  • An interactive whiteboard is a touch screen connected to a computer, the image from which is transmitted to the board by a projector.

The interactive whiteboard works both as a computer monitor and as a regular whiteboard. Just touch the surface of the board to control applications running on your computer.

Using the whiteboard, you can open files, surf the Internet, and write over any applications, websites, or videos using special markers. Once you're done, you can save all your notes for later use.

The world's first interactive whiteboard was introduced in 1991. Teachers were among the first to appreciate the pedagogical capabilities of this new technology. Indeed, the use of interactive whiteboards helps to diversify classes, make them bright and exciting.

  • Interactive complex is an interactive information display system consisting of an interactive whiteboard and a short-throw multimedia projector.

Thanks to the special mounting of the projector to the board, shadows and glare on the board are significantly reduced. The projector does not need to be installed separately on a stand or hung from the ceiling, which reduces the cost of owning the complex.
  • Before starting work, the interactive whiteboard is connected to a computer and a projector, or, if it is an interactive complex, then simply to a computer.

If the projector, board or the entire complex has changed its location, it is necessary to calibrate the screen.
  • Depending on the type of board, writing on the interactive whiteboard is done with a special electronic marker, a fake marker, or a finger. The presenter, having picked up a marker, can work with the image on the screen: highlight, underline, circle important areas, draw diagrams or correct them, make corrections to the text. All recorded information automatically appears on the computer screen. You can save all the notes you make in a file.

Touch devices “catch” touches and translate them into corresponding electronic signals that reflect the movement of the writing hand.

Some types of whiteboards come with a tray containing four different colored markers and an eraser. The speaker can pre-set the colors of the markers that he will use during the presentation - then the interactive whiteboard automatically reacts to the marker taken in hand and displays the corresponding color when drawing.
  • Manufacturers of interactive whiteboards use different technologies for the production of interactive whiteboards. The main difference is the technology on the basis of which the position of the writing instrument on the board is determined.

Currently on the market there are:

    • Resistive matrix technology
    • Combination of infrared and ultrasonic technology
    • Technology based on electromagnetic waves
    • Laser technology
    • Optical technology
  • The scope of application of interactive whiteboards and panels is very extensive. You can work with interactive whiteboards both in a large audience and in small groups.

In the field of education, modern audiovisual teaching aids help diversify the lesson: a teacher can give a lecture using simultaneously text, audio and video materials, DVD, CD-ROM and Internet resources. The software allows you to write and mark up directly on top of all kinds of documents, charts and web pages.

Interactive equipment is designed for users of any age and helps maintain a continuous effective learning process, from kindergarten to university. More information about solutions for education can be found in the sections on the use of interactive equipment in preschool, secondary education, secondary and primary vocational institutions, and universities.

In addition, tactile control of the interactive whiteboard helps to conduct non-standard and individual lessons, which is especially important when working with primary schoolchildren or children with disabilities.

Using the software, users of interactive whiteboards have the opportunity to save printed images as a file and exchange information in real time via communication channels - this is especially important for military organizations, situational and crisis centers.

Another wide sector of application of interactive whiteboards is government and business structures within the framework of business presentations and seminars. Software products allow you to make the demonstration bright and lively - the speaker is not tied to the board or podium - with the help of additional equipment you can add all incoming proposals to the presentation from anywhere in the audience, record and save intermediate results of the meeting, communicate with colleagues from other regions and countries

Examples of implemented solutions for the business sector can be found on the website in the section on the use of interactive equipment in the government and business sectors.

  • Research has shown that using interactive whiteboards actually helps with learning. This is a good choice for those teachers who, using modern technical and audiovisual tools and intensive teaching methods, want to interest their students, increase attendance, facilitate learning, and also help students with physical disabilities.

You can work with interactive whiteboards both in a large audience and in small groups. These modern audiovisual teaching aids help diversify the lesson: the teacher can give a lecture using simultaneously text, audio and video materials, DVD, CD-ROM and Internet resources. The software allows you to write and annotate directly on top of all kinds of documents, charts and web pages. Any information displayed on the interactive whiteboard can be printed, saved, emailed, and posted on a website.

Interactive whiteboards do not require much space. If the front projection whiteboard projector is mounted to the ceiling, there is no need to place an additional equipment stand in the middle of the classroom. By purchasing a rear projection board, you can avoid problems with connecting the projector, since it is located behind the screen and forms a single structure with it. There are also mobile models: they are not attached to the wall and can be easily moved from one classroom to another. Interactive whiteboards are suitable for students of all ages: the height of the board can be adjusted to suit any height. Innovative methods and technical means of teaching are available to everyone today.

