It is also worth thinking about placing a house in which the baby can enjoy the game and constantly fantasize. It can be made from a variety of materials that remained after repair or construction. If you live in an apartment, then you can always find a corner in it that will fit a small structure. It is not difficult to build a children's house with your own hands. This will be discussed in the article.

Undoubtedly, the choice of materials for the manufacture of the house is quite large. Almost everything is suitable for making a simple design. The most common types of playhouses are:

  • wooden;
  • cardboard;
  • fabric (like a wigwam);
  • drywall.

Since we are talking about a house in miniature, then it should be designed in accordance with all the rules. At a minimum, pillows, boxes with toys and a table should be placed here. If the place allows, and the imagination of the parents has no limits, then the resulting children's housing is decorated and decorated not only inside, but also outside. This will only add interest and intrigue the baby. Wanting to make a site with a house in the country, it is worth considering the impact of atmospheric phenomena.

If the child is old enough (from a year old), then it is worth involving him in the process. Thus, the baby will be able to learn simple skills and develop fine motor skills through the game.

Before drawing up a drawing of the future structure, it is necessary to think over several main points, namely the type and type of house, as well as its dimensions. To do everything correctly, you should define the following parameters:

  1. Type: open or closed.
  2. Dimensions: total area and height.
  3. Placement: on the ground or on a tree.
  4. Material for manufacturing.
  5. Inclusion in the design of windows and doors.
  6. Additional elements: outbuildings, fencing, slide, stairs, sandbox and others.
  7. Interior design.

Also, when developing a building plan, a few more points should be taken into account:

  • mobility or stationarity;
  • the height of the doors should be under the ceiling;
  • exclude places of injury (corners and protruding nails);
  • the roof should not be flat so that the child cannot climb on it.

The drawn up scheme will allow you to assemble the structure exactly according to the specified parameters, which means that the result will be excellent. If there is no time to develop a sketch, then you can use the ready-made drawings that are given in the article.

Windows and doors that are provided in the children's house should face the house so that parents can constantly monitor the child.

Since a wooden house is one of the most common for outdoor placement, we will consider it in more detail. The list of its advantages should include: practicality, strength, durability and safety, which is important. To make a children's house out of wood, you need to follow the following stages of work.

First of all, you need to decide on the place where the house will be built. This point is especially important when it comes to stationary construction. Undoubtedly, every child's biggest dream is to have their own playhouse in a treehouse, but this, in turn, increases the possibility of injury, so we will focus on a hut built on the ground. If desired, it can be supplemented with other children's elements for the game.

When choosing a place, focus on the area where there will be a shadow after lunch. In such a house it will not be hot, and the child will be able to play throughout the day. Also, do not forget that there should be no obstacles nearby, since a kid who is keen on playing will not notice flower beds, garden beds or building materials. It will also provide a high level of security.

Separate the children's play area with a low curb, for example, from car tires.

All dimensions are chosen arbitrarily depending on the wishes and available material. If we are talking about a small playhouse, then the following sizes will be enough:

  • width - 160 cm;
  • height - 150 cm.

The first step is to prepare the foundation. Despite the fact that we are talking about a simple design, so that it lasts at least 5 years, it is worth considering the presence of an elementary foundation layer. So, as a base, it will be enough to fill the site with a small layer of rubble or compact the soil well with sand.

When decorating the floor of the house, you can choose one of the common options:

  1. Support bars are laid on the prepared and rammed base and the floor is covered.
  2. Supports made of cellular concrete are placed only at the corners of the house. The prepared floor frame is fixed only at the corners.

Do not forget about such an important point as waterproofing, which can be a simple roofing material. Special mastics are also suitable, if any remain after construction. This stage will extend the life of the playhouse.

The basis of the floor will be simple wooden boards 3 cm thick. They are connected into a rectangular box and fixed with metal corners, which will add strength. For greater reliability, experts recommend installing additional transverse bars. MDF or chipboard sheets will serve as a finishing material, you can even use wooden panels. After the floor is ready, it is necessary to treat it with protective agents (antiseptics) and paint it with paint.

