Landscape design and layout

The theme of the material that us further was the GOST for steel doors equipped with locking devices, and installed in industrial and civil buildings. The only thing that this standard does not apply is to the doors to which special requirements are presented: resistance to aggressive substances, explosion resistance, bulletproofness and fire safety.

The use of all other products that, among other things, will also tell and video in this article depends on the conditions of their operation, and GOST DOORS 31173 is regulated.

Steel doors GOST 31173 2003, classified six main features. First of all, it is, of course, the appointment, as they can be: street, internal and tambourines. And the inner doors can be entrance apartment, and operating as an ordinary interroom door.

Construction differences

The second feature determines the design of the door block. Here the difference can be in the box, as it happens closed; represents the letter "P"; Either is equipped with a threshold, which is a challenge.

 • The following classification feature concerns the number of cloths and the options for their opening. The most common doors with one canvas - left or right opening. Next comes, whose canvases can either be the same or have different widths.

 • - most often this is the frontal models, can also be decorated with inserts. This is either a rectangular or semicircular fraumuga, which is horizontally over the opening, or narrow unopened canvas on the sides of the canvas. It is this option that we see on the photo from above.

They distinguish the doors and by the direction they open: outward, or inside. It also value how many sealing contours is located in the focus. They are more often two, but maybe more.

Facial Options and Operational Indicators

The fourth sign, according to which the steel doors of GOST 31173 2003 are classified - these are their face finish.

It provides for the whole seven options:

 • At number one goes paint - both traditional and powder. These are the most popular finish options (see): In the first case, the main criterion for choosing products by the consumer is a low price, and in the second - the incredible strength of the coating, which has already been nicknamed by anti-vandal.
 • Next comes options with natural or artificial leather facing and insulation; decoration by film coatings; Facing with wood rolled or slab materials (veneer, MDF lining). By the way, many of these types of finishes can be performed on old or doors with their own hands.

Note! On all types of polymer coatings used to decorate doors, the manufacturer must submit a conclusion confirming their sanitary security.

 • Very nice on the doors, especially the front, looks glass or mirror finish. Alternatively, the canvas is enjoyed by a metal pad with a beautiful milling or engraving, or several finish methods are combined in one model. In general, having coordinated its actions with the customer, the manufacturer can fulfill any other type of decor - at least gilding.

As for the heat engineering properties, according to GOST, the steel outdoor doors are separated by heat transfer resistance to three classes. The minimum of this indicator should be 0.4 m2 * C / W.

All that is less, is not subject to classification. The highest class - with heat transfer resistance of more than 1 m2 * C / W. There are in the standard and table, which presents the desired performance of air permeability and waterproof.

Soundproofing for steel doors has no less important. Here are also three classes, the separation of which is carried out in terms of noise reduction.

The indicators of Mene 20 decibell are not subject to classification. The third class is the lowest, with indicators up to 25DB, in the second grade up to 31 db, well, the first class is more than 32dB.

Mechanics and security quality products

Standard on the doors made of metal represents the same table with the durability indicators that are also divided into three classes. In total, there are five different characteristics in which the values of which doors are related to one or another class. It is installed on the worst test result.

This is the resistance to static loads acting in the plane of the canvas; perpendicular to the canvas; And in the loop zone. The level of resistance to the dynamic effect is also regulated in the direction where the canvas opens, and the shock influence in both directions.

By security properties, the doors are classified as:

 1. Doors of standard performance. They are equipped with lock mechanisms not lower than the third grade (M3), and anti-loop pins.
 2. Blocks reinforced. Here, reinforced door hinges are added to the above, and locks with a large number of riglels that can lock the door throughout the perimeter of the constructor. Their strength must correspond to the second class (M2).
 3. Protective door blocks. These are all the same reinforced blocks, but the characteristics of the locks installed in them must correspond to the first class of strength (M1).

 • To learn about the doors reinforced before you, or protective, you can and on their marking. It is simply added to the corresponding letter "y" or "s". In general, this standard recommends that manufacturers in the passport on the product specify all the data mentioned above. They are encrypted in marking.

Information should include: a design solution; Option of filling the canvas and its face finish; dimensions; Class of the castle. The passport must be attached to the opening scheme of the web or the canvas, as well as the installation and operation instructions for the product.

Requirements for steel doors

Paragraph The fifth standard we discussed, voicates the list of requirements that are presented to the door blocks made of steel. Among the general provisions are information that the web is a welded design, for the manufacture of which steel sheets are used or bent profiles.

Welding is a mandatory connection of parts. Other types of compounds are permissible only if according to the strength characteristics they are ahead of the welds - but this is generally unlikely. With regards to structural solutions are cloths, then the standard presents four main options.

