The buildings

Let's consider how to properly tie your receiver to a satellite dish without the help of specialists, if for some reason the settings in the tuner were violated (we bought a new tuner; the firmware "flew"; "poked" where it was not worth it; children "helped", etc. ) and instead of broadcasting your favorite channel, we see a terribly unpleasant inscription "no signal".

There are 2 ways to solve this problem yourself.

The first step is to determine which satellites the antennas are tuned to. It will not be difficult to do this if you remember which channels were previously available to you. From the following table, you can determine which satellites these channels belong to. Most often, one antenna is installed for 3 satellites: Amos, Sirius (Astra) and HotBird. Sometimes an additional antenna with one head (converter) is placed on an additional satellite. We recommend that you write down the list of received satellites in a "column" and opposite each satellite - any frequency from this "satellite" on which it "sits" a large number of channels.

If there is easy access to the satellite dish:

The image shows which satellite a certain head is tuned to. A cable (or several cables) comes out of each head, connecting it to a special diseqc switch (usually located on the back of the antenna). All inputs on the switch are numbered (lnb 1, lnb 2, lnb 3, etc.). Having determined from which head, to which input of the diseqc switch the cable is connected, you can determine which satellite corresponds to the number on the switch. Thus, we mark in the list opposite each specific satellite the corresponding port number of the diseqc switch. It is important not to make a mistake, different satellites cannot have the same port number.

Having compiled such a list, you can proceed to the receiver settings. To do this, perform the following steps:

1. Turn on the receiver and find in main menu paragraph settings (settings, installations) antennas. If there is no such item, in some tuners these settings may be in the item "channel search". Entering this menu item, we must find the satellite settings (satellite name, LNB type, DiSEqC, polarization, LNB power, signal level and quality scale, etc.). In different receivers, these signatures may vary slightly.

2. Click on the name of the satellite, a list of embedded satellites will appear. From all the variety we choose one of those that we need.

3. Go to the DiSEqC (DiSEqC 1.0) tab, select from the drop-down list the number corresponding to the selected satellite (for example: "3", or "LNB 3", or "C", or "3/4" (where 3 is the number switch ports, 4 - means that our switch has only 4 ports)). In some receivers, the diseqc numbering is not numeric, but alphabetic, for example, LNB "A", LNB "B", LNB "C", etc. Thus, we "tie" the rest of the satellites to our ports of the DiSEqC switch.

4. Press the "EXIT" button on the remote control to exit the menu. When asked to save the settings, we agree by selecting the appropriate answer option and clicking "OK".

If access to the satellite dish is difficult:

In this case, it is also possible to solve the problem, but by the "poke" method.

From the above method, follow steps 1 and 2.

Go to the DiSEqC tab (DiSEqC 1.0), select an arbitrary number from the drop-down list (for example: "3", or "LNB 3", or "C", or "3/4" (where 3 is the switch port number, 4 is means that our switch has only 4 ports)). Click "OK" to fix the value and look at the signal quality scale. If the indicator has increased significantly on the scale, then the selected satellite corresponds to the checked switch number. If not, try the next DiSEqC number in the same way until the quality scale increases. If the result is positive, leave this value and return to the selection of the next satellite. Next, we select the DiSEqC port number by analogy with the previous satellite.

Then it remains to perform step 4 of the previous method.

If everything is done without errors, and the channels still do not want to be displayed, most likely there are problems with the signal entering the receiver. In this case it is worth calling a specialist to properly diagnose and fix the problem.

Satellite TV is good decision in suburban and low-rise buildings. Wherever cable TV and Internet TV operators do not work. Satellite packages that include everything necessary equipment, now you can buy even in supermarkets selling appliances and electronics. As soon as you have decided on the operator, the tariff and purchased the equipment, the setting must be completed satellite dish by yourself or with the help of a technical specialist of the operator.

The essence of satellite TV technology is as follows:

  • The signal is transmitted from a satellite above the Earth, moving in orbit, but not changing its position relative to the Earth.
  • The satellite dish is directed directly to the broadcasting satellite.
  • The signal focused by the antenna from the satellite is transmitted to the converter, which turns it into an electrical one and transmits it to the receiver.
  • The receiver can be external or built into the TV. All modern TVs are able to receive a signal from a converter without additional equipment.

By itself, a satellite dish is universal and, with a sufficient diameter, is suitable for any operator. The difference lies only in the equipment and its settings. The leading providers of satellite TV services in Russia are Tricolor and NTV+. They both broadcast from the same satellite, so the setup and installation will be similar for them.

