- Profitable purchase, as he says, first of all, the price.

1 - this model collected the best opportunities and competitive price;

2 - full-frame technique with the best sensitivity indicator;

3 - a full leader in its category with a wide range of useful features.

What is distinguished by mirrorless technique? This is primarily an electronic viewfinder. It is with it that it is possible to maintain the compactness of the models of this category.

Since the 2000s, the first mirrorless cameras began to appear. At that time, they could not find such popularity as they enjoy today. This is explained too high worth, which is completely not justified, due to the scarcity of the functional. Today's mirror is almost identical to mirror technology. True, they are still far from professional technology. It cannot be argued that the messrooms are enjoyed by tremendous popularity. Little inhibits this process overestimated cost.

Famous manufacturers of mirror photographic equipment Canon and Nikon are not lagging behind in the development of their technologies and did not remain aside from the idea of creating their version of mirror-free cameras. However, it is not yet possible to take the leading position in this nomination. The unconditional winners in this nomination are Olympus, Sony and Panasonic trademarks.

Little steps Magnificent technique conquers the camera market. Perhaps soon they will be able to make a healthy competition to the mirrors. The case is behind small. The consumer holds back not only the cost, but also the lack of awareness of the new product.

Below will be presented top leaders among mirror photographic equipment, oriented to different user classes.

Leaders in the category Magnical Cameras, for beginners

The Lumix DMC-GH4 Body model from the Panasonic brand ranks third in the firewall rating for more confident photographers. With this device it becomes possible to produce a video in 4K format. The camera appeared back in 2014.

Model Lumix DMC-GH4 Body is more relevant to recording video than for photographing, because the entire functionality of this device favors it is to record video. In the menu you will find a lot of settings that give your movie more effect. If you wish, you can change optics, thanks to which new experimental masterpieces are obtained.

Of the numerous advantages of this model, you can also note high rapidity. However, not everything is so perfect. The camera at such rapidness cannot fully control the noise level and withstand sharpness.

This model is released with the correction of numerous shortcomings that were in the past model.

Evaluation (2018):4.7

Benefits: Full-frame technique with the best sensitivity indicator

The product of the Sony Alpha ILCE-7S Body brand is, a kind, step in in front of the improvement process of mirror technology for photographs. With this model, it becomes a real recording in the dark and in weakly excluded premises. All this is achieved due to the increase in pixels. You can make an entry without a noise. You can achieve an ISO indicator of about 6400. The speaker range is truly impressive.

Many buyers celebrate a pleasant design and durable case material. Thanks to the autofocus you can shoot in motion and not be afraid for the quality of the frames received or video.

It would seem that everything in this model is harmonious. There is, however, a significant drawback is the battery capacity. The device works for a short time on one charging. Due to insufficiently high rapid rates, you will not be able to fully enjoy the reportage shooting.

The model copes with shooting in the dark.

When working with this camera, it is possible to do without a noise with an ISO 3200 indicator. Due to the lack of a low-frequency filter, it became possible to achieve excellent sharpness in the images obtained. The abundance of the functional, which implies this model, requires a competent approach, in order to avoid its conclusion.

With Sony, you can produce great videos in your quality. The weight the necessary conditions here are observed.

Full-frame migratory Sony cameras are very popular. Many fans of this system are talking about the unconditional victory of this format over the mirror chambers, but not everything is so cloudless. Sony promotes its cameras based on several statements. Consider them in order.

Statement No. 1: Compactity

First of all, we hear that the full-frame mammaker is more compact than mirror chambers with a sensor of the same format.

Let's look at this statement. Using Camerasize.com, you can compare the dimensions of the chambers and lenses.

Consider Sony A7RII, Canon 5DS and Sony A99. Each camera with a lens 24-70 f / 2.8, which is available specifically for this camera type. As you can see, the total length is the same. Sony failed to overcome the laws of physics. If you reduce the camera, you will have to add a length lens.

Thus, you have a choice: either buy one large body and many small lenses, or one small camera and a large number of large lenses. Many photographers wear a large amount of optics with themselves. Thus, the summit volume of the mirror-free chamber equipment turns out to be greater than when using a mirror chamber. Also with large lenses are not the best balance when using a mesmerous chamber.

Sometimes full-frame Sony with lenses even more than the species with the same optics.

Here is a Sony A7RII with a new 85mm F / 1.4 GM compared to Sony A99 with Sony-Zeiss 85mm F / 1.4.