The presence of a small gap will allow air to circulate well and ventilate the house after rain or winter.

For the construction of the walls of the playhouse, it will be quite enough to use the bars from which the frame is mounted. After that, it is sewn up with clapboard or all the same shields. During installation, do not forget about windows and doors:

  1. Wooden bars with a section of 6 × 4 cm and the required length are installed in all corners (depending on the height of the building).
  2. Installation of bars under doors and windows. Nails or special corners can act as fasteners.
  3. Installation of additional spacers between the rafters (half height). This will add more strength to the base.
  4. Horizontal bars for windows and doors are prepared in advance: they cut off the required length (the calculation is made depending on the width of the sheathing material).
  5. For the roof frame, you need to take two bars and knock them together into a corner (the shape of an unfinished triangle, the wall will serve as the base). The free ends are fixed on the upper bars of the walls. Depending on the size of the house, such triangles are harvested from 2 to 4 pieces.

When installing the roof frame, first fix the front and rear element, and then place the middle parts.

Now you can proceed to the direct sheathing of the frame of the playhouse. Common materials in this case are:

  • lining;
  • shields;
  • boards.

In the case of lining, the process is much simplified, since there is no need to adjust all the elements to the specified dimensions. They also connect easily with each other. In this case, the roof is covered with edged boards and protected with roofing material. If there are tiles or ondulin left, then they will do. Everything will depend on your imagination and possibilities.

Before you is a real and full-fledged playhouse. The final touch is the design and decoration. How to do it? This will also depend entirely on the materials available and desire. It is enough to be guided by simple tips and recommendations:

  • paint the building in bright and colorful colors;
  • involve children in the work;
  • on doors and windows you can buy the appropriate fittings;
  • a table and chairs are installed inside, which are also pre-painted.

Always remember safety. Everything that is inside the playhouse and the building itself should not have sharp elements.

A simpler design is the construction of simple plywood sheets. But, despite its simplicity, such a house will delight every child and allow him to expand his imagination for games every day. Such a construction has many advantages, but the main one is the expenditure of a minimum of time and effort.

As in the previous case, the plywood house should first be sketched on a piece of paper in order to know the result exactly. Consider the scale and calculate the required amount of materials. The construction site is being cleared and levelled.

You should also collect all the tools that will be needed during construction:

  • stationery knife;
  • hacksaw;
  • a hammer;
  • sandpaper;
  • jigsaw;
  • roulette;
  • pencil;
  • brushes and rollers;
  • screwdriver

The list of materials must include:

  1. Sheets of plywood 8-12 mm thick.
  2. Wooden beam with a section of 5 × 5 cm.
  3. Soft tiles.
  4. Plexiglas for windows.
  5. Glazing beads.
  6. Fasteners: nails and self-tapping screws (prefer stainless steel elements).
  7. Hinges for doors and window shutters (if any).
  8. Paints and varnishes.

You should also take care of personal protective equipment in advance: gloves, work clothes, goggles and a respirator.

Using a hacksaw, the timber is cut into pieces for mounting the frame. All elements are cleaned with sandpaper and treated with antiseptics from the fungus.

