LIST OF INGREDIENTS

TOMATOES "IN THE SNOW" with garlic, delicious preparation for the winter - STEP-BY-STEP RECIPE

So let's get started. Today I will close 3 three-liter jars.

I will put pink plum-shaped and orange tomatoes in one, round ones in the other, and red thick cream in the third. We spread the tomatoes in clean, dry jars, trying to fill them as much as possible, but it is not necessary to tamp heavily.

Unlike traditional recipes where horseradish leaves, dill, parsley, currant leaves, cherries, etc. are used, for this preparation we only need garlic, as well as salt, sugar and lemon acid.

Fill the prepared jars with boiling water, and so that the jars do not burst, dip a teaspoon into them and pour boiling water on it.

We cover the jars with lids and leave in this position for 20-30 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the garlic, it must be peeled and chopped.

You can do this in any way convenient for you - scroll in a meat grinder, chop in a blender, pass through a garlic press or, as in my case, grate on a fine grater.

There is quite a lot of garlic in this recipe, based on a 3-liter jar - one head.

After half an hour, the water from the cans must be drained. If you wish, you can prepare the marinade on the same water, adding salt, sugar and citric acid there, but I will pour it from the kettle and add everything you need directly to the jars.

In the meantime, the water boils, pour 1 tbsp into each jar. with a small slide of salt, 5 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. citric acid.

It remains to decompose the garlic, put the grated garlic directly into the jars.

Spicy lovers can add a few pieces to each jar hot pepper.

Fill the jars with boiling water, cover with lids and roll up.

Turn the jar over several times until the salt, sugar and acid are completely dissolved. At this point, the marinade will turn cloudy and turn white, don't let that scare you - it should be so. After cooling and settling the garlic, it will become transparent.

We rolled up the jars, turn them over on the lid and be sure to wrap them until they cool completely.

After a month, the tomatoes will be properly marinated and ready to eat.

It is desirable to store this blank in a cool place - in a cellar or basement, but this is not necessary.

Tomatoes are sweetish-spicy, slightly spicy and very tasty, like everyone who has tried them.