We can also compare this chamber with a mirror canon:

Here A7RII with 85mm f / 1.4 is more than Canon 5DSR with 85mm F / 1.2, despite the fact that Canon optics are more light.

Then, when you compare LEICA SL messenger full-frame chamber with DSLR, the absence of the size of the size becomes even more striking:

From left to right: Leica SL with 50mm f / 1.4 Summicron, Sigma 50mm F / 1.4 ART with Canon 5DSR, Canon 50mm F / 1.4 with 5DSR, and A99 with 50mm F / 1.4.

The only time the messenger chamber wins is a comparison with a pancake lens:

Here, A7RII and A99 are shown with a 20mm F / 2.0 lens.

Interestingly, the Zeiss Batis 85mm F / 1.8 lens gives the same depth of sharpness as APS-C Fuji XF 56 mm F / 1.2. At the same time, for Sony cameras not to find such optics with a diaphragm F / 1.2. Why do you need a full frame, if you can't get a smaller flu than on the APS-C camera.

The only reason for limiting the diaphragm within f / 1.8 is the creation of more compact lenses. If they did F / 1.2, then the optics for full-frame Sony would be even more. But look at it:

Here are shown by Sony A7RII with Zeiss 85mm F / 1.8 Batis, Nikon D810 with 85mm F / 1.8 and FUJI X-PRO2 with 56mm F / 1.2. All sets have the same overview angle due to the crop factor on Fuji. With a maximum diaphragm, all these systems create the same depth of a sharply depicted space along with the same focal length.

If compactness really plays a role, the choice drops on Fuji 56mm F / 1.2.

To really get compactness, you will have to fall to a smaller format. Mirrorless APS-C are actually more compact than the CS-C models:

Here Fuji X-PRO2 is shown with the lens 56mm F / 1.2 and PENTAX K-3 with a 55mm lens F / 1.4. Despite the fact that the Fujifilm lens is more thoroughly, the system as a whole is more compact.

This is the problem: the advantage of the size of the mirrorless APS-C cannot be scaled to the full frame, given the optics size. The chamber body may be less, but you can not remove without lens. That is why with a 50 mm F / 1.8 lens, there is no benefit in size:

Here A7RII is shown with the new 50mm F / 1.8 and 5DSR with 50mm F / 1.8. If you wear a few lenses, then in the case of a mesmer chamber, you feel the disadvantage of optics.

Approval number 2: Weight

The next approval in favor of the full-frame mirror is that the camera weighs less than the mirror. Also refers to a smaller height and width of the camera. Nevertheless, this is the right statement only in part, because Sony sets such small batteries into its cameras, which have to carry several spare batteries with you. This will minimize the difference in the size of the total payload that we have to wear with you.

Here we see the rear view of Canon 5DS R, Sony A7RII and Leica SL.

Approval number 3: Image stabilization in the case

Sony Full-Rate Slies have built-in stabilization based on the sensor shift (IBIS).

Sony had a 2-axis IBIS (Steady Shot) in the mirrors since 2003. Now the system has developed up to five axes and moved to moonful cameras. Pentax also has a 5-axis IBIS in the K-1 chamber. It turns out that the built-in stabilization is not a feature of mirror-free cameras. It can be used in any design. It all depends on the system that the manufacturer is developing.

Optics manufacturers, such as Sigma and Tamron, do not want to spend money on the development of IBIS supporting lenses. The fact is that the sensor moves up and down, as well as to the side when stabilization. Therefore, the lens should provide a larger circle of image so that the matrix does not go beyond its limits. This may affect the quality and cost of optics. Such a system should be developed initially with defined goals. In addition, this approach will affect the size of the lens. So one of the reasons why optics for Sony cameras is so big.

In addition, Zeiss argued that the short distance between the bayonet and the matrix does not allow to implement a high-quality image in wide-angle optics. With a short distance, the rays of light fall on the matrix at a very large angle, which leads to the appearance of artifacts and distortion.

Statement No. 4: Adaptation of non-vectors

Also an important advantage of Sony mescal cameras is that they allow you to use optics from other manufacturers using adapters. Kimio Maki from Sony said the following in an interview:

Do you expect that someone who has a collection of telephoto lenses Canon potentially can use them to shoot sports with A7R II?