  • Board mounted on the wall or mobile?

  • Screen calibration is necessary to ensure accurate touch on your interactive whiteboard. For example, if you press the Start button and the cursor appears in a different location, try calibrating your board.

To begin calibration, press and hold the two buttons on the tray (keyboard and mouse) until the calibration screen appears.

  • Usually the moderator checks the lessons within 3-4 working days (if the volume of lessons is more than 150 per month, then up to 7 working days).

Screen calibration is necessary to ensure accurate touch on your interactive whiteboard. With the computer and ActivBoard turned on, lightly press the tip of the ActivPen against the ActivBoard. The cursor on the ActivBoard should align with the tip of the ActivPen. If this does not happen, then the ActivBoard needs to be calibrated.

    • Right-click the ActivManager icon in the lower right corner of the display.
    • Select the "Calibrate" command.
    • Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.

  • The ActivPen can do everything a regular computer mouse can do.

Move the cursor. Lightly touch the tip of the ActivPen to the board; do not press on the handle. Move the ActivPen around the board. The cursor will follow the handle.

    Left click.
Firmly but quickly touch the tip of the ActivPen to the ActivBoard.

Right click. Place the tip of the ActivPen over the ActivBoard less than one centimeter from the board. Press the button on the side of the ActivPen.

Click and drag. Click on the object you want to move, hold the tip of the ActivPen on the board, and move the pen. The object will move with the ActivPen.
Double click. Two firm but quick taps of the tip of the ActivPen on the board perform the same action as double-clicking a mouse button.

  • According to the ActivInspire Product Professional Use License: "A Multi-User License allows installation of the Software Product on up to five (5) computers in the Location specified in your Promethean Partner Agreement or Promethean Agreement (as applicable) , or on the user’s personal computer in the Location or other location. In this case, the Software Product should not be installed on more computers than specified in the License Agreement. For example, a multi-user license for 10 devices on the school premises will allow you to download the Software Product on 50 computers in this school. "

Flipchart is a large rectangular workspace in the ActivInspire window where lessons are developed.

    Some information about flipcharts:

    • When you launch ActivInspire, a blank flipchart opens, ready for you to enter data.">
    • Flipcharts can contain a variety of objects, shapes, and interactive features, including sounds, animations, and actions.
    • You can work with an unlimited number of flipcharts at the same time.
    • Each Flipchart opens in a separate tab in the ActivInspire window.
    • To quickly move between flipcharts, just click on the tab with the required document.
    • Each flipchart can contain an unlimited number of pages.
    • You can create flipcharts of your desktop and make notes on either the active desktop or an image of it.
    • ActivInspire flipchart files have the extension .flipchart.
    • You can convert any flipcharts created in previous versions of Promethean software (version 2.0 and older) to the new file format
  • The ActivInspire app now combines ActivInspire Studio and ActivInspire Primary. You can now switch between these two programs using the configuration panel located in the control panel. The program switch takes effect when you restart the ActivInspire application.
  • If you don't like the default look of the program, ActivInspire offers more customization options.

The traditional menu bar may not be displayed.
  • Dual-user mode allows two users to work on the ActivBoard simultaneously - each with their own pen.
    • Dual-user mode can only be enabled by the teacher.
    • When you launch dual-user mode, the Dual Toolbar appears, which contains a subset of the tools found in the main toolbar.
    • Only the main toolbar user has full access to all ActivInspire features.
    • A person using the dual toolbar can only work on the current flipchart page.
    • The dual toolbar remains under the control of the person using the main toolbar.
    • The dual toolbar can be removed from the main toolbar at any time.
  • Yes you can. But for correct operation you need to install the appropriate additional software:

    • Promethean Mac OS X - for working on a computer running Mac OS.
    • Interwrite software - when working on Interwrite boards.
  • A flipchart can contain many pages and elements, each with its own set of characteristics and properties.
To make it easier to work with these characteristics and properties, ActivInspire provides a browser for each important area. This:

    • Page Browser
    • Resource Browser
    • Object Browser
    • Notes Browser
    • Property Browser
    • Action Explorer
    • Voting Explorer

    Each reviewer:

