terrible" power - they say, it mows down any beast to the right and left. Hence the name of the herb. What is this herb?(St. John's wort.)

Description 6. In the old days, this plant was called soldier's grass. And indeed: it is bold, hardy, not afraid of either heat, or frost, or bad soils. It stops bleeding and heals wounds. According to legend, Achilles is a hero Trojan War- healed this herb from the wounds of his friend Patroclus. Therefore, the plant was called "Achilles grass". 1. Introductory speech of the teacher

Today we have gathered to talk about our friends - medicinal plants. Currently, there are more than 600 plant species that are used in medicine. Medicinal plants can be found in the forest, in the field and even along the roadsides. Today we will talk about the most common plants, those that we meet every day and do not even know how useful they are.

2. Children's messages

1st student:

It has long been noticed by a person that some plants cure ailments. He spied that the animals are also treated with herbs, finding among the many plants they need. The healing properties of plants have been passed down from generation to generation. Gradually, knowledge about them began to be collected in a book - "herbalists". In ancient times, the collection of herbs was done by healers, witches, shamans. They surrounded their craft with mystery and in every possible way frightened away those who wanted to be hired by collecting medicinal herbs. Preparing medicines, the healer usually muttered incantations and various incomprehensible words. Of course, all this was done in order to raise the price of herbal medicines and to force people to refuse to collect them on their own.

2nd student:

For thousands of years, folk herbalists have managed to accumulate a lot of information about the beneficial properties of plants. And in our pharmacies, among many modern drugs, herbs, herbal tinctures, herbal tablets, herbal-based tablets take their rightful place. Let's look into the country of medicinal herbs. And here is the first inhabitant of this country. There are many mysteries about her.

Evil as a wolf.

It burns like mustard!

What is this wonder?

It's (nettle)!
Of course you know what she looks like. People have something to thank nettles for. From it you can cook many useful and delicious meals. From nettles, a green, yellow dye is obtained, which is used in Food Industry. This plant is also used for temporary storage. food products. But the most important thing is that the nettle contains substances that kill germs and stop the blood. And if you take a raw nettle, ceiling and apply to a fresh wound, then the wound will be cleansed and heal quickly. Nettle is also good for strengthening hair.

3rd student:

Listen to the riddle and determine which plant it says:

Thin stem along the path.

At the end of his earring.

Leaves are on the ground

Little paddles.

He is like a good friend to us.

Heals wounds of the legs and arms.

(Plantain)
Find plantain in our autumn bouquet.

? Why is this plant so called?

? Which of you used plantain?

? Why did you do it?

Plantain breeds very quickly. See how many seeds it has. Each seed is covered with mucus, and therefore its seeds are easily glued to the wheels, to the legs. So the plantain travels the world. Americans call the plantain "the footprint of the white man." Maybe because its leaves resemble a human footprint.
4th student (continues the story about the plantain):

It never grew in America until the Europeans introduced it. The medicinal properties of this plant have been known for over 3,000 years. It was the most widely used drug in the Middle Ages. Plantain is used for diseases of the stomach, it is not only a good wound healing and hemostatic agent, but also a cold remedy. In this case, plantain juice is used.

A Russian legend tells that once, when two snakes were basking in the sun in the middle of the road, one of them was run over by a wagon. The second snake immediately brought her a healing plantain leaf. Since then, people have learned about the healing properties of this plant.

5th student:

I want to tell you one more thing amazing plant- it's a yarrow. Look at this plant. Why do you think it's called that? Each leaf of this plant is repeatedly dissected into many narrow slices, which cannot be counted. Yarrow is used for diseases of the stomach, intestines. This plant stops blood well, improves appetite. And if you stretch the leaves and apply gruel to the wound, the wound will heal quickly.

6th student:

What next plant will the story be about, you will learn from the riddle:

He releases sheets

Broad width.

Hold on strong branches

One hundred fruits are rough, tenacious.

If you do not bypass them -

You can find them all on your own.

(burdock)
And indeed! What plant can be more intrusive than burdock! Not only the fruits of this plant stick to a person, but he himself grows closer to a person’s dwelling. Burdock roots can replace carrots, potatoes. But they are edible in the first year of life. In Japan and China, burdock is cultivated as a vegetable. If you grind the root and cook it for two hours, you get a sweet-tasting jam. A decoction of burdock roots is recommended for strengthening hair. The fresh juice of the plant with oil heals wounds well.
7th student:

Guess what plant this is?

This boy is wearing it!

Yellow sundress.

Grow up - dress up

In a white dress

light, airy,

Obedient to the wind.

(Dandelion)
That's right, it's a dandelion. Dandelion is also a medicinal plant. It is called by scientists - "dandelion officinalis". Dandelion blooms in spring. Brightly - yellow flowers colorfully enliven nature. Dandelion leaves are used in early spring for preparing vitamin salad. In some countries they are even prepared for the future, fermented like cabbage.

