That is why needlewomen are attracted to vases that you can make yourself, a master class from a craftswoman nika-ethnica how to create a vase from a jar with your own hands.

To make such an original vase, we need:

- glass jar baby food(such jars can be of various sizes and shapes);
- Double-sided tape;
- scissors;
- paper and pencil;
- a piece of foam rubber;
– gold contour on glass;
– matte and transparent stained glass paint;
- threads "Iris" (preferably melange).

Before starting work, you need to think over the pattern, and apply its elements with a pencil on paper. The example uses a variety of leaves, but you can come up with your own version of the picture. Butterflies, various flowers or berries will look very beautiful.

Glue the paper decor elements on the adhesive tape, and cut them out.

We place the cut out elements on the jar of baby food, and with the help of foam rubber we apply stained glass paint.

Since the paper elements are easily peeled off, we cover the jar with a continuous layer, not forgetting about its bottom.

When the paint dries, remove the glued elements. As a result, we get a colored jar with transparent figured "windows".

Now we take the gold outline for the glass, and draw a strip along the edge of the transparent "window". We finish the missing details of the picture on the painted part.

When the contour is dry, take a transparent green stained glass paint and paint the places that remain transparent. Contrasting bright autumn colors will also look beautiful.

We apply leaf veins or other elements (depending on the chosen pattern) to the dried transparent paint using the contour.
It remains to decorate the neck of our vase. To do this, wrap the thread around the neck of the bottle in the place where the cap was screwed on. The thread must be laid in tight and even turns.
Similarly, we make a bend at the base of the jar, and continue to wind even turns until we cover the entire part protruding at the base.

A homemade vase made from a baby food jar combined with a bouquet of wild flowers looks much more impressive than any ready-made vase. Since the kids often give their mothers just such unpretentious, but very valuable bouquets, such vases will definitely find application in your home.

The second method is extremely simple and allows you to quickly turn glass bottle in a spectacular vase:

Minimum cost and maximum effect - in this master class!

Materials and tools for work: an empty glass bottle, masking tape, white acrylic paint (in a tube or spray can), acrylic varnish, brush or kitchen sponge, scissors.

How to make a vase from a glass bottle?

First and very important step- you need to wash and degrease the bottle. Otherwise, if there are fingerprints or dirt on it, the paint may lie unevenly or peel off over time.

Cut the masking tape into strips of the desired length and width. For example, the width of the strip will be 2 cm, no more.

Glue the tape in the places where you want to form a pattern. Special attention give the neck: right under the ledge it can be glued with a thin strip. Or even close the neck so that in the end it turns out to be unpainted.

This master class shows geometric patterns on bottles that are suitable for strict interiors and high-tech rooms. However, you can make other designs as well, such as cutting out hearts or flowers from masking tape and gluing them to the bottle.

Cover the bottle with acrylic paint. If you have it in a can, then you need to spray the paint, holding the can at a distance of about 50 cm from the bottle. At home, it is better to use paint in a tube: in this case, less harmful substances will enter the air.

The paint from the tube can be applied with a kitchen sponge or a regular brush. When painting a bottle, hold it by the neck. Then put the bottle upside down and wait for the paint to dry. After that, put it upside down and paint the neck.

Thus, it is necessary to apply two or three layers of paint so that there are no gaps.

It turns out that the whole bottle was stained, except for those places that were sealed with masking tape. If you are sure that the paint is already dry, you can proceed to the next step - removing the masking tape.
After that, cover the bottle 2-3 times acrylic varnish so that the vase acquires a beautiful shine.

The vase is ready! Now you can put in it a bouquet of fresh flowers or a floristic composition made from dried natural material!

Master class on spot painting glass according to a pattern Julia Yu.

How to paint glass according to a template.

To make such a bottle you will need: the bottle itself, spot stained glass paints (they are sold in tubes with a sharp nose), checkered paper, scissors, compasses, double-sided tape.

Painting with dots according to the template: description of the work.

As in working with any other glass, in this work you must first make sure that the surface is clean. Before coating with any paint, the bottle must be degreased and dried. Only after that, you can cut a strip of paper into a box and use double-sided tape to glue it to the bottle. From paper, you need to make such a wide belt for yourself, which will mark the area of \u200b\u200bdecoration.

Now the glued paper can be used as a template. At the top and bottom of the paper with stained glass paint, it is worth prescribing points, making, as it were, rims under the “ruler”. Together with the upper rim, you can immediately draw additional upper dots.