    • structured to present clear and detailed information about the viewing area;
    • has its own context menu and/or set of icons to help you work effectively with the flipchart.
  • If you experience any difficulties with your Promethean product, the first step is to download and install the latest version of ActivManager/ActivDriver. For this:

    • go to the "Technical Equipment" page http://www.prometheanplanet.ru/server.php?show=nav.19973
    • open the "ActivManager and Driver" tab
    • download and install the driver for your operating system

  • Problem

When working with an ActivPen on a flipchart, the cursor may constantly jump to another place (make so-called “jumps”), or when drawing, sometimes it suddenly moves to another point and begins to spontaneously draw a line there (the so-called “sliding”). Sometimes this can happen at what is technically called the "release point" where the curve becomes much more jagged than it should be.

    Recommendations

First of all, we advise you to reboot your ActivBoard and then connect it to another computer. If this does not help, then the problem is due to a hardware problem. If everything starts to work normally, the reason should be looked for in the software or in the computer with which this problem occurs. In such cases, try updating the driver and software, the latest versions of which can always be found on our website, and also ask your technical support to update your computer and make sure it is fully functional.

If problems persist after this, check the operation of the system with another ActivPen, or the operation of the “suspicious” pen with another ActivBoard interactive whiteboard. If the problem is with your ActivPen, please contact Technical Support with your ActivBoard serial number and we may be able to replace the pen under warranty or make further recommendations.

It also cannot be ruled out that the problem may be caused by external operating conditions. This is highly unlikely as nothing like this has been reported in the past, but try moving nearby electronic equipment on the ActivBoard to a different location and restarting the system. Also try connecting the ActivBoard to a different electrical outlet (preferably the one where the computer is plugged in).

If you continue to experience problems, contact technical support and be prepared to provide your ActivBoard interactive whiteboard serial number, the driver version you are using, and other information from the system information window. To display it, right-click on the ActivManager icon, which is located in the lower right corner of the computer screen next to the clock, and select About from the menu that appears. We may have to carry out additional diagnostics and resolve the issue under warranty.
  • Sometimes there is a mismatch between the ActivPen and the ActivBoard. In such cases, calibration must be carried out as described below.
Click on the ActivManager icon located in the system tray and select Calibrate/Calibration from the menu that appears.
You can also use your ActivPen to touch the light on the left-right corner of the ActivBoard. The system then beeps briefly and launches the calibration tool.
  • To replace the batteries, remove the security screw using the included tool. Carefully slide the battery cover away from the ActiVote body. Remove the old batteries and replace them with 3 new AAA alkaline (alkaline) cells. When inserting batteries, be sure to align the terminals as shown in the battery compartment. Slide the compartment cover back into place and carefully secure it with the security screw without using too much force.
  • Do not use abrasives, soaps, detergents or petroleum-based solvents to clean the ActivBoard surface.
We recommend using only branded products for this purpose that are specifically designed for dry erasing marker inscriptions and drawings.

You can also use water-based cleaners containing ammonia, vinegar or citric acid (for example, those designed for cleaning glass or plastic panels), which do not leave a residual film on the surface. Before using any product, read the label carefully and test its effect on a small area.

To remove stubborn stains and stains such as fingerprints, dirt, dust, grease streaks, pencil marks and markers, you may need a mild cleaner and a soft-bristled brush. After such cleaning, you will need to wipe the surface of the interactive whiteboard a couple (or more) times with a recommended cleaning agent or denatured alcohol.

Scratches on the working surface cannot be removed or hidden, and the ink residues and dirt that accumulate in them are difficult to remove. Do not use metal brushes and scrapers, as well as napkins of dubious quality.

Cans of standard polishing agents for household use will help you restore a smooth work surface after cleaning.

The working surface of all ActivBoard interactive whiteboards fully meets the most stringent durability standards. With normal use and proper maintenance, it will provide excellent conditions over a long period of time.

  • Problem

On the ActivBoard work surface, the cursor may sometimes be on the opposite side of the ActivPen rather than on the same side. When you move the ActivPen towards the center of the board, the cursor also moves towards the center of the work surface, but from the other side.