Dandelion is used in the treatment of many diseases: stomach, intestines, Bladder, to improve appetite. Dandelion root oil tincture is a good remedy from burns. Decoctions of dry grass and root should be drunk if the stomach hurts.

Teacher: There are a lot of medicinal plants near our houses. You have all met them many times. Look at the exhibition! This is chamomile (used for colds, inflammation of the oral mucosa, sedative and analgesic). Coltsfoot (used for coughs, squeezed juice from fresh leaves is applied to ulcers, wounds, abscesses). Motherwort (used as a sedative, for heart disease). But the real pantry of medicinal plants grows in the forest. Let's listen to the children's stories.

8th student:

In the shade of trees, among the thick grass, lily of the valley grows. The lily of the valley has two pointed leaves, and between them there are several small bells. Lily of the valley has a subtle, pleasant smell. Lily of the valley is the raw material for the drug, which is produced for the treatment of heart disease, diseases of the nervous system. Lily of the valley is a protected plant, it is listed in the Red Book, so only special organizations can harvest lily of the valley.

9th student:

highly rated man beneficial features lungwort. Lungwort is used in the treatment of bronchitis, inflammation of the upper respiratory tract with vitamin deficiency. There are other medicinal plants in the forest. Raspberry (for sore throats and colds). Strawberries (to improve blood composition). Lingonberries (with avitaminosis - berries, with kidney diseases - leaves).

10th student:

There are many medicinal herbs in the field and in the meadow. Cornflower. Used as an antipyretic; with diseases of the bladder; in the form of lotions for eye diseases. In Russia, there is a legend according to which the beautiful young man Vasily was killed by a mermaid and turned into a flower - cornflower. AT Ancient Greece It was believed that cornflower juice can quickly heal wounds. Shepherd's bag. Stops bleeding, is used in diseases of the kidneys, liver, bladder, as an antiemetic. Valerian officinalis is used for nervous diseases, insomnia, for diseases of the heart, gastrointestinal tract.

Teacher: But in order for these plants to help us and show their wonderful properties, they must be properly harvested, stored and used. It is necessary to adhere to strict rules. To collect plants, you need to know them well, that is, to distinguish them from others; know when they need to be collected (calendars for collecting plants will help with this), and what part of the plant is needed for treatment. You can collect plants only in dry weather, it is better immediately after dew. It is impossible to collect polluted plants with rusty spots growing near roads, highways.

When harvesting, plants should be laid in spacious baskets, without tamping, as they may begin to rot. Dry only in the shade, in a well-ventilated area, not in the sun. Plants should be laid out in a thin layer on cardboard, matter and turned over at least 2 times a day. Do not uproot plants, do not collect all the plants to the last, in no case do not collect plants that are listed in the Red Book.

Remember: many medicinal plants are very poisonous. When collecting, you can not crush the plants in your hands, do not touch your face, lips, eyes, nose with dirty hands, so as not to bring poisonous juice onto the mucous membrane. If, nevertheless, poisoning occurs, and we begin to have a headache, nausea, weakness, we urgently need to induce vomiting and flush the stomach, consuming a lot of boiled water. Dried herbs are best stored in cardboard boxes, paper bags or cloth bags.

3. Quiz

And now let's check if you remember what we talked about today. List the medicinal plants that you remember.

Which medicinal plant is the most "sticky"?

The leaves of which plant are cut into many slices?

What medicinal plant is called the "white man's footprint"?

What plants heal wounds?

How to collect and store raw materials?
4. Riddles contest

And now let's have a riddle contest:

In the heat of the stumps

Lots of thin stems.

Each thin stem

Holds a scarlet light.

Unfolding the stems

Collecting lights.

(Strawberry)

White bells.

White pots on a green leg.

(lilies of the valley)

White basket -

golden bottom,

There is a dewdrop in it

And the sun is shining.

(Chamomile)

Rye is earing in the field.

There, in the rye, you will find a flower.

Bright blue and fluffy.

It's just a pity that it's not fragrant:

(Cornflower)

Whoever touches -

It clings to it.

Affectionate and prickly,

Needles stick out all around.

(burdock)

So our journey through the country of Medicinal Herbs has come to an end. We would like to end our conversation with the following lines:

I won't pick the cornflower

And golden daisies

Better the whole meadow at once

I'll take it to my home.

I'll take the field quietly

And in the dew a shining meadow

I will put them in our school,

I will give you my friend!
METHODOLOGICAL PINK

Phytotherapy has a centuries-old tradition, because medicinal properties plants were used even when most modern drugs were not yet in sight. Our ancestors successfully treated many diseases using medicinal potions prepared on the basis of medicinal herbs, berries, and fruits. Indeed, medicinal plants contain vitamins, trace elements, essential oils, inorganic salts and organic acids. The effect of the use of properly selected and manufactured medicinal plants can be equal to the use of conventional medicines.