Tricolor and NTV + are paid and to access the found channels you need special card, registration and payment for one of the types of subscriptions. But there are many satellites broadcasting free channels, including in Russian. You can choose and tune the antenna to one of them, or purchase several satellite dishes, or use rotary mechanism for easy reorientation.

Installation and configuration of a satellite dish for Tricolor and NTV +

Since Tricolor and NTV + broadcast from the same satellite, the algorithm for installing, configuring and connecting the antenna to the TV will be the same for them:

  • To get started, purchase a satellite dish of sufficient diameter.
  • Buy equipment for receiving a signal from a dish:
  1. receiver and access card (for NTV +), from 5000 rubles.
  2. if you have a TV with a CL + connector, then you can purchase a special module and a card (for NTV +), from 3000 rubles.
  3. digital two-tuner receiver (for Tricolor, from 7800 rubles) or ready kit along with a Tricolor dish with a TV module (8300 rubles) or a receiver that allows you to later connect 2 TVs (17800 rubles).
  4. you can purchase any receiver on your own, after specifying its compatibility with the operator's signal on the website or in the technical support service.
  • When all the equipment is ready, you can proceed with the installation. For the European part of Russia, the satellite is located in the south, so the antenna must be installed on the southern part of the building.
  • There should be no obstacles on the signal receiving line. Try to mount the plate higher.
  • Attach the bracket to the wall with anchor bolts. It should be firmly screwed on and not wobble.
  • Assemble the plate according to the instructions for it and fix it on the bracket.
  • Install the converter on a special holder and connect the cable to it. It is better to install the converter with the connector down to avoid precipitation.
  • Now you need to connect the receiver to the converter and TV. If you are using a module, then insert it into a special connector, and connect the cable from the antenna to the TV.
  • Turn on your TV and receiver. Antenna installation is complete. Next, you need to tune it exactly to the satellite and search for channels.

In the case of NTV + and Tricolor, which broadcast from one satellite, no additional equipment is required for setup. After south installation is complete, fine-tune:

You can also use special tables that show the approximate location of the dish in terms of angle and azimuth for different cities Russia. Such tables are easy to find for Tricolor, NTV +, and, if desired, for other satellites.

Free satellite channels

In addition to Tricolor and NTV +, you can tune the antenna to other satellites that broadcast channels for free. To do this, you will need any receiver or TV with a built-in signal receiver. An access card and, accordingly, a card module are not needed, since you will tune in to unencrypted channels.

On the territory of Russia, you can connect the antenna to the following satellites:

  • Astra 4a 4.8°E;
  • AMOS 2/3 4°W;
  • HotBird 13°E;
  • ABS 1 /1A /1B, 75°E;
  • Intelsat 15 85.2°E;
  • Yamal 201 90°E.

The procedure for installation, configuration and connection is similar to that used with NTV + and Tricolor. But in order to correctly direct the antenna to the satellite, it is better to use special program, such as Satellite Antenna Alignment.

Satellite Antenna Alignment can be downloaded for free for non-commercial use from the official website http://www.al-soft.com/saa/satinfo.shtml. Main characteristics and rules for using the program:

  1. Run the program and enter the coordinates of your location in the Site Location window. You can find out these coordinates in any smartphone or tablet with GPS or on special sites on the Internet.
  2. A list of satellites with coordinates in azimuth and inclination will be displayed on the left.
  3. If the angle values are negative, then the satellite is below the horizon line and communication with it is impossible.
  4. Using the program data, it is easy to set the position of the antenna without a compass. To do this, the function "tuning by the sun" is intended:
  • Select the satellite you want to point the dish at.
  • Go to the Sun's Azimuth tab.
  • On the right side of the window you will see the current position of the sun. Here the program calculates on what day and time the position of the sun will coincide with the position of the satellite.
  • At the specified time, simply point the antenna at the sun.

By entering the details of your satellite dish in the Offset antenna tab, you can accurately determine the level of the desired tilt.

Satellite Antenna Alignment - program window

After you have directed the antenna to the desired satellite, you need to connect it to the TV and configure it as described above. For easier tuning to a strong signal, you can use a device such as satfinder. You can buy a simple turnout in the region of 400-500 rubles, or you can buy a more expensive one with a display and various functions, their price starts at 2000 rubles. To use satfinder:

  1. Connect the satellite finder between the converter and the receiver, about 1-1.5 meters from the converter. The cable from the converter is connected to the LNB connector, and the one that goes to the receiver is connected to the REC.
  2. Go to the receiver's "Signal Level" menu.
  3. Start fine-tuning by following the movement of the arrow on the satellite finder. With the right direction, the arrow will move to higher values.