Constructive varieties of beans

The first option is: the canvas is made on the frame of profiles with a closed hollow section, and two steel sheets are welded to it. In this case, the filling of the canvas is used cellular (corrugated cardboard, or organitis). The second variety of metal doors looks like a bending box, mounted on profiles with a P-shaped section. Inside, such canvases are filled with polystyrene foam.

 • In the third embodiment, the frame frame is welded from the profiles of a more complex section, filled with a mineral insulation, and is closed outside the steel sheet, and from the side of the room with sheet woody material - for example, the firmware. It is this type of door that you see in the bottom of the bottom.

 • The fourth version is also combined: the frame filled with foam is made of wooden bars - and only its faces are protected by an angular steel profile. The outer and inner side, as in the third case, is closed on one side with steel, and on the other hand, a wood fiber sheet.
 • Regardless of the constructive option, the furnaces must be used in the canvases - ribbon ribs that increase the frame of the canvas. They may not only be vertical or horizontal, but also inclined. Bulk zones, as well as places where anti-binding pins are installed.
 • In the manufacture of metal cloths, the standard admits the inside of the inside is not a solid steel sheet, but with cutting blanks, welded with each other by a profile that reinforcing the seams. On the inner sheet, the hatcher must be provided, which is necessary for the repair of the lock or latch.

 • Shut-off mechanisms, which include not only locks and latches, but also valves, fasten on special lining, screws and clamping brackets with thread. Welding is not used, since in its process you can easily spoil some details of the lock.
 • The holes in which the Casins are included or the lock can be protected by a metal box, which is welded into the frame profile. The entry of the base when closing the lock must be free - and for this, the size of the opening must be greater than the segment of the basement at least 2.2 cm.
 • The proper sound insulation is achieved by installing two sealing contours. Gaskets are mounted throughout the perimeter of the canvas, not allowing the slightest clearance. If the door block is designed for an outdoor installation, then seals must be resistant to humidity and temperature differences.

It should be noted that on the door according to GOST 31173 2003 - namely, their size and weight, there are some restrictions. The indicators below should not exceed:

 1. height: 2.2m
 2. in width: 1,2m
 3. on the area of the canvas: 9m2
 4. by weight of the canvas: 250kg

On the door produced with the exceeding the rules given, additional calculations are made, and their compliance with the requirements of the standard is confirmed by the results of individual tests.

 • In order for the removal of the closed door of the closed door with the loops impossible, the design of the product is provided by fixed riggers, or, as they are called, anti-binding pins. They are installed on the frame of the canvas, and are attached with welding, opening, or pressing.
 • The size of the pins, their number and location should be specified in the working drawings. But most often they are provided near the hinges, since this is the most reliable option.

To the door frame can be installed in the opening, it is welded to its profile parts that are called the mounting ears. Other solutions directed by the manufacturer to ensure the strength of the unit installation are also allowed.

Dimensions and permissible deviations

What should be the maximum size in height and width, it has already been mentioned above. In general, metal doors, like any others, are performed in standard versions.

If it is a one-board door, then the most running dimensions: for the inlet door 2.1 * 0.9m, for the inner door 2.0 * 0.8m. Although, of course, options can be different. In any case, the dimensions, and the drawings deposited on the canvas, are necessarily reflected in the technical documentation of the product.

 • In addition to the size of the door itself, it reflects the cross-section of profiles, detailed sizes of nodes and gaps. In the drawings, the locations of the position of the locking devices, holes, for them, and loops are indicated. The standard also contains a table in which the maximum permissible deviations from the dimensional intervals are determined.
 • If you say in general terms, then 3 mm is a maximum that is allowed only on the inner size of the box with a height of more than 2m. The minimum is allowed on the outer size of the canvas, which is 1 mm / 1000 mm. In the gaps under the outlook there should be no difference more than 1.5 mm.

 • The manufacturer must with the same thoroughness to control the length of the diagonals, and the facial trim, and the rectinence of the edges of the frame and the canvas. All geometric parameters are calculated taking into account the design features of the product, its installation technology, and in accordance with Standard 21778, operating since 1981.
 • GOST, which in this article talks, makes requirements for both the materials that are used in the production, component elements and seals and finished products. In particular, steel elements should not have curvatures, cracks, shells, dents and rust. Although a small waviness that does not damage the aesthetics of the product as a whole is allowed.

Delivery of the steel door block is carried out assembly with a locking device. This is necessarily - but such components like eyes, the opening angle limiter, the closer, are installed on the additional coordination of the customer. The product should be a label, or a marker inscription informing about what manufacturer when, and at what order it made it. Also, the block should be labeled marking and a separation stamp that carried out technical control.

The main function of the metal doors is to protect the room from an external atmospheric impact, noise, as well as from unwanted penetration. Modern metal door blocks must meet the requirements of existing regulatory documents, being durable and durable.