I hope our native lenses are better! But it will happen. I see people using A7-series cameras from Sony with third-party lenses all the time ... This happens because people already have these lenses. It works, but our native lenses are much better ...

Adapters certainly make a good job, but they are inconvenient to use and often do not provide full functionality.

Some adapters reduce light transmission about 1/2 stop. The advantage of the native functionality of automatic focus is lost. It is always much better to use native lenses.

Statement No. 5: Preview of real exposition

The following statement lies in the fact that in the electronic viewfinder you can always see the real brightness of the picture. Of course, this is a good function, but the new Patent Canon offers combining an electronic and optical viewfinder. Soon the same feature appears on the mirrors.

conclusions

Mudless cameras do not have significant advantages over the mirrors. Each system can find its pros and cons. If you use one chamber and a couple of lenses, in the case of Sony, you will receive a gain in size and weight, but when working with a large number of optics, this plus flows smoothly into minus.

Most Sony statements about the benefits of their cameras are overvalued. This is a marketing stroke. We are forced to look at small details, such as compact cameras and built-in stabilization and weight, but do not show the picture as a whole, that with the optics of their camera is not compacting devices from other manufacturers.

Much says the speed of autofocus. Undoubtedly, Sony has developed a unique and high-quality autofocus system that can even work with optics from other manufacturers through adapters. It is good in order to lure users of other systems and make purchasing their compact full-frame cameras. But each manufacturer of the mirror has cameras, which is not worse than in Sony with native lenses. So this advantage is only in the fact that you can use different lenses.

Mudless cameras

August 5, 2008 will forever go to the history of photography. On this day, a new class of cameras was announced on the photo exhibition of PHOTOKINA, which gathered the various properties of the mirrors and compact soaps.

In our country, these models have grown the name of the "mudflower", which indicates their main technical feature - the absence of a mirror pentaprisism to sight an image in the viewfinder. But this is not the official name. Worldwide, such cameras are called Evil. This is an acronym of ELECTRONIC VIEWFINDER WITH INTERCHANGABLE LENS Acronym (electronic viewfinder and replacement lenses). In our country, the search for a suitable name was for quite a long time. There were options for "non-delivery", "Dalit Ralea", "Advanced Soaps", but, apparently, the term "mourner" has already finally approved and today is used everywhere.

History of the question

The idea of mirror-free chambers - simple devices without a complex system of mirrors and without a mechanical connection of the viewfinder and lens - not new and directly correlates with the batteries and range cameras in the middle of the last century. Film rankings are precisely this (lack of communication between the viewfinder and the lens) and differed from the film sirrons. The rangefinder was easier in the design and, as a result, cheaper and more reliable. It is no coincidence that Leica II ranking apparatus has become a symbol of World War II. The rankings were also popular in the first post-war decades, and in our country (FED models and "okay") were produced up to the mid-90s.

The main lack of range rays is a system of sight. The photographer estimates the upcoming frame through a special eye, the optical axis of which does not coincide with the optical axis of the lens, as a result of which the frame turns out a little bit like that a photographer saw it (this phenomenon was called "Pararallaks"). In the mechanical era there were still difficulties with focusing (a special device was used - a rangefinder, the name from it was used), it was impossible to view the depth of field, as well as evaluate the exposure. There were other, purely constructive costs. In general, when the photographic equipment has become digital, it seemed that the rangefinder was died forever. But no, they were revived with firecroken, but on a new technological turn.

Comparison of craftsman and mirror chambers

The main difference between the mirrling of the mirror vehicles is the absence of a mirroring mechanism. It is he who redistributes in the mirrors of light streams. When the mirror is omitted, the "picture" goes into the viewfinder when, after pressing the descent button, it rises - all the light rushes on the matrix. There are no such messages, there is no light, there the light always comes from the lens directly on the matrix, which fixes the picture, and creates a "preview" to sight.

The mirror mechanism of roads is folded and takes a lot of space. Therefore, the refusal of it with a time allows you to make cameras cheaper, easier and more compact. Without a mirror there is no noise and lag of the shutter (the device works much quieter and does not vibrate), moreover, it is much easier to increase the speed of serial shooting. It is now limited not to the mechanical abilities of the shutter, but exclusively the speed of reading from the matrix, which is much easier to produce. However, the absence of a mirror mechanism makes put up with some disadvantages and restrictions.