These are the basic rules that you need to follow in order to successfully install, connect and configure a satellite dish yourself. The procedure is simple, but it will save you the money that you would give for the departure of the master. Most importantly, handle the antenna carefully, securely fasten it in correct position and follow all steps of the installation instructions. Share your ideas in the comments on how else you can simplify the process of installing and configuring a satellite dish in an apartment or house.

Every apartment owner country house sooner or later faced with the problem of connecting television. Wanting to view a large number of film, sports, scientific and educational channels and high definition programs, the choice falls in favor of installing a satellite dish. The dish can be connected anywhere in Moscow and the Moscow region if there is a signal from the satellite. All Russian-speaking operators can be divided into two main categories - southern (NTV PLUS and TRICOLOR TV) and eastern (CONTINENT, TELECARD, MTS). The former will require a clear orientation of the antenna in the south direction, the latter in the east. In the absence of a signal from the Customer's windows, a satellite dish is installed and adjusted on the roof of the building. The cost of equipment and work in this case increases, as the costs of cable and its installation are added.

In addition to servicing the private sector, our company performs the entire range of work on connecting offices to television systems, shopping centers, hotels and any other commercial buildings and institutions in the Moscow region and in Moscow.

The problem of choosing an operator should be taken care of even at the stage of building or repairing the premises, during the laying of wires. Connection work is divided in this case into two stages:

  1. Installation and configuration of a satellite dish on the roof or from the window of a building
  2. Installing a receiver or access module, system commissioning

By connecting the dish in advance, you will know from which side of the windows or the house the signal is coming from and from where you should pull the cables point by point. Quite often, situations arise when builders take the cable to the place where there is no reception and you have to lay the cable again, which does not always look aesthetically pleasing when the repair is completed. If you are not ready to mount a satellite dish in advance, then there is a service for a master to visit the facility and measure the incoming signal level to determine the installation location.

Many are unsure that they can set up satellite TV themselves. In fact, many people can cope with this.

Equipment

Today, the entire connection kit costs between 2800-4500 rubles. It includes:

  • Receiver (tuner). in plain language this is the receiver. Of the whole set, it costs the most. When choosing it, be serious, because the channels are broadcast in mpeg 2 and mpeg4 formats. The second one is better.
  • Antenna. Transforms the receiving beam into focus. It is he who takes the impulse.
  • Converter mounts- 2 pieces.
  • Disek- its task is to switch between converters. The tuner at one time receives an impulse exclusively from one converter, it is necessary if there are more than two satellites.
  • Special cable.
  • F connectors.
  • Mounting bracket.

Tools to help you tune your antenna:

  • Extension cord (preferably 3 sockets);
  • Perforator or drill;
  • Wrenches for tightening nuts 13 and 10;
  • Phillips screwdriver;
  • A hammer;
  • Insulating tape.

Choosing a satellite

We need to choose which satellite TV operator we need.

The basis of satellite television is orbiting satellites. Television stations send a signal to them, and they spread it over vast areas. Then it goes to the antenna, which reflects it to the head, it transmits it to the tuner. There, decoding takes place and we see the picture and hear the sound.

But just antennas are not enough for this. We need a whole system here.

Satellites are of two types:

  • Open broadcast
  • encoded

Channels are collected in packages and a card is purchased that will decode them.

Russian channels are broadcast from satellites from different parts of the world. To receive a signal from a particular satellite, it is required that the antenna be directed in its direction and set the correct frequency. If the desired satellites are nearby, then only one antenna is needed to catch it.

Satellite Yamal 201 makes it possible to view up to thirty Russian channels. There are many free-to-air broadcasters in Earth orbit.

When choosing an operator, take a look at:

  1. Tricolor-TV has been operating for many years and has many customers.
  2. NTV Plus
  3. Rainbow TV

All of them provide many channels.

Antenna Installation

How to choose an installation location

It will not be possible to install the antenna anywhere. They are sensitive. If a tree interferes with the signal, then the reception will be blocked partially or completely. Before installation, you need to check what objects are in the signal path. If anything, you need to either choose another place, or eliminate interfering objects.

To a specific satellite, you need to choose the right direction. It can be obtained from a sales assistant, on the Internet or in specialized literature.