  1. We cut plywood sheets with a saw or an electric jigsaw into elements according to the existing scheme. To be accurate, use a tape measure. The edges are also cleaned and treated with protective compounds. During operation there will be a lot of dust, which is removed with a vacuum cleaner.
  2. We select a place. The site must be absolutely dry, without high vegetation around. Ideally, if there is a specially designated children's area, where a sandbox, a slide and a swing are already equipped.
  3. We clear the selected site of grass, removing the top layer of soil. A layer of sand or expanded clay is poured and compacted. For convenience, limiters are placed in the form of wooden boards. In the role of a water barrier, rubber or foam is suitable. To completely limit the contact of the house with water, it is recommended to provide for the construction of a support.
  4. When building a frame, there should also be no difficulties. In the process, the width of the plywood elements is taken into account. A frame is being built with a certain step for the bars. Since the house is summer, there is no talk of warming.
  5. After the frame of the house is ready, you can proceed to the arrangement of the roof. A gable shape with a slope that a child cannot climb is best suited. A flat roof is much easier and faster to make, but in this case, the baby can be injured if he decides to climb on it.
  6. The roof frame is also made of beams, after which the crate is stuffed (the step corresponds to the width of the plywood sheet). When everything is ready, you should treat the surface with protective equipment from rain and snow. Among the wide variety of roofing materials, it is best to give preference to soft models that do not emit harmful substances and do not pose a danger.
  7. Sheathing of the frame is carried out using a screwdriver or a hammer. In the latter option, care must be taken to ensure that the ends of the nails do not come out and injure the child. If this happens, then it is necessary to grind them off with a file. All cracks and holes are sealed with mounting foam to avoid drafts.
  8. Before painting, the playhouse is carefully primed. Staining can be done in any of the ways that you prefer. Posters with images of children's favorite heroes will complement the decoration.

When developing a drawing, it is worth considering the age and height of the child. The first indicator will set the theme of the gaming house, and the second - the dimensions.

Do not forget that the final in the arrangement will be the installation of windows and fixing doors. Windows are cut out of plexiglass in accordance with the window opening. They are fixed with glazing beads and small nails. For greater strength and reliability, the edges should be treated with a sealant. Beautiful platbands will complement the picture, which will give more comfort.

A massive door in the playhouse is not needed. In most models, it is completely absent, but for a greater sense of usefulness, it is worth providing them. Only 1 layer of plywood is suitable for it, which is reinforced with transverse dies. Fix on door hinges and paint.

The house on supports provides for the presence of a ladder or a small threshold. Its width should correspond to the doorway. The steps should be wide so as not to fall during active play.

Any children's building will not be able to cause difficulty for a person who knows how to handle a hammer. It is enough to choose the right scheme or draw it up yourself, and then follow the specified parameters and data exactly. Do not limit your imagination, and also connect your baby, who himself will tell you what and how he will be more comfortable in his own playhouse.

Ideas for different types of houses for children:

Scheme

These diagrams show how to make calculations for a children's house, which will allow you to quickly think through your project:

Many summer residents, when planning and, are going to build at least a small children's house with their own hands, so that the little owners have something to do and where to play in the summer. That is why we decided to write an article where we describe in detail the process of creating this small building on the site.

In our case, the height of the ridge of the building will be 90 centimeters, and the overall dimensions will be limited to the following indicators - 160x160x140 centimeters. To build a children's house, you will need the following tools and materials:

  • Screws with nails;
  • 4 foundation blocks;
  • Dye;
  • 4 floorboards;
  • Edged board;
  • Lining;
  • 6 beam holders;
  • Mounting corners;
  • 11 bars for creating a floor and 5 for a blood;
  • Carved platbands;
  • Furniture shield.

Work order

  • Floor frame assembly. The first step is the foundation of the future structure, followed by reinforcement with metal corners and diagonal alignment.

  • Plot Definition. You should choose level ground. If there is none, then you will first have to level the area for construction. On the site, using the frame, it is necessary to designate four corner points, which will become markings for placing foundation blocks.
  • Give stability to the base. Before laying out the frame of the house, four foundation blocks should be placed on the surface of the sand cushion to a depth of no more than one shovel bayonet. After that, a waterproofing material is laid between the frame and the base.

  • Floor execution. In the next step, the frame is completely sheathed with boards, thus obtaining a flat surface.

  • Underside processing. After the floor is assembled, it is necessary to process the outer surface of the boards, that is, the one that will subsequently be adjacent to the ground. Then you can begin to build walls, insert doors and windows.