Electronic viewfoots of the messmaker

First, sight. There is no mirror viewfinder on firecroken. Nobody uses the rangefall "peephole" into the digital era, too (although it is present in rare models of soaps and messmaker, but without the possibility of manual focus) - all moved to the electronic viewfinder. This is usually a large screen in the back of the chamber, but on some models additionally there are special eyepieces, which are a small display designed to work closely.

The electronic viewfinder will sometime ever become the ideal way of sight, because the photographer sees a frame in it, how it will be fixed on the matrix: with an exposure adjustment, depth of field, 100 percent coverage. A helpful device will increase the brightness of the viewfinder in the dark, will increase the part of the image for manual focus, directly to the picture will display a histogram and other shooting parameters. But the ideal electronic viewfinder will become only with the rapid development of technologies when their permission comes with the resolution of the human eye. In the meantime, they are worse, when driving in the frame - delays, and visit the bright Sun problem - the screens are glanced.

Phase (top) and contrasting (bottom) autofocus
(on the example of a mirror chamber)

Secondly, autofocus. In the mirrors use phase autofocus. It is implemented by special sensors that use part of the light reflected from the mirror to work. Lummy cards, like soaps, due to the lack of a mirror do not have the ability to use this kind of autofocus. Their goal is a contrast autofocus, which is built on a software analysis of the image for the presence of areas with high color contrast. The contrasting autofocus has its advantages, such as the ability to focus any point (in phase points of focusing a strictly specified number), but in general it loses and according to accuracy (not very strong), and speed (very strong).

Mescard in cut

Third, ergonomics. Compactness and low weight is good, but the square housing is much less convenient than the grip knots on traditional mirrors. Miniaturization has also affected the reduction of management bodies. If in the mirrors most of the shooting parameters can be set buttons on the housing, then in the mirrids you have to climb in the menu. Even sensory screens that are used in some models are not saved.

Comparison of firecakers and compact cameras

Despite the design close in nature, there is a huge technical abyss due to its soap jerseys, due to two factors.

First, the size of the matrix. The quality of photos directly depends on it. Than the matrix is more, the quality above. Large matrices are used in mirrots, in size, similar to the mirror cameras (often it is generally the same matrices). By the quality of the imagemaker, the mudflower is much superior to the soaps and are not inferior to the mirrors. Under quality, we understand and much smaller noise at high ISO, and a wider dynamic range, and better image detail. Much stronger than soaps, mudflowers are able to wash the back background: and due to the larger matrix, and due to the possibility of using high-sound optics. However, the mirrored devices are inferior to the mirroring devices - a smaller working segment is affected (the distance from the lens to the matrix).

With large lenses, the mudflower looks somewhat curious

Secondly, replaceable optics. This is a very large plus messmaker compared to soapboxes. Here and the possibility of using better optics, and the choice of an optimal lens for specific shooting tasks. For all lines, the messengers are released adapters that allow you to use a bunch of various optics on the devices of this type - from mirror lenses of native firms to "glass" with M42 carvings. Moreover, a short working segment allows you to even install the lenses of old Soviet range rays, which are almost impossible to use on the mirrors.

Marketing and areas of use

A special technological breakthrough the creation of mirror-free cameras did not - think, put a matrix from the mirror in the sozerle from the mirror and made interchangeable lenses, "but there was a breakthrough marketing. The market of digital cameras already formed by 2008 was formed and established, and it was impossible to accomplish the rapid jerk in old classes. It is no coincidence that the first mirrorless devices have released companies deprived in the market of mirror chambers (s). The creation of the messmaker became a brilliant marketing idea - without the investment of large cash, on old technologies, simply reproducing them between different types of devices, managed to create a class of cameras, which was interesting enough of a large part of photographers.

The messmaker very, by the way came for advanced lovers who have grown "soap", but do not want to buy a mirror due to difficulty in management and large dimensions. For them, the mirror is the perfect option. Keeping small dimensions and ease of control, it gives pictures of fundamentally new quality and additional creative possibilities from using replaceable optics.

In addition, the lamellar is optimal for professional photographers as a second chamber. They can be used as a notebook photo component, constantly taking with them. Weight and dimensions are allowed. In addition, many photographers, even those that have a mirror camera and a bunch of optics to it, use mirror-skill for travel, where weight and volume are critical. The messmaker is easy and compact, but allow you to get pictures that will satisfy even a person accustomed to good photos from a mirror chamber.