    Recommendations

This phenomenon may be due to the fact that the image on the ActivBoard was upside down during calibration. Re-calibrate the ActivBoard, ensuring the correct orientation of the image on your interactive whiteboard.
  • The ActivEspression remote control is powered by 3 AA batteries. When the remote control does not turn on, first check to see if the insulating tab has been removed from the battery compartment. If this has already been done, but there is no power, use the supplied torx screwdriver and replace the batteries.
  • The Wireless Upgrade Kit for the ActivBoard 100 includes a power supply that plugs directly into your ActivBoard interactive whiteboard and a 2.4 GHz ActivHub that plugs into your computer.
The wireless connection kit for the ActivBoard 300 Pro contains only the 2.4 GHz ActivHub. If you already have such a hub (it comes standard with ActivSlate, ActiVote and ActivExpression devices in this range) and its firmware is version 5.10 or later, you can safely use it.

    Connection procedure

Make sure the ActivBoard Wireless Upgrade Kit is compatible with your system, the 2.4 GHz ActivHub is plugged into the port, and the computer has detected it.

Click on the ActivManager icon located in the system tray or toolbar, select Registration from the menu that appears, and then click on the Wireless ActivBoard option.

An image of the ActivPen with the right button pressed will appear on your interactive whiteboard desktop, pointing toward the indicator lights in the top left corner of the ActivBoard.

Follow the instructions by moving the ActivPen toward the indicator light in the upper left corner of the ActivBoard, pressing the pen's right-click button until the indicator light begins to blink.

After this, a sequence of three targets will be displayed on the ActivBoard desktop.

When the first one appears, touch the center of it with the ActivPen and press the left button, then wait for the second circle to appear and do the same, which then repeat with the third target.

If the wireless connection is established, the window below opens on your desktop.

If the wireless connection could not be established, the window will look like this:

In the latter case, you need to check whether the power supply is connected to the ActivBoard, whether the ActivHub is detected on the computer, and also make sure that firmware version 5.10 or later is installed. After this, repeat the operations described above.
  • The ActivBoard family of interactive whiteboards are supplied with a 3-5 m USB cable. If this is not enough, the USB connection can be extended as described below.
    A. For a serial connection up to 20 m long, use the Keyspan USB converter, which is compatible with ActivBoard version 2 (it has firmware version 3.xx).
    or
    b. When working with ActivBoard version 3 (ActivBoard 100 or ActivBoard 300 Pro with firmware version 8.xx), use a wireless kit that provides communication at a distance of up to 75 m. It creates a secure and reliable communication channel in the 2.4 GHz band based on Promethean ActivAir protocol.
If you still prefer a USB extension cable, we recommend using active cables with signal amplifiers every 5 m. Please note, however, that in case of problems with the ActivBoard, the first diagnostic measure will be to disconnect such an extension cable and connect the devices using a standard USB cable included with the interactive whiteboard . If after this the connection is restored, then the problem is in the extension cord - it is either faulty or of poor quality.
  • Description

When playing a file using QuickTime, audio sometimes does not come through the ActivBoard 300Pro speakers.
This is most often due to an inconsistency in QuickTime settings that do not match the audio device configured in the QuickTime player for MIDI playback.

    Recommendations

Here's how to get audio streaming through your ActivBoard 300Pro interactive whiteboard when playing QuickTime audio files.

    1) Launch QuickTime.
    2) Open the Edit menu and click QuickTime Preferences.
    3) Select the Audio option.
    4) Replace Music Synthesizer with Promethean Audio Device.
    5) Click the Apply button and then the OK button.
You should then hear sound through the ActivBoard 300Pro speakers.
  • You can register up to 16 wireless ActivSlate tablets in the 2.4 GHz band to the ActivHub 2.4 GHz band. However, it must be taken into account that simultaneous operation on several such devices is impossible: at any given time, communication is maintained with only one of them
  • When conducting surveys using ActivInspire, up to 500 ActivExpression remotes can be used simultaneously. They all register to the 2.4 GHz ActivHub and can communicate with the ActivInspire application on the computer to which the hub is connected.
  • When contacting technical support, you should always indicate the serial number of the device. It will determine the warranty status of the equipment, the date of its purchase/installation, the ActivBoard or ActivSlate model, and the owner. How to find your device's serial number is described below.

    ActivBoard
The location of the serial number label varies depending on your interactive whiteboard model.
On ActivBoard 300Pro models with a gray frame, the frame is located on both sides of the interactive whiteboard. For ActivBoard 100 models with a light gray frame, the serial number can be found on the side of the chassis, in the upper left corner of the chassis from the front.

    ActivSlate
On all ActivSlate tablet models, the serial number is located on a silver label located on the back panel.