Before installation, you need to check what objects are in the signal path, if anything, you need to either choose another place or eliminate interfering objects

Getting ready for installation

There are instructions for the plates. After assembling the antenna, you need:

  1. Attach the bracket to the wall
  2. Fix the plate
  3. Start setup

Now you need to start preparing the cable:

  1. Take a knife with pliers
  2. Use a knife to strip the top insulation, there will be a layer of small wires. It must be deflected to the cable.
  3. Next comes the foil layer. Cut it off.
  4. Last protective layer you need to bare and there will be a core.
  5. You clean it from the top layer(enamel) and put on the F connector.
  6. All the layers that stick out- cut.

To a specific satellite, you need to choose the right direction, you can get it from the sales assistant, on the Internet or in special literature

We connect

  1. Connect the convectors to the disc. This requires 3 cables.
  2. To prevent moisture from getting on the disk, hide it. But you don’t need to wrap it with electrical tape, otherwise it will be a “steam room”. Use heat shrink.
  3. Now you need to connect the disk to the receiver. It's simple, screw the F-ku which is on the cable to the receiver.

Setting up the heads

Let's say the plate is facing south. We connected all the wires. Now comes the most difficult stage in all this work. You need to start with the central head. If the south side is selected, then you need to tune in to Sirius.

Set the receiver speed to 27500, frequency 11766, polarization - H. Look at the two bars: the first is the connection (red), the second shows the signal level (yellow). If everything is correct, the signal level will be 40%.

Now you can adjust the signal quality, now it is 0. Let's go to the plate:

To make it easier, you can:

  • Connect the power cable to the plate;
  • Install a tuner from the kit nearby;
  • Put a portable, small TV next to or on the roof;
  • Connect and check everything by adjusting the plate.

But not everyone wants to do this, and for example, no one will raise plasma to the roof.

Setting up side converters

After the previous manipulations, it is very easy to adjust the side heads, the rest of the satellites are on the sides.

The principle is the same as the previous setting:

  • For Amos speed 27500, frequency 11766, polarization H.
  • Hotbird - 27500, 11034, V.

We bend the side bracket. Do not be afraid, some models are made in such a way that there is no way without it. Gently move the converter to the right side from the left, upper corner, then lower it lower and turn to the left. Monitor the signal until it becomes normal.

There will be no signal if the disk settings are set incorrectly. Check.

Finishing the setup

When you have everything set up and wound up all the wires, scan and look for channels. Find the SCAN function in the tuner. There will be a list of all available channels. Choose the ones you need.

Now often all the channels are already in the tuner settings. No need to scan and configure. Turn on the TV, watch your favorite channel. Find and press the Info button on the remote (insert batteries into the remote). Some channels may be missing, write their frequency in the editor. And pay attention to the readings of two or three scales, depending on which tuner.

Possible mistakes

  • If the cable stripping is poor quality and the F connector is connected incorrectly, the tuner can be damaged.
  • The cable to the tuner is connected incorrectly.
  • Wrong installation location. There is an object closing the signal.
  • The disk port for the satellite is not specified.
  • At the time when the antenna is being tuned, it is impossible to be in front of the satellite converter.
  • Once you have adjusted the antenna, do not loosen the nuts holding the tilt and azimuth too much.
  • The satellite signal can be checked with special devices.
  • Amos should be searched on the right, and Hotbird on the left.

The brackets must be chosen in length so that the antenna is not hampered by the wall to which it is attached to turn in the desired direction.

Cable

When installing the antenna, the cable must be Special attention, because he will have to lie or hang his whole "life" on the street. We recommend the FinMark F-660BV TV cable. For a cable of poor quality, this "life" can be unexpectedly short. It is not worth saving on the cable, because due to a bad cable, the diseqc switch can suffer at best, and converters and the receiver at worst. When laying the cable, it must not break or bend at an acute angle. On the this moment there are many special cable fasteners to various surfaces which makes installation much easier and more practical. All cable connections must be in an easily accessible place. Good seller will always advise you the right cable.