Manufacturers

The leader of the market market is Panasonic. She has released the mirrorless chamber and today has the largest number of models in arsenal. The flagship line is, whose feature is a chic rotary display with a resolution of almost 1.5 million pixels. There are other benefits, but there are no very large price of the device for a very large price of the device - about 45 thousand rubles. Other models (GF1, G10, G2, GF2, GH2, G3, GF3) are easier, less and cheaper. Differences from them, in general, not so much. Case sizes, screen, availability of additional viewfinder, some oversight functions. In general, in the Panasonic lineup, the purchase of a simpler and cheap camera looks more logical. The matrix in all devices of the company - with Crop Factor 2.

Lens and outbreaks at Panasonic micro 4: 3 system. As in the segment of the Slirlock, they are fully compatible and interchangeable with products. The latter has its own line of devices. Olympus Lumermaker are made in retrodismal style: they are very similar to the rangefinder 50s. Now in the lineup 4 of the apparatus: E-P1 and E-P2 refer to the average price segment (18-20 thousand rubles), and E-PL1 and E-PL2 - to the budget (about 15 thousand rubles). Their functionality compared to the older brothers is somewhat trimmed, and the body is made of plastic. Crop-factor matrix - 2.

Samsung, the first to release a mirror with a crop factor 1.5, has 2 models. The most popular - . Its features - a matrix of 14.6 MPIX, serial shooting 3 frame per second, a screen with a resolution of almost a million pixels. Cost of the chamber about 18 thousand rubles. The main problem is a small number of native lenses (as opposed to the micro 4: 3 system, where they have already been released). However, there is an adapter on the bayonet k, which allows the use of Pentax optics.

Finally, while 2 models are released (2 more were announced in the summer of 2011). The company also uses matrices with a 1.5 crop factor and a resolution of 14.6 MPIX. Sonymaker feature - high serial shooting speed (up to 7 frames per second), as well as the ability to shoot video in FullHD. Native lenses have been released about 10, but it is also possible to use the use of Sony and Minolta optics for mirror cameras.

This article will go on firecakes. They call them so for the fact that there is no bulky mirror and optical viewfinder in their design. In the design of the classic mirror, the mirror located behind the lens at an angle of 45 degrees to the optical axis allows you to observe the image obtained directly through the optics installed on the camera directly through the optics. On the quality of the image, its presence does not affect (at the time of shooting it generally rises and closes the optical viewfinder). Due to the large sizes of the mirror itself, the distance between the matrix and the lens increases, which in turn complicates the optical design of the lenses, increases the size of the chamber itself, makes it more cumbersome and noisy.

Mirror or mirrorless camera: what to choose

What is a mirror camera better mirrorless? For a long time, mirror cameras were the most popular among photoelers, as the advantages still blocked the shortcomings. However, progress does not stand still, and modern digital technologies allowed manufacturers to create a new class of cameras. Mudless system chambers have absorbed all the advantages of a mirror camera represented by ease of sight, speed of electronics, as well as the possibility of changing optics. At the same time, the lack of an optical viewfinder and mirrors allow you to make the camera themselves less, easier, with a simpler and efficient design. Initially, occurring as a niche product, this class of cameras every year gains more and more new fans, the number of models in the market is growing airy-like. In all this variety, no wonder to get confused!

System Cameras with replaceable optics

In this article, we have chosen the most interesting representatives of the messmaker or, as they are also called compact system chambers with replaceable optics. We will tell about the models that in their characteristics have already come close to the indicators of mirror cameras, and even surpassed them at all. Mudless cameras can be interesting to a wide circle of people. For example, those who want to step forward from the usual compact soap man or a mobile phone. Intuitively understandable management of most such cameras allows you to familiarize yourself with all the azami photos, staying in the comfort zone. They will also suit those photoelers who have a large park of old high-quality photo optics remaining from film times. Many firms produced adapters for different bayonettes through which you can install and use your favorite lenses on the camera. They are also often chosen as a spare or second chamber, many owners of mirror cameras, and sometimes completely switch from the mirror system to mirrorless!

And even an important moment: some models of the messmaker (for example, Olympus) the price almost did not grow. Other models added as a result of the December rise in price rise not so much as mirror cameras.