    ActivSound
Most ActivSound amplifiers have a serial number label attached to the back of the case. The microphone serial number is usually located on a label in the battery compartment.

    ActiView
The serial number is located on the bottom of the device

  • ActiVote remotes are not compatible with ActivEngage Mobile, either hardware or software.
  • If the ActivPen you write or draw with is causing a broken line on your ActivBoard, it needs to be adjusted. This feature is provided in the Promethean firmware. The broken lines are due to missing pixels at some points where the ActivPen touches the ActivBoard screen.

Holding the ActivPen close to the ActivBoard for a few seconds initiates a synchronization process that improves touch response.

    Setting procedure
Move the Teacher ActivPen away from the ActivBoard, and then bring it back toward the interactive whiteboard, but do not touch the surface, keeping the pen a few millimeters away from the screen.
Hold the pen in this position for a few seconds. After this time has elapsed, the Promethean flame indicator located in the top left corner of the ActivBoard will flash DARK BLUE.

This means the ActivPen setup process is complete, it is synced with your interactive whiteboard, and the line breaks should now be gone.

It is very rare, but it does happen that the pen trace becomes intermittent after changing the ActivPen. In this case, you need to follow the procedures described above.

  • A) The mouse pointer makes sudden movements across the screen.
    or
    B) When writing on the screen, the line trailing behind the pen suddenly “jumps” to another point.

    In both cases
Carry out the checks described below and report their results to technical support, who will tell you what to do next.

    1) Do you have the latest version of ActivManager installed?

    2) Is the latest version of ActivInspire installed? - To check, open ActivInspire, go to the Help menu and click Check for Updates.
If there is a more recent version of the application, you will see an on-screen prompt to download and install it.
Is the problem resolved after updating the driver? - If not, follow the next step.

    3) Is your ActivBoard running the latest firmware?
Is the problem resolved after updating the driver? - If not, follow the next step.

    4) Does this problem occur after connecting another computer to the ActivBoard?
If not, the problem may be caused by electrical noise from the power supply or peripheral devices connected to the computer. Report this to technical support, who will advise what to do next.

    5) Does the problem continue to occur after disabling the touch feature in ActivManager? - To disable this feature, unplug your interactive whiteboard's USB cable from your computer, wait 5 seconds, and then plug it back in. While the ActivBoard LED is blinking amber, click the ActivManager icon in the system tray, and then click the Pens tab. In the window that appears, uncheck the Use your fingers to operate the board and Two fingers Scroll (Mac users only) options.
If the problem no longer occurs, please report this to technical support, who will advise you on what to do next.
If the problem persists, continue to the next step.

    6) Disconnect the laptop from the electrical network so that it receives power only from its own battery, and disconnect all cables from it (Ethernet, VGA, audio, connections to any peripheral devices), except for the ActivBoard USB cable (you can control the behavior of the cursor after this on laptop screen).
If the problem is resolved, the problem may be caused by electrical noise generated by other devices. Put your interactive whiteboard into operation and begin connecting the disconnected cables to the computer one by one. At the same time, observe which of them starts jumping again after connecting which of them, and report this to the technical support service, which will tell you what to do next.
If the cursor continues to jump even after all cables are disconnected, proceed to the next step.

    7) Turn off all lights, air conditioners and other devices powered by electrical outlets in the same room.
If the problem is resolved, the problem may be caused by electrical interference from devices connected to the electrical network of the room. To identify the source of interference, turn on the devices one at a time and report your results to technical support.
If the cursor continues to "jump" even after all devices are turned off, proceed to the next step.

    8) If your system is mobile, try moving it to another room.
If the surges stop, the problem may be related to the environmental conditions in the room. Please report this to technical support.
If the problem persists, contact technical support who will advise you on what to do next.

To connect a different model of projector, go to the ActivTable main menu, click Exit and use the Log off option.
Log in to your Windows account, click the Start button and go to Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Display → Clone.
Log out of your Windows account via the Start menu and log back into your ActivTable account.
When your ActivTable system is connected to your ActivBoard interactive whiteboard using a USB cable, you can control the ActivTable application from both the whiteboard and the Active Table screen. When connecting the ActivTable to an ActivBoard 500 interactive whiteboard, control is limited to single and double taps.
  • First of all, find out the network parameters of your educational institution and the password to access it.
Open the ActivTable main menu, click the Exit button and click the Log off option. Log in to your Windows account, click the Start button and go to Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center.