Satellite receiver

The choice of a digital satellite receiver must be approached most responsibly. Your pleasure depends on it, with which you will view your favorite channels. At the moment, there is a huge selection of manufacturers and models of receivers, but you can still give a few recommendations.
First of all, the receiver must support the broadcast format of the channels you have selected. DVB-S standard SD receivers can only receive mpeg-2 channels. HD receivers of the DVB-S2 standard accept channels in mpeg-2, mpeg-4, HD and 3D formats.
It is worth deciding whether you will need to connect the Internet to the receiver to update the software, view Internet services (for example, u-tube) or to receive keys to some channels. For these purposes, some receivers have a LAN input.
Pay attention to the availability of the necessary outputs to connect your TV. If you have a flat panel TV, for the best picture and sound, you should connect it to the receiver with a digital HDMI cable, of course, the receiver must also have such a connector.
If you are a good computer savvy, we advise you to buy a receiver in an open operating system linux. This will give you the opportunity to connect to your receiver from a computer, install various plug-ins into the tuner, which greatly expand its functionality. The presence of a USB connector will allow you to record and play your favorite programs, as well as record programs on a timer.
The (Time-shift) function in some receivers is very useful, which allows you to pause the broadcast you are watching and after a while resume watching it without missing a single one. important point.
Some receivers have the ability to connect to wireless network Internet via USB port using a WI-FI adapter (WI-FI is already built into some models).
Many receivers, in addition to recording, are worthy multimedia centers that allow you to watch videos of various formats (avi, mpeg4, mkv ...). The presence of a digital audio output spdif will make it possible to connect the tuner to sound system, which will allow you to enjoy not only a high-quality picture, but also a clear digital sound.
Do not rush to buy new, just appeared models of receivers. Read on the forums positive and negative feedback about your favorite tuner. Find out how often it's updated software and firmware for this receiver. Try to find out how long the manufacturer of the receiver has been around and how long they are going to produce and support this model.
The specialists in our store will always help you choose the receiver that best suits your desires.

Choosing an antenna installation site

The next step is to determine the location of the antennas. It is advisable to install antennas in a place that is easily accessible to you. This will make it possible to fine-tune them, and, in the future, it will be easy to maintain in case of unforeseen circumstances (replacement of converters, diseqc switches, etc.). Also, over time, you may want to connect additional TVs to the antennas - you will need to replace single converters (single) with double (twin), 4-output (quadro), or 8-output (octo), as well as adding required amount diseqc-switches and laying additional cables from antennas to TVs. If you do not have the opportunity to install antennas in an easily accessible place (for example, on the roof of a high-rise building, or on lower floors from the stairs), you can install antennas on the wall of the house near the window, if the windows "look" in the direction of the selected satellites. In this case, it is desirable to adjust the side converters of the antenna relative to the central converter in advance in an easily accessible place. When installing from a window, you will only need to configure the antenna for the central satellite, the side converters will already be configured for you. Since a sufficient number of antennas are now installed, the easiest way to find out in which direction to point your antennas is to look in which direction they are directed on neighboring houses. If this is not possible, it does not matter either, there is a wonderful service. satellite dish direction on the map. You just need to enter the country, city, street, house and select the satellite of interest. In the case of the antenna on Astra 4A (Sirius), HotBird, Amos, the antenna will initially be tuned by the central converter to the Astra satellite (aka Sirius). You will see your house on the map and the direction of the antenna to the selected satellite. If there is no Internet at hand, try to determine the southern direction in any other way known to you (for example, for Ukraine, the sun shines from south direction at about 2 pm, or find any compass). If you are going to install more than one antenna, please note that they should be located as close as possible to each other, because. additional antennas will have to be connected by cable to the diseqc switch on the main antenna. It should also be noted that trees and buildings located in the direction of the satellite may be an obstacle, and you will not be able to "catch" the signal because of them.

Assembling a satellite dish

If the location is determined, it's time to start assembling the antennas. If the antennas will be installed on the roof of a high-rise building, it is worth considering where to assemble the antenna - in an apartment or on the roof, since the assembled antenna may be larger than the opening to the roof. If the antenna in the assembled state does not “climb” through the entrance to the roof, and it is extremely difficult to assemble it on the roof, the assembled antenna can be lifted onto the roof with a rope from the outside.

On the next page you will find a description and detailed instructions for the assembly of a satellite dish of the Kharkov plant "Variant."

It is extremely important to understand that all high-altitude work is very dangerous and it is necessary to observe all possible precautions and, of course, be well insured.

What tools will be needed to assemble and install antennas:

Mounting brackets on the wall

Basically, the bracket is fixed with plastic dowels 12x80 (mm) or metal anchor bolts.

Depending on the fastener you choose, be sure to bring the appropriate wrench with you.

We attach the bracket to the wall in such a way that nothing interferes with the future antenna. In turn, your antenna should also not interfere with the signal for already installed neighboring antennas.