Now you need to measure the girth of the bottle in place paper strip. Further, if the volume came out a multiple of five, divide it by five, and if four, then divide by four. That is how many semicircular patterns you can fit along the rim of the picture. Meanwhile, the first applied dots have dried up: peel off the paper and throw it away. Well, using a compass, draw a semicircle on paper, the base of which is equal to the girth of the bottle, divided by a multiple. Let's say the volume of the bottle is 24 cm, then this number should be divided by 4 and make a semicircle with a base of 6 cm. Cut this semicircle, stick it to the bottle with tape and circle it with dots.

You can slightly point the dots with another layer of paint, if it turned out poorly.

So, you can paint as many semicircles as will fit on the bottle.

In some places, you can make dots in two rows to make it more elegant.

Small dots can be written between small semicircles. In general, this painting is very reminiscent of Indian "temporary tattoos" called mehendi, when dots on the body depict elegant lace.

Fill large semicircles with smaller elements - eights, bows or curls. Do not forget to dry the drawing well so that it does not smudge.

There are no strict rules in dot painting: you just paint what is easiest to depict. Elementary details (circle, triangle, curl, zigzag) are welcome here, because you can assemble a charming lace from them.

You can draw and quite voluminous flowers.

You can take additional templates into the work if we are talking about figures that will be difficult to repeat by hand. For example, it is a rhombus and an oval. If you want to draw these details small, cut out small templates from paper and also glue them to the bottle with tape.

Circle these templates with dots.

It turns out a very beautiful part of the painting.

First, you can draw a "draft" of points with large distances, and then outline with larger points.

Paint in tubes is good because with the help of a spout you can make both barely noticeable dots and bold marks.

Very tiny dots will help you make veins.

This method is great for vases, candle holders and cups, give it a try!

Vase made of plastic bottles decorated with paper flowers. Master class with step by step photos

Author: Natalya Aleksandrovna Ermakova, Lecturer, Municipal Budgetary educational institution additional education children "Children's Art School named after A. A. Bolshakov", the city of Velikiye Luki, Pskov region

Description: work can be done with children 8-11 years old. The material can be useful to teachers, parents, and everyone who is fond of creativity.

Purpose: interior decoration.

Target: creating a vase from plastic bottles and toilet paper.

Tasks:
- introduce children to the technology of making a vase from plastic bottles and toilet paper;
- to develop an eye, fine motor skills of the hands, a sense of composition and color of the work;
- develop imagination and artistic taste.

We need materials:
- plastic bottles with a capacity of 1.5 liters and 6 liters (the capacity can be of any size)
- tape wide, scissors
-PVA glue
-toilet paper (cheap-hard) 2-3 rolls
- paint water-based white
-gouache
-brushes
- glitter gels
- acrylic lacquer (you can use any)
- a container for diluting glue, it should be wide so that a hand can fit there
- cloth for hands

Master class progress:

We start by trimming the necks of the bottles so that one stands on top of the other. It is more convenient to do this with nail scissors.

Then, with the help of adhesive tape, we fasten the bottles. We dilute the glue, mix it with warm water (it is possible with cold water), the consistency of the liquid resembles cream.

Now, with a large brush, grease the bottle with glue, tear off a small piece of paper and apply it to this place. Then we go over the paper with a brush with glue. The paper is collected in folds, the relief surface of the future vase is obtained.

Well, now the vase needs to dry, well, or dry slightly.

When the vase is dry, start sculpting flower arrangement. We will sculpt flower buds and leaves, this is how they will look, and below is the manufacturing process.

For a leaf, take a small piece of paper and fold it in two or three layers.

Dip the folded paper in glue and wring it out lightly.

We form a leaf and apply it to the right place. All this is done immediately by hand: folded, moistened, squeezed, formed and glued.

Now flowers, wrinkle pieces of paper. We fold a square of paper in two or three layers. We bend the corners inward under the bottom of the square, and give the shape of a cup of a flower.

Dipped in glue, wrung out and placed in its place.

Let's start composing.

Under the weight of the glue, the paper elements may fall off, be patient, as soon as the excess moisture comes off, they will hold well. And when the vase dries, the flowers will become solid.

We decorate the top of the vase with leaves, you need to bend them a little inward to hide the sharp edges of the vase.

Again we let the work dry, the process is long depending on the amount of glue and air temperature.