Specific requirements for the steel door are largely dependent on operating conditions. In some cases, the design of the metal door requires the installation of additional means of protection, heat and noise insulation. Detailed information about this in our article at.

Basic requirements GOST 31173-2003 "Blocks of door steel"

The main standard that defines the requirements for metallic doors is GOST 31173-2003 "Blocks of door steel". This GOST contains requirements for steel door blocks with locking mechanisms. Additional fire safety requirements, bulbs and resistance to the effects of aggressive environments are not contained.

According to GOST 31173-2003, the metal door can represent the design of metal sheets and profiles. Profiles are allowed to use both straight and bent. Profile angular compounds should be connected by welding or other types of compounds while preserving the strength of the structure.

The standard also places the requirements for the door frame: it must be made of a bent profile more than 1.5 mm thick either from a rectangular profile by cross section of more than 40x50 mm.

Any serious doors manufacturer must necessarily test its products for compliance with the characteristics of regulatory requirements. As a result of testing, it is issued a certificate of conformity on the product. This certificate must be from the seller. Check this!

The design of the metal door should contain reinforcing profiles. The design should contain at least two horizontal and vertical profiles, you can also use inclined reinforcing profiles. At the same time, horizontal profiles should be placed in the zone of anti-removal mechanisms or in the loop area.

Outdoor and inlet metal doors should contain two or more contour sealing padsmounted without gaps and resistant to climatic and atmospheric influences.

The requirements of GOST 31173-2003 apply only to the metal doors of the following dimensions:

 • The area of the door canvase is less than 9m2.
 • The height of the opening canvas is less than 2200 mm.
 • The width of the opening canvase is not more than 1200 mm.
 • Mass of the door leaf - no more than 250 kg.

Classification of doors according to GOST

GOST 31173-2003 offers several classifications of metal doors.

Metal door blocks are divided into the following types of destination:

By type of design, metal doors are divided into:

 • Closed boxes.
 • With a P-shaped box.
 • With a p-shaped box with a good threshold.

There is also a classification by the number of caved and the direction of their opening:

 • Single-bed.
 • Two (width of the door cloths can be different).
 • With non-opening inserts (vertical or horizontal).
 • Opening inside.
 • Opening outwards.

By the number of sealing contours, door blocks are divided into:

 • Metal doors with one seal circuit.
 • Metal doors with two and more seal contours.

Need to remember

Even if you have installed a reliable, manufactured according to the requirements of the GOST entrance door, should not be neglected using security alarm. Details on modern alarm systems can be found in our.

Metal door blocks may have the following finish:

 • Paint or powder materials.
 • Artificial or genuine leather and insulation.
 • Decorative film materials.
 • Wood materials (it is allowed to use a natural or synthetic veneer).
 • Glass or mirror materials.
 • Combined finish.

Also, metal doors are divided into several strength classes (M1, M2, M3) by resistance to various types of static, dynamic and shock loads.

Requirements for materials and accessories details

Materials and components used in the production of door blocks must be manufactured in accordance with approved standards and specifications.

The surface of steel elements of the design of the door leaf should be smooth and smooth, not to have cracks and curvatures, permissible waviness on the front surface is not more than 0.5 mm.

Materials intended for the manufacture of metal doors and their components should be resistant to climatic influences. Steel elements must comply with the requirements of GOST 380 standards, GOST 1050 or GOST 5632.

Sealing pads must be installed tightly, without gaps, throughout the perimeter of the box, and satisfy the requirements of GOST 30778.

Requirements for hinges, castles and other locking devices

Specifications, fastening method and location of locking devices and loops are installed in the working documentation. This parameters affect the dimensions of the opening items of the product, its mass, as well as the conditions for its operation.

Loops are attached to the door frame using welding or on mechanical connections. When preserving the strength of the structure, the use of other types of fasteners is allowed.

Block 50% of the article starts

Depending on the purpose and operating conditions, the metal door blocks are equipped with valves, closers, opening angle limiters, chains, eyes, etc. Fasteners and door devices must comply with the requirements of GOST 9.303 "Coatings Metal and non-metallic" and GOST 538 "Keeping and hardware products" .

The installed locks and loops should not prevent light, but reliable locking the door leaf.

Requirements for finishing products

Type of finishing coating and finishing quality The manufacturer coordinates with the consumer and prescribes in the contract. The quality of the finishes is estimated according to the samples, approved in advance with the customer.

The main criterion for selecting facing material are operating conditions.

The main regulatory documents regulating the state of metal surfaces, the requirements for paintwork and their designation, are GOST 9.402, GOST 9.401 and GOST 9.032.

The first coating layer is applied primer paint, then protective and decorative materials are already applied. More detailed requirements for surface quality with complete paintwork are contained in GOST 9.301 standards and GOST 9.032.

When using parts from wood, GOST 2140 should be guided, the wooden surface should have a roughness of no more than 60 μm, and the humidity of the breed 8 is 12%.