Fireless cameras Olympus

If the size and weight is most important for you, then you should look towards mirror-free cameras from Olympus. In their cameras, they use the Micro Four Thirds size matrix (approximately 17.3x13 mm). Such a solution allows you to produce cameras and optics of small sizes. At the same time, the Micro Four Thirds matrix has a sufficiently large size and provides image quality close to APS-C matrices. Olympus in his cameras regarding the quality of the picture squeeze out of the 4/3 sensors literally everything! Among the rich Olympus line, you want to highlight two OM-D E-M10 and OM-D E-M1

In 2014, he received many awards, including from Eisa, Dppreview and Tipa, as a camera with an ideal value ratio in its class. OM-D E-M10 is the continuation of the OM-D series, which conquered the world with its classic design, combined with the latest achievements of Olympus. The camera is very fast. Autofocus speed is only 0.06 seconds, and shooting speed in RAW frame format 8 frames per second. We add to the vast possibilities for customization of the interface, the simplicity of manual and semi-automatic control, shooting in Full-HD format, and you will get a camera that wins most of the mirror cameras, but takes at times less space.

E-M10's elder brother, flagship flagship Olympus Micro Four Thirds. With each of his face, this chamber is sharpened to report and has a rich arsenal of professional solutions. Improved electronic viewfinder with a field of view is greater than many "mirror cameras". A unique 5-axis image stabilizer for photo and video: compensates for jitter in three planes, as well as rotational moments. Fast, like a cheetah, hybrid autofocus. Dust and moistureproof frost-resistant housing. This camera also produces a large number of additional accessories that expand its capabilities even more. From the available accessories, I would like to note the MMF-3 adapter, which allows you to install and use all 4/3 optics functions (such optics was used in Olympus and Panasonic mirrors in the recent past). Autofocus with such optics will work with the phase detection sensors located on the matrix.

Fujifilm Mudless Cameras

The next manufacturer, who also focused its forces on the release of mirror-free cameras and left the seeds without attention, is the Japanese Fujifilm Corporation. The main advantage of Fujifilm is a unique matrix and the optics designed for it. And it is not surprising, after all, all its experience and knowledge gained over the long years of the improvement of color emulsions, Fujifilm engineers adapted under digital technologies. The result of their works was the matrix with X-TRANS technology.

This technology is interesting in that the pixels on the sensor are located in a non-linear manner and due to this disappears the need to use a low-frequency filter. The picture acquires your unique charm, as well as exceptional sharpness in the smallest detail. All these parts make it possible to capture the optics of your own design. Among the cameras from the Fujifilm line, you want to highlight the following mirrorless models.

It is the most affordable model in the camera line from Fujifilm with X-TRANS technology. It differs from their older brothers, primarily the size, as well as the absence of an electronic viewfinder and less developed ergonomics of controls (fewer buttons). The camera is offered in three different colors of the body, has a turning screen, a Wi-Fi function and will be an inexpensive inlet ticket to the world of Fujifilm.

This is a Fujifulm application to the game on the same field as Olympus OM-D E-M1. On the field of reportage cameras in direct competing with mirrors. The model refers to the premium segment and at the moment is the most advanced system mirror-free camera of Fujifilm. Outwardly, it looks like a mirror, but instead of an optical viewfinder, an electronic one is used, which, due to its size and quality, is practically not distincted from optical. The camera is dust - moisture-proof, frost-resistant and has classic shutter speed and exposure controls (the diaphragm on most Fujifilm lenses is installed ring on the lens). X-TRANS CMOS II matrix is used with increased to 51200 ISO. The new processor and electronics practically reduced the inclusion time and the interval between the pictures, which made it possible to obtain a camera with the highest response rate. Phase autofocus with an object movement prediction feature allows you to shoot up to 8 frames per second. To this model, as in the case of Olympus, Fujifilm produced a large line of additional accessories and new dust and waterproof lenses.

Fireless Sony cameras

Speaking of moonful cameras should not be mentioned about Sony Corporation. Among the achievements in this market segment, you would like to highlight two models: Sony A6000 with the most advanced autofocus and Sony A7 II with a 5-axis optical stabilizer on the basis of a matrix shift, first implemented on the full frame.

