To prepare the dish you will need:

  • squid - 300-500 g;
  • sea ​​cabbage – 200 g;
  • crab sticks - 200 g;
  • canned corn – 300 g;
  • rice - 1 glass;
  • salt and pepper;
  • mayonnaise.

Rinse the rice well, cover it with cold water and cook for about twenty minutes until tender. Then let it cool and rinse thoroughly. In the meantime, when you have already dealt with the rice, you can start cooking the squid, which are kept in boiled water for about three minutes. Next, cool the product and cut into strips.

Place the squid in a container and add the canned corn, which has been drained of liquid in advance. Chop, not very finely, the seaweed and crab sticks. Season with salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and season with mayonnaise. Place the Neptune appetizer salad in a beautiful salad bowl and can be additionally decorated with parsley.

With squid and peach

The chefs never cease to amaze with their skills, using all new ingredients to prepare the Neptune salad, which include peaches. This dish will probably surprise many. The ingredients are:

  • squid;
  • mayonnaise - 3 tbsp. spoons;
  • Cherry tomatoes - 10 pcs.;
  • quail eggs - 10 pcs.;
  • half a head of Iceberg lettuce;
  • canned peach - 2 pcs.;
  • mustard - 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • sesame;
  • parsley;
  • salt;
  • ground black pepper.

This is the recipe for creating a culinary masterpiece. Wash the quail eggs, pour boiling water over them and cook for ten minutes. Then cool and peel. To cut in half.

  • crackers - 100 g;
  • greens - 3 bunches;
  • quail eggs - 5 pcs.;
  • sour cream.

Grate the cheese using a fine grater, add starch and garlic, mix. Heat a frying pan after greasing it with a little vegetable oil, add two tablespoons of the cheese mixture and smooth it out carefully. Allow the cheese to melt, then remove from heat and cool. It’s better to take shrimp raw and cook it yourself. In my case, they were peeled in a light marinade. But no liquid is needed in the salad!

Find 2 differences? Everything is the same as in a classic salad, only in addition to the base, we cut the cucumber and pour in the corn. Take good corn, more expensive. Sometimes you come across something that is not crispy, falls apart in your mouth, and doesn’t hold its shape in a salad. And believe me, this affects the overall taste!

Step one. Place the squid in boiled salted water for 3 minutes, peel and cut...

Friends, it's simple here. Defrost the squid at room temperature, then boil the water, add literally a handful of salt to the pan so that the water is slightly salted. You remember how much salt you add when you cook pasta. Here you can easily do 3 times more. The point is to scald the squid with boiling water, thanks to which we can easily clean it. And the second important rule is that salt water will make the squid salty during this time. After all, we won’t salt the salad!

Don’t be afraid to keep the squid in boiling water for more than 3-5 minutes. On the contrary, it will add zest. And do you know which one? It's simple - the longer the squid is exposed to temperature conditions, the harder it becomes. But more correctly, it acquires a “rubbery” effect, and if you try to pull it out right away, it will be softer, and if you hold it a little longer, it will become more noticeable on the teeth. Which goes well with the other ingredients. After all, it is important for us that there is a difference between the whites of eggs and squid, not only in color, but also in taste. Step two. We cut the eggs, or rather just the whites

Sorry for not showing you how to boil eggs. I think everyone can cope here. I'll go ask my wife))

So here it is. Place the eggs in a pan with cold water and cook after boiling for 5-7 minutes. Closer to the last number. Some salt the water so that the eggs do not crack. But rather, this moment depends on how long it takes to remove the eggs from the water. Perhaps 6 minutes is optimal, and nothing will crack. Next, remove from the stove and drain the boiling water, leaving the eggs in the pan.

After that, immediately pour cold water over the hot eggs. The idea is to put it into a cold or ice-cold one after the hot one. Thus, a sharp temperature change will allow the protein to be separated from the shell inside the egg, and cleaning will be quick and easy. Although there are times when this doesn’t help. Depends on the eggs. But all these are not critical points... how they are cleaned, and whether they will crack... After all, we need chopped whites, and nothing more...

Step three. Cutting a cucumber

Step four. Shredding crab meat

I have a simplified version, namely fast. I wasn't looking for a crab claw, but decided to do something quick and take not just plain crab sticks, but crab sticks with real crab meat. Another main difference between them is that they do not need to be cut, but they are torn by fibers, which also emphasizes the note in the Neptune sea salad.

Step six. Add fried squid to salad
