Principle of operation
In the body of the combined mixer, an additional conduit is provided, independent of the main one. It allows not only to mix and regulate the pressure and temperature of water, but also to supply prepared water for drinking. At the same time, tap and drinking water that has passed the purification stage does not mix. The mixer is equipped with two switching levers. If you open the left one, drinking water will flow, and if the right one, ordinary tap water will flow. During drinking water supply, the right lever must be kept closed.

The spout with a return spring is easier to remove, but you have to hold the switch button so that it does not go back, that is, one hand will be occupied. In both cases, free space must be left under the sink for the pull-out hose. Finally, there are faucets in which the shower head is installed separately from the body on its own hole in the countertop or sink. The hose is placed under the countertop or sink and pulled out through the body of the faucet, and the retractable nozzle is attached flush with the surface of the spout, becoming part of it.