The vase is dry, prime it water-based paint, paint over each fold and hole. If you add some kind of gouache color to the paint, you get very gentle tones, you can use them for the background of the phase. Please note that if you use tinted water-based paint, it dries very lightly.

Let the paint dry and start working with gouache, go to color scheme, we apply the main tones of the vase (yellow, green, crimson).

Add to the leaves of light green paint, I use ready colors gouache.

Now let's add light green color to the leaves near the flowers. Let's add light shades of the same color around the entire composition.

We revive the flowers, we work with white gouache. Draw white lines on the edges of the petals.

Then, with a dry brush, stretch White color in the main one, draw a white core of flowers. Thus we make out all the flowers.

With the tip of a brush with white paint, outline the contours of all the leaves of the vase. Then we outline them in black.

This is how the vase turned out, let's move on to working with shiny gels. We decorate flowers and leaves with sequins, and after drying we cover the vase with varnish.

And here's what happened to my kids!

Curly cans and bottles often remain from conservation and drinks. beautiful shape which can be decorated in various techniques.

If you knit, then most likely there is always leftover yarn in the house, and if not, then it will not take a lot of money to buy thread. But in the end you get an original and functional home decor - a beautiful vase from a bottle in which you can put a bouquet of fresh flowers, artificial plants or dried flowers. simple technique accessible to beginners and school-age children.

Materials and tools for needlework

Before you make a vase from a bottle with your own hands, carefully study our master class and prepare everything you need for work. The advantage of this type of decoration is that no glue is used for creativity, which means you don’t have to get your hands dirty and cook workplace.

For work you will need:

  • Figured glass bottle or jar.
  • Double-sided tape (not wide).
  • Yarn in two colors
  • glue gun
  • Ribbon 50 cm long and 0.5 cm wide.
  • Scissors.
  • Small beads.

Master class with step by step photos

Before starting work, be sure to wash the dishes well from the label, since no matter how dense the yarn is, the remnants will be visible.

Glue two strips of double-sided tape crosswise to the bottom of a dry dish.

Remove upper layer scotch tape and start winding the yarn in a circle.

On the adhesive base, you need to attach the tip of the thread, and tightly, tightly attach the threads to each other.

After the bottom is ready, stick strips of tape over the entire surface.

The neck can be left without adhesive tape. The distance between the glued strips should be no more than three centimeters, so the threads will sit tighter and the work will be more stable. For convenience, you do not need to immediately remove the top of the double-sided tape. This is done so that the glue does not dry out during work and does not stick to the hands.

Now wind the yarn as tightly as possible in a circle to the very neck of the vase.

This is what a fully decorated jar looks like.

The next step will be decorating an author's vase from a bottle. Over the entire height of the vessel checkerboard pattern glue squares of double-sided tape.

Removing the top of the tape from the thread surface is problematic, therefore, in order to remove it, it is necessary to break through the top with tweezers. On adhesive squares, wind the circles in the same way as the bottom of the jar was wound.

If the threads stick out somewhere, then glue them with a glue gun.

After the whole jar is decorated with circles, glue three small beads in the middle of each (they can be replaced with semi-beads). You can also take the decor that is more suitable for the style of the interior and the type of yarn - coffee beans, artificial fruit, beautiful stones, .

Next, decorate the neck of a vase made from a bottle. Spread hot glue around the throat circumference and glue the middle of the ribbon. Then you need to tie a bow and glue the knot of the bow with a hot gun too.

This is how a handmade designer flower vase from an unnecessary bottle looks like.

Instead of yarn, you can take thin twine and decorate the dish in eco-style. Vases made of plastic containers are ideal for giving, and glass products are not ashamed even to give to friends for all kinds of holidays. This technique is suitable for decorating flower pots. We recommend that you get acquainted with other ideas, and.

A master class on making a vase from a glass bottle for readers of the online magazine Women's Hobbies was prepared by Marina Khoroshilova.

Glass bottles from wine, cognac, champagne, milk, oil and even beer are excellent materials for making DIY flower vases. Painted and decorated vases and vases can decorate not only dinner table and shelves in the house or in the country, but also serving at a wedding or a party, and you can also make a wonderful gift from decorated bottles.

Master class number 1: Stylish and simple

For such a painting of bottles, bottles of any shape and color of glass are suitable, in this master class transparent bottles for milk are used.

Materials: for degreasing - acetone or alcohol, as well as cotton pads, for painting - acrylic paints in jars or spray cans (better for glass and ceramics), a nylon brush, as well as masking or regular tape of the desired width. Rubber rings can be used instead of tape. If you're using spray paint, foil, cling film, or plain paper may come in handy.

