I offer mine original recipe cooking: young fried zucchini with garlic and ham under sour cream - cheese sauce. This dish can be prepared with or without garlic. It all depends on the time of day when you serve it to the table.
There are people who do not tolerate sour cream and dairy products. This is not a reason to refuse to try such a dish. Sour cream can be replaced with mayonnaise in the sauce. And if it seems too greasy, you can use fat-free mayonnaise or soy. It turns out delicious and unusual. I served the dish like this, but if you have tomatoes, you can decorate each piece of zucchini with a tomato wedge. Then the dish will sparkle with new colors. Tomato will add its own touch of spicy taste.
Ingredients:
Rinse zucchini or zucchini well running water. Cut off the buttocks and cut into circles, 0.5-1 cm thick. Salt and pepper each circle of zucchini on both sides to taste. It is not necessary to let the zucchini lie down so that excess moisture is released. They are ready to be roasted right away.
In a well-heated frying pan with the addition of a small amount of oil, fry the zucchini on both sides until golden brown. It will take 1.5-2 minutes for each serving. Put the fried zucchini on a flat dish or a large plate. Let it cool down a bit. This must be done so that the sour cream in the sauce does not curl and curdle.
Grate hard cheese. Put the grated cheese into a bowl.
Add finely chopped ham. Peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater. Garlic can be omitted if you have business meetings or other business trips coming up. It is believed that dried garlic does not betray the insidious aroma to the breath. You can use it.
Add sour cream and chopped herbs. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Add some salt and spices to taste. Stir the sauce. We will get a homogeneous mass of medium density. You can adjust the density of the mass yourself. From my experience, I can say that making the sauce too thick is not worth it. It will be tastier and juicier to make the sauce a little thicker than sour cream.
Using a tablespoon, spread the resulting mass on each fried circle of zucchini. Spread so that the sauce lays in an even layer.
