Meat pizza is probably the first thing that comes to mind when ordering a pizza. For some reason, everyone believes that pizza must contain meat, and in any form. The origin of the word "pizza" seems to be connected with the Latin verb, which means "to break". So in ancient times in the Mediterranean region they broke bread. I read somewhere that perhaps pizza comes from the Old Hebrew פִּתָּה פיתה, Arabic كماج or Greek πίτα.

Pizza has a long history. The first written records of pizza date back more than 1000 years, although flat bread with filling laid out on it has been known since ancient times. Despite the fact that pizza has long been a culinary tradition all over the world, it is still believed that pizza is an original Italian dish, originating from Naples.

He does not need a long proofing, punching, molding and other manipulations. Everything is extremely simple - dissolve the yeast in water, add flour, add oil and knead the dough. Pizza with beef - a recipe for yeast dough

Ingredients for dough for 1 large pizza:

- Wheat flour - 300-320 gr;
- water - 150 ml;
- sugar and salt - 1 teaspoon each;
- fresh yeast (in a cube) - 10 gr;
- refined vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.

For the filling (example):

- Boiled or baked beef - 250 gr;
- ketchup or homemade adjika, tomato sauce - 3 tbsp. l;
- onion - 1 pc;
- tomatoes - 2 pcs (frozen in the recipe);
- salt, spices - to taste;
- olives or olives - 10-15 pieces;
- hard cheese - 150 gr;

How to cook with a photo step by step





We take fresh baker's yeast (not dry, but in a cube), cut off a plate about 1 cm thick and half the size of a matchbox. It will be 10-12 grams, just how much is needed for the test. Or we measure the right amount on the scales. Add salt and sugar to yeast. Rub with a spoon, turn everything into a liquid slurry.




Pour warm water, stir with yeast. Sift the flour and pour into the water about two-thirds of the total.




Mix flour with liquid with a spoon. Gradually, all the flour will be moistened, the dough will thicken. Add 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil, mix it into the dough. Sift the rest of the flour on the table, spread the loose dough on it.






Knead the dough with your hands, gradually taking the flour from the edges. After 7-8 minutes, a smooth, elastic dough, slightly sticky and soft, will begin to turn out of a loose lump. To make it easier to knead, add another tablespoon of oil or add flour. But you should not get carried away with flour - excess flour will make the dough dense. A well kneaded dough will be soft but springy under your hands. We collect it in a lump, return it to a bowl, cover and put it in heat for 1.5 hours.




After 1.5 hours, the dough will take about a third of the dish (it will increase 3-4 times), it will become very soft and airy. It is already ready for cutting, and by this time you should have a pizza topping ready.




Punch down the dough and place on baking paper. We stretch it with our hands, forming a round or square (rectangular) pizza base. Thickness 1-1.5 cm (depending on what kind of pizza you like - fluffy or on a thin crust). Lubricate the base with ketchup or tomato sauce, homemade adjika.






We spread a layer of onions, cut into thin half rings. To make the onion softer, after slicing, sprinkle it with fine salt and rub it lightly with your hands.




Put pieces of boiled or baked meat on the onion.




We cut fresh tomatoes into circles or slices, put them on the meat. Frozen tomatoes do not defrost, add to the filling as is. Salt, pepper, season with spices. Lay out olives or olives. We send the pizza to a hot oven (temperature 220 degrees), bake for 15 minutes, until almost ready.

To make a dish you will need:

  4. 200 g chicken fillet;
  5. 2 tsp dry yeast;
  6. 50 ml sunflower;

Meat pizza can consist of beef, pork and other types of meat. I will be using chicken in my recipe. You can add any other meat you like. The recipe is universal and if you replace any ingredient with a similar final result, it will not change much.

1. Put the chicken meat in salted water and boil for 15 minutes. Chilled meat cut into small cubes.

2. Peel the onion and cut into rings.

3. Put in a pan and fry until golden brown.


4. Grind hard cheese with a coarse grater.

To prepare it, you need to put yeast, flour, salt, vegetable oil and water into the bowl of the bread machine. Close the lid and set the fastest setting for yeast dough, in my case it is 45 minutes. The dough is easy to prepare by hand, for this you need to combine all these ingredients, knead the dough, which is left in a warm place for 45 minutes.

6. Finely chop the greens. I have some fried mushrooms left in the fridge, so I will also put them on the pizza, but this is optional.

  • dry yeast - 1 tsp;
  • salt - to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. To create a thin dough, mix flour with yeast and salt. Mix water and oil separately. After that, pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture, stirring constantly. The dough should become homogeneous. To do this, knead it well, put it in a bowl, cover with a towel and place in heat for 40 minutes. After this time, knead the dough again, roll out and place on a baking sheet.
  2. The filling, as in the classic pizza recipe, is best laid in layers, smearing each layer with ketchup or mayonnaise. For a dietary option, you can reduce the amount of mayonnaise, limiting yourself to a layer of mayonnaise "net" on top or bottom of the filling.

It is important to know that thin pizza should ideally be baked in a wood-fired oven at about 500 degrees. At home, this temperature is impossible to achieve. However, you can “cheat” a little and send the raw dish to the oven, heated to 300 degrees for 1 minute. In this case, it is better to use a stone sheet as a baking sheet. But you can use the traditional metal. The main thing is not to overdo the dish in the oven. You can't lower the temperature either. You can dry out the pizza.

Pizza with minced meat can be made on the basis of any semi-finished meat product: pork, beef, chicken, mixed.