Instruction:

  1. We prepare the glass - we remove the labels, wash the glue, wipe the bottles dry, and then degrease the surface with nail polish remover or ethyl alcohol.
  2. We glue the future vase with adhesive tape, forming a pattern: stripes different widths, zigzags or spiral. Scotch tape plays the role of a stencil here.

  1. We start painting the vase in the right places.

Tip: if the paint requires baking in the oven, then consider in what position the painted bottle will dry. So, if you cover both the bottom and the neck with paint, then it will be problematic to dry the vase, but you can make a design from thick paper and buttons as shown in the photo below.

  1. The drying method depends on the paint you choose. The manufacturer, as a rule, indicates the required baking temperature (if required) and time. Baked acrylic paints dry for about half an hour in an oven at a temperature of 170 degrees, and then it is advisable to leave the bottles to dry naturally for 1-2 days to make the coating as durable as possible. The spray paints that were used in this master class do not need to be baked, but they dry in 24 hours.

With the help of this master class, you can come up with a variety of designs by playing with color, width and placement of tape or elastic bands.

For example, you can use unusual shades - bottles painted in delicate pastel colors or gold or silver paint look very impressive. Take a look at the following selection of photos - these are the colors that are best for decorating glass bottles to decorate a wedding or party.

And here's another one original idea- by pulling an elastic band or sticking adhesive tape diagonally, you can only paint over the bottom of the bottle.

Master class number 2: Painting a bottle with contours

And now let's proceed to a more complex and lengthy, but very beautiful way do-it-yourself bottle decor - painting with volumetric contour paints. With their help, you can draw patterns and ornaments in ethnic style, apply a complex and simple drawing or write beautiful inscriptions, monograms, initials (photo below).

You can also draw with contour paints using the dot painting technique as in the photo below.

And in combination with stained glass paints contour painting will turn into stained glass.

Materials: any alcohol-containing degreaser, cotton pads and sticks, a needle and contour paints. If desired, the painting can be supplemented with sparkles, as well as acrylic and stained glass paints, as in this master class.

Tip: if you do not have contour paints or drawing with them seems difficult to you, then you can draw with the help of improvised means: toothpicks, needles, cotton swabs or a thin brush.

Technics:

  1. First we need to come up with an idea and prepare a supporting sketch. It can be found on the Internet and printed in a suitable size or drawn by hand. You can also use a homemade or ready-made template or stencil.
  2. If you are confident in your sight drawing skills, you can skip this step. If you are a beginner, then it is better to transfer the desired picture onto glass, that is, outline the main details and lines of the drawing / pattern. To do this, you need to: draw or print a picture, cut it out (roughly), then tightly paint over its reverse side with a soft simple pencil, and then attach the picture with a shaded inside to the glass and circle all or only the main parts of the picture with the same pencil. Barely noticeable, but useful lines should remain on the bottle. If the image is not too complex, then it is enough to outline the main details right on the bottle.
  3. Now you need to degrease the glass and wait until it dries.
  4. If desired, you can cover the entire bottle with colored acrylic paint and wait for it to dry completely.
  5. Let's start painting: we circle all the contours, from time to time cleaning the nose of the tube with a needle and, if necessary, correcting flaws with a cotton swab moistened with water. Drawing is more correct to start with large details.

  • If you are drawing in outline stained glass technique, then the contours must be closed, and the stained glass paint must be in contact with them. Also make sure that all parts are completely painted over without paint over, otherwise the coating will be short-lived. Filling the contours with stained glass paints is possible only after 2 hours, but you can speed up their drying with a hair dryer;

  • In the technique of dot painting with a contour, the main thing is to observe the same and minimum interval in one line of the drawing and maintain the same diameter / volume of dots (in one line).

Tip: First, practice drawing with a path or dotting on paper. Remember that you need to press on the tube with the same force.

  1. When the drawing is ready, you will only have to dry or wait for the paints to dry, following the manufacturer's recommendations. Most often, painted glass is baked in an oven at a temperature of 170 degrees for about 30 minutes or left to dry naturally for a day.

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the following video tutorial, where you can see how to decorate a bottle with your own hands using contours in a chiseled technique.

But others interesting ideas painting bottles with contours for your inspiration.