Operating indicators of metal doors, including noise insulation parameters, are installed in project documentation and tested in test centers.

According to the requirements of GOST 31173, the door blocks must have at least 20 dB sound insulation.

There are 3 class of sound insulation for steel door blocks:

Metal door blocks are divided into 3 grades of the resistance of heat transfer:

1 class - 1.0 m ° C / W and more
2 class - 0.70 - 0.99 m ° C / W
Grade 3 - 0.40 - 0.69 m ° C / W

To ensure proper levels of thermal insulation, outdoor doors are equipped with at least two sealing circuits.

Increased thermal insulation also contributes to the use of special materials for filling the door leaf (mineral or basalt wool, foam, etc.).

Requirements GOST 51072-2005 on protective entrance doors

According to GOST 51072-2005, "protective doors" The door protective is a protective means having a door leaf in its design, a door frame and one or more locking devices and resistant to installed methods of exposure.

7.3.4 Wind Load Resistance Determine according to GOST 26602.5.

7.3.5 Reliability indicators, static, dynamic, shock loads and ergonomic indicators of door blocks are determined by test laboratories, annex in this standard and GOST 30777.

Testing locking devices for reliability, load resistance and compliance with ergonomic requirements are carried out on special equipment (stands) on regulatory documents, programs and methods of testing laboratories.

After testing, the product must maintain performance.

When determining the resistance to the dynamic loads, mimic the load arising with a sharp opening of the door leaf (for example, during drafts) at the moment of contact of the door web with the slope of the doorway.

The test to determine the resistance to the blow by a soft inelastic body is carried out by a three-time blow, for example, a peer with a diameter of the lower part (300 ± 5) mm and a mass (30 ± 0, 5) kg, from the height of 5.3.4 in the central zone of the sample. After testing, the residual deformation should not exceed 2 mm.

At the end of testing, door blocks must maintain performance, while the locks of the lock and the latch should be freely enter their response parts.

Before and after testing door blocks on trouble-freeness, it is recommended to check the density of the fitting of sealing pads according to 7.2.6.

When testing the door blocks to determine the resistance of the static load (see Appendix B), acting perpendicular to the plane of the web in the free corner zone, it is recommended to use a graph of the deflection of the free angle of the web from the accompanying load provided in Appendix A.

When applying the load in the plane of the door leaf, the canvas should be open 90 ° in relation to the box. The cargo is applied in the zone of free angle, withstand at least 5 minutes. Analyze deformation, including the leaping of the hinges from the canvas or box.

7.3.6 When testing the door blocks to determine the impact load resistance created by a solid body, conduct a three-time blow to the center of the door web and, if necessary, in the angular zones with a solid body weighing 2 kg. The average value of the damage diameter from the impact should not exceed 2, 0 mm, depth - 1, 5 mm. After testing, door blocks must be maintained.

7.3.7 Resistance to corrosion of metal door blocks and locking devices are determined according to GOST 9.308, GOST 538 and regulatory documents for specific products.

7.3.8 Locking products must be tested, followed by the assignment of an autopsy resistance and hacking class in accordance with GOST 5089, GOST 19091, as well as with regulatory documents * (6), operating in the territory of the State party to the Agreement adopted this standard.

7.3.9 Winds on the door blocks of group A are measured by regulatory documents for test methods, taking into account the fact that the entrance doors in the buildings are located on the first floors of buildings. After testing, the value of the deflection should not exceed 6 mm. Elements of structures must withstand wind loads without destruction, the door canvas must be closed (all locking devices must be in the engagement).

Note - Destruction and replacement of glass or glass is allowed.

7.3.10 Methods of quality control of welded connections are established in the manufacturer's technical documentation in accordance with GOST 5264.

B.2.2 After removal of the load, the presence (or absence) of the residual deformation is detected. If the residual deformation (in the free corner zone) does not exceed 1/5 of the seal thickness (see 7.2.6), the test door withstood. Otherwise, the gap for the passage of air will open and the sound insulation indicators will be reduced, hacking resistance.

B.3 Resistance to the static load applied in the loop zone perpendicular to the plane of the door canvase

B.3.1 When determining the resistance of the static load applied in the loop area perpendicular to the plane of the door leaf, the load (sequentially from less to the greater) is applied in the direction of opening of the web (while the door must be closed on all constipation) in the area of each loop (the application points are specified ) For 5 min.

B.3.2 After removal of the load, the presence (or absence) of residual deformation is detected. If the residual deformation in the zone of each loop does not exceed 1/5 of the seal thickness (see 7.2.6), the test door withstood. Otherwise, the gap for the passage of air will open and the sound insulation indicators will be reduced, hacking resistance. Dynamic load application schemes are shown in Figures B.1 - B.3.