Try to choose a strong and reliable wall surface. The distance from the wall corner to the bolts must be sufficient so that when the bolts are tightened, the corner does not split. Mark the holes for the bracket with a pencil. Depending on the chosen fastener, we drill holes in the wall of the desired diameter, to a depth slightly greater than the length of the dowel or anchor.

We insert the dowels into the holes obtained and hammer them with a hammer.

We fasten the bracket to the wall. Check the reliability of the mounting of the brackets by applying some force to them, it must be taken into account that the antennas have good windage and the brackets constantly experience vibration. Naturally, after a good wind, the antenna should remain in its original position.

Setting up antennas and converters for satellites

First of all, we recommend viewing the article. At first glance, this is a fairly simple operation, but without following some rules, you can seriously damage the connected equipment.
At this stage, you can hang the antennas on the brackets. If you intend to install the antenna on the roof, then you will need to set up the antenna small TV and a tuned receiver (for example, let's take the most common today "Globo", "Orton" or their analogues of the 4100c (or 4050c) model).

Consider setting up an antenna for 3 satellites (Amos, Sirius, HotBird). First you need to tune the antenna to the Sirius (Astra) satellite. To do this, connect one end of the cable to the central converter, and the other to the receiver's input (LNB in).

All manipulations with the connectors must be carried out with the receiver turned off.

The receiver needs to be connected to the TV, press the “OK” button on the receiver’s remote control, go to the Sirius satellite, select a working channel, for example “Rada” or “2 + 2”, press the “OK” button again to go to the selected channel.

In the lower right corner under the viewing window, information about the channel and two scales will appear: the first shows the signal level, and the second shows its quality. Antennas are tuned according to the lower “quality” scale. Slowly rotate the antenna horizontally and vertically until a signal appears on the scale. Now move the antenna literally by a millimeter, trying to get a stronger signal. Further, tightening the nuts, it is necessary to achieve the maximum possible signal. By turning the converter around its axis, you can still raise the signal (more on polarization is written on the page). Do not try to catch a 100% signal, this is unrealistic. Press the “Exit” button and watch the signal on other channels of this satellite. Channels from the same satellite may have different signal quality - this is normal. To tune in to the satellite, turn off the receiver, unscrew the cable from the middle converter, connect it to the converter on the right (it's the top one),

and turn on the receiver according to the previous example on the working channel of the Amos satellite, for example, “1 + 1” or “New Channel”. Adjusting bolts of the multifeed, and turning the converter around its axis, we achieve the maximum signal from this satellite.

In the same way, we connect to the left, lowest converter, and set up the satellite (“1TVRUS” (ORT), “RTR” channels).

Connecting the diseqc switch to the antennas and receiver

We connect the cables from the converters to the diseqc switch. We write down which port of the switch (ports are numbered), each satellite corresponds. For example, you connected a converter that receives a signal from the HodBird satellite to the first port, Sirius to the second, Amos to the third. Then we connect one end of the cable to the disk to the “Reseiver” port, and the other end to the “LNB IN” tuner jack and turn on the receiver. In the receiver, go to the menu, antenna settings (installation), in the top line in the drop-down list, select a satellite, for example Amos, and in the line “diseqc” select the appropriate port (in this example, 3/4, where 3 is the port number of the switch, 4 - means that our switch has only 4 ports).

In some receivers, the diseqc numbering is not numeric, but alphabetic in the English alphabet, for example, LNB "A", LNB "B", LNB "C", etc. In the same way we "tie up" the rest of the satellites. Exit the menu with the remote control button "EXIT", agree with the proposal to save the settings. At correct connection, channels from all tuned satellites should show. The second antenna is configured in the same way as the first and is connected to the remaining port of the diseqc switch.

It should be recalled that all connections are made with the receiver turned off from the mains.

Laying, connecting a television cable

As we have already agreed, the cable should not break and bend under sharp corners throughout its entire length. If you are running the cable into the room from the outside, the hole for the cable should be drilled at an angle so that water from outside does not flow into the hole inside.

If the cable comes down from the roof, strengthen it so that hanging from the corner of the roof, it will not fray anywhere under the influence of wind, snow, etc.

Outside, the cable is connected to the diseqc switch to the “reseiver” port, inside - to the input to the receiver “lnb in”.

Ultimately, if everything is connected correctly and the cable is not damaged, you can finally enjoy a high-quality picture, an abundant number of channels and great sound.

Good luck to you. Feel free to get down to business, and everything will work out for you.