Master class number 3: how to cut a bottle and make a vase, candlestick and other decor items out of it

So, we figured out the painting and decor. And now let's talk about how to make a vase, a pencil holder, a glass or some kind of interior decoration out of an ordinary bottle, as in the photo below.

You can cut a glass bottle with your own hands different ways. In this master class, we use the most simple ways which can be easily repeated at home.

Method 1. How to cut a bottle with alcoholized thread

This method is more suitable for cutting wine bottles and bottles with thin glass.

  1. First you need to wrap the bottle with thick cotton thread and cut off the excess ( top photo left).
  2. Now this thread needs to be moistened in any alcohol-containing solution - white spirit, ethyl alcohol or nail polish remover, as in this master class. After the thread gets wet well, it must be wrapped around the bottle again in the right place.

  1. Now you need to carefully set fire to the thread, quickly rotating the bottle until the flame goes out.

  1. Next, you need to lower the bottle into a previously prepared container with boiling water for 3 minutes, and then quickly lower it into cold water- from a sharp temperature drop, the glass should crack in the right place.

Tip: If you want to make a vase from a bottle of champagne, then steps 2-4 will most likely need to be repeated.

  1. Carefully break the bottle, and then process the sharp edges with sandpaper - first coarse-grained, and then fine-grained. Voila, the bottle vase is ready!

Method 2. How to cut a bottle with a glass cutter

You can also cut the bottle with a glass cutter. For this you need:

  1. Make an incision with a glass cutter. To make the edges even, you can sharply wrap the bottle with an elastic band or tape before sharply. Instead of a glass cutter, you can use a glass drill;
  2. Then we burn the place of the incision, then we lower the bottle into boiling water for three minutes, and then into a container with cold water;
  3. Carefully break the bottle;
  4. We process the edges with sandpaper. (Rate the content! Already voted:

A vase from plastic bottles can be made very easily and quickly. Please note that if you are going to use paper or any other easily wet materials for decoration, then only dried flowers can be placed in such a vase.

And when making flower pots, do not forget to make small holes in the bottom so that the water does not stagnate.

Step by Step Lesson #1

You will need:
plastic bottle;
stationery knife;
marker.
1. Take a clean and dry plastic bottle and mark the desired height of the vase on it with a marker. Keep in mind that the edge of the vase will be wicker, so the mark should be placed about 7.5 - 8 cm above the desired level. Cut off the top of the bottle using a utility knife.

2. Along the upper edge of the bottle, make vertical cuts at the same distance from each other to a depth of 7.5 - 8 cm.

3. Gently bend the resulting strips outward. To make the fold even, turn the bottle over and press it against a flat surface (for example, against a table).

4. Now you need to "braid" the edge of the vase. To do this, take one strip, bend it to the left and, skipping one strip, fill under the other two.

From plastic toys you can make a lot of different toys, for example, a penguin, a boat, a peacock and even a tree!
5. Bend the next strip to the left as well, but this time skip two strips and tuck under the third.

Repeat until you have braided the edge and all the strips have been braided.

If desired, you can paint the vase in any color you like using acrylic paint or spray paint from a can.

Master class №2

You will need:
2 liter plastic bottle;
grains of peas, beans or beans;
stationery knife, ruler, marker, hot glue gun and spray paint.
1. First, cut off the neck of the bottle at the desired height.
2. Using a marker, draw vertical stripes from the cut to the bottom of the bottle, placing them at the same distance from each other.
3. Using a hot glue gun, glue the grains to the surface of the bottle, placing them along the previously drawn lines.
4. After that, paint the vase with spray paint and leave to dry.

Vase number 3 do it yourself

You will need:
empty plastic bottle;
colored paper;
glue stick;
scissors;
knife.
1. Wash and dry the plastic bottle thoroughly, then mark the desired vase height. Cut off the neck.

2. Take the paper of the color you would like to paste over inside vase and tear it into small pieces and glue them on the inside of the vase. Continue gluing until you cover the entire plastic surface with paper.

3. Wipe off excess glue with a napkin and smooth the seams with your fingers so that the surface is more or less smooth.

4. Do the same on the outside of the vase, this time choosing paper in a contrasting color.

After the work is finished, trim the excess edges of the paper that stick out.

Lesson #4

You will need:

2 plastic bottles;
scissors;
stationery knife;
glue or tape (optional)
1. Wash the bottles, tear off the labels and cut off the necks.
2. Using a utility knife, cut the bottles into petals, as shown in the figure, and bend them outward. Secure them in this position with tape or glue.