WORKING WITH INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD SOFTWARE

After all the preparatory work is completed, the interactive whiteboard and its software are installed, all devices are turned on, the Interwrite icon will appear on the taskbar, symbolizing the operation of the Device Manager.

D Device Manager allows you to switch between operating modes of your interactive whiteboard software.

To start working with the interactive whiteboard, left-click on the icon and select the desired operating mode from the menu that appears (see Fig. 3).

The interactive whiteboard software allows you to work in the following modes:

Figure 5. Basic Interactive Whiteboard Software Menu

Interactive mode – THE TEACHER’S MAIN WORK MODE

    ModeOffice

  1. Interactive mode

There are two ways to get started in Interactive mode:

    Select Interactive mode in the Device Manager menu (see Fig. 5);

Press the corresponding button on the Interactive Whiteboard (see Fig. 3)

In interactive mode, you can control your computer directly from the surface of the interactive whiteboard. In interactive mode, the Interwrite Toolbar appears on the right side of the screen.

  1. Office mode

This mode is designed for working with MS Office documents: MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. All changes made in this mode are saved in the original document file. You have the opportunity to work directly with documents, rather than with screenshots.

To start working in Office mode, you must select Office Mode in the Device Manager menu (see Fig. 5)

Toolbar– the main control element of the interactive whiteboard software. The toolbar is always on the screen and provides access to the software menu. The toolbar contains icons for the most used tools.

The interactive whiteboard software is very easy to use. To get the desired result, you need to remember simple rules:

    Select the required tool (if the purpose of the tool is not clear, just move the mouse pointer to its image and read the hint);

    Perform the desired action (get the result);

The toolbar can be moved around the screen, as well as its size can be changed. To do this, you need to perform the desired operations with the mouse, “grabbing” the boundaries of the Toolbar. For a description of the tools, see Appendix 1. On the Toolbar there is the Toolbar icon (Figure 7). It contains icons for those tools that are used less frequently than the tools on the Toolbar. P

Figure 7. Elements panel

The rules for working with the Toolbar are standard for all tools. Clicking on a tool's image launches its function. For example, when you press the pen, you can make your notes.

Let's look at a few of the most important tools on the Toolbox.

Screen keyboard

When working with an interactive whiteboard, you often need to use typed text rather than handwritten text. For example, when entering a large amount of text, creating captions for pictures, etc. If you are directly at the board, it is more convenient to use the so-called “On-screen keyboard” (Figure 8). It fully provides the functionality of a regular keyboard.

The on-screen keyboard icon is located in the Toolbox.

In order to switch the on-screen keyboard layout from Russian to English and vice versa, press the marker first Alt, then Shift.

Figure 8. Screen keyboard

Filming

The Capture tool is used to take a snapshot of the entire screen or part of the screen. The tool is located in the Toolbox.

Capture is necessary for adding notes to the desktop, application windows, open documents or Internet sites. The part of the screen selected using this tool will become available for editing and adding notes. You can choose four options for using this tool (Fig. 9):

Figure 9. Survey tool

    In the Partial mode, using the Shoot cursor, you need to select the area of the screen whose image you want to save;

    In Free Form mode, using a marker, you need to select an arbitrary area of the screen, the image of which you want to save;

    In Window mode, a snapshot of each open window is saved when you hover the Capture cursor over it;

Screen mode saves a snapshot of the entire screen. Pictures in this mode are always added to a new blank page.

Spotlight

The Spotlight tool is used to show a small area of the screen and hide the rest. When a tool is selected, the screen turns black (by default) and a circle appears on it, behind which you can see the contents of the page.

The circle cursor can be used to move the circle around the screen to display different parts of the page. A tool settings button will appear at the bottom of the screen. By clicking on it, you can change the shape of the spotlight, as well as the color and transparency of the curtain that covers the rest of the screen.

The spotlight is convenient to use to attract the attention of the audience. When there are several objects on the screen at the same time, you can select the object that is currently in question and hide the rest.

Sh
torque

The Curtain tool is used to hide a specific part of the screen. The curtain is a rectangular area behind which the content of the page is not visible. “Handles” on four sides of the Curtain allow you to open it to reveal part of the hidden page.

When a tool is selected, its settings panel appears at the bottom of the page.

On it you can select the color and transparency of the curtain, and also expand the curtain to the full screen or close it.