This is 24-MP APS-C mirrorless camera with bayonet E, produced in three colors. At first glance, her thoughtful ergonomics will be brought into your eyes. The camera goes well in the hand, has a variety of customizable controls, thoughtful interface. But the most interesting is its autofocus system with 4D focus technology. Not only, in speed, he even surpassed mirror cameras from Sony, so also the guidance is carried out in four dimensions: horizontal, vertical, depth and time (meaning predictive algorithms, peeling to predict the movement of an object during the next time). Other features include an extended matrix sensitivity range to ISO 25600, the intelligent electronic OLED-viewfinder of the high resolution, Wi-Fi and NFC data transmission protocols. Another interesting fact is the ability to download various kinds of applications that improve and expand the capabilities of the camera, from PlayMemories Camera Apps.

With a bayonet E and a full-frame matrix, it costs some mansion from all mudflower cameras. This is the first camera in the world with a 5-axis optical image stabilizer implemented for full-frame (24x36 mm) matrix. The stabilizer will work with "native" for this model with optics with bayonet E, and with optics from Sony and Minolta mirrons with a bayonet A (you need the corresponding adapter), and with any other lenses installed through adapters. If the adapter electronics allows the camera to understand which lens is used, the stabilizer is adjusted for the lens automatically. If the lens or adapter does not have electronics at all, then the focal length of the lens will be necessary to specify manually.

Camera autofocus hybrid, maximum accurate and fast, with the possibility of predicting movement. The videographers also appreciate this camera in dignity, since it has a complete set of video recording functions, and at the output gives video to Full HD format with a bitrate of up to 50 Mbps. Add a convenient ergonomic design here, a high degree of freedom regarding the control settings, simplicity of wireless data transmission and convenient loading of additional tools through the branded PlayMemories Camera Apps and we will receive a mirror-free camera with limitless capabilities, and most importantly - with a full-frame matrix.

At the moment, Sigma offers only one SD1 Merrill System Mirror Camera with a SIGMA SA bayonet and an APS-C format matrix. This year, two messenger-free chambers compatible with SIGMA SA bayonet, equipped with electronic viewfidters: SD Quattro (APS-C) and SD Quattro H (APS-H matrix) were announced. Cameras are distinguished by the size of matrices and resolution.

System and intersystem compatibility

As a rule, the lenses of the "senior" photosystems of one company can be successfully used with the "junior" systems of the same company, but reverse compatibility is always problematic. In order to install a full-frame lens on the mirror photo camera with the APS-C matrix, no additional devices will be required. The lens will work perfectly, and its focal length will increase by the value of the crop factor (1.6). Setting a lens with a smaller field of image (designed for cameras with APS-C matrices) on the camera with a full-frame matrix is usually also possible, but in the photo it can be noticeably strong vignetting and the deterioration of the image down to its complete disappearance to the edge of the frame. Improve the result helps automatic or manual cropping, cutting frame edges and reduce image resolution.

Install on the mesmer-free camera with a matrix of any size lens from the mirror system a little more complicated. The working segment of mirrorless cameras is less than that of mirror systems, therefore, for the correct operation of the lens, a special transition ring will be required, the adapter increases the distance between the lens and the photosensitive matrix.

So that the EOS-M canon mirror chamber can set the mound adapter EF-EOS-M to install the Mount Adapter EF-EOS-M adapter.
A similar function from the Nikon One system performs Mount Adapter FT 1.

The range of Sony adapters is somewhat wider, as the company decided to equip its adapters with an additional quick autofocus sensor with a translucent mirror. Sony La-EA4 is a fast autofocus adapter for full-frame mirror-free cameras, and LA-EA2 will suit cameras with APS-C matrices. There are Sony and ordinary adapters without a mirror: La-EA3 is needed to owners of full-frame mirror chambers, and LA-EA1 is suitable for cameras with the APS-C matrix.

Comprehensive optics from mirror photographs 4/3 system with firecakes micro 4/3 system chambers will help Olympus MMF-3 Four Thirds and Panasonic DMW-MA1 adapters. In addition, Olympus produces adapters to use OM system optics with 4/3 (MF-1) and Micro 4/3 (MF-2) cameras.
The result of the cooperation of Panasonic and Leica has become adapters that allow you to use Leica optics with micro 4/3 system. The Panasonic DMW-MA2 adapter will allow you to install Leica M system lenses, and DMW-MA3 - LEICA R. lenses

The case when the company produces "native" adapters to use the optics of other companies with their cameras - rather an exception than the rule. But independent manufacturers offer a lot of all sorts of adapters that allow you to establish the most different optics on the cameras of all systems - the truth, with those or other functional restrictions.