Important point! For the construction of a children's house with your own hands, you should select only jointed materials. Thus, children will not be injured and get splinters while playing in a small building. For the same purpose, it makes sense to chamfer the corners.

  • rafters. First of all, preliminary markings are drawn on the working surface. After that, with the help of temporary nails, bait is performed. The next step is to fix the rafter, and also seal all the joints with corners. At the end, the nails are removed.
  • Rafter fastening. To install exactly on a plumb line, 3 rafters should be placed on the frame, resting them with an inclined support. The walls of the future children's house will be attached to the frame with metal holders.

  • wall cladding. A self-assembled frame can be sheathed with different materials, but lining is most often used for this.

  • Roof assembly. Starting from the ridge, the roof of the house is sheathed with carved boards on both sides. On top of it, you can lay ondulin, which is quite simply cut to size with a grinder.

  • External decoration. Having finished with the construction of the children's house, you should not stop there - decorate the appearance of the new building for the child, making the structure more elegant and beautiful. To do this, you can embellish the corners of the building with figured corners, and doors, windows and ends with carved platbands.

  • Interior. Do not overlook and, placing inside, for example, a small bench or table.

Thus, you will get an almost ready-made children's house. As you can see, doing all the work with your own hands is not difficult at all. In the end, it remains just to paint the walls of the new building.

Children's house on poles

You can easily build a playhouse for a child on your own at their summer cottage, right in front of the home. One of the most common options is a do-it-yourself building on poles.

Instructions for work

Of course, the new construction on the site will not be very heavy, and therefore there is no need to make a foundation for it. However, some foundation is still required even for a children's structure. In our case, it is best to use a wooden bar 100 by 100 millimeters. You can fasten the beam together with steel corners.

The next step is to place the supports that will hold the top floor of the children's house. For this purpose, it is worth using boards with a thickness and width of 30 and 80 millimeters, respectively. Jumpers are useful for fastening, which will simultaneously hold the boards of the 2nd floor.

Along with this, wooden supports are installed, they will serve as support structures for the stairs. Wooden roof is installed.

Expert advice! In order for the ceiling of the future structure to be able to hold a heavy load, it is recommended to place the boards with the ribs down.

It is best if the supports of the building will be placed not just anywhere, but on paving slabs.

To prevent children from getting hurt during the game, it is worth installing balusters with railings on the stairs.

In the upper part of the support must be fixed to each other. Jumpers should be used to fasten the wall frame.

You can sheathe the walls with ordinary boards, for the roof it is recommended to use plywood.

For greater safety and to avoid injuries to children, before building a children's house, it is worth sanding all the timber with your own hands. In addition, it is better if you inspect all boards in advance for chips, cracks and breaks in order to minimize the risk of splinters during the operation of the building.

For the roof, you can use almost any modern soft.

In addition to the main entrance, it would not be superfluous to provide in the design of the house for children a "black" and simply an emergency exit. For this purpose, a small hole can be made in the floor of the structure, where the rope will be stretched. Undoubtedly, the guys will appreciate this solution!

Toward the end, finishing work is carried out, for which various decorative elements and multi-colored coloring materials are used.

Finally, between the pillars, under the first floor, you can create a sandbox.

Master class on creating a house with your own hands

First option

To work, you will need the following materials:

  1. Wood corners.
  2. Cutting board.
  3. Sheet piling to create a floor.
  4. Nails.
  5. Mounting brackets made of metal.
  6. Bar for the frame with a section of 45 by 45 centimeters.
  7. Biotex.
  8. "Block house".

Before you start creating a children's house with your own hands, you need to draw up a drawing of the future design. In our case, the building will contain a single room with a doorway and a window and a small veranda.

As you know, any construction work begins with grounds, which will simultaneously play the role of sex. Three logs are connected together with tongue-and-groove boards by fastening a tenon-groove and nails.

After that, a frame of a new building is made from a bar. Do not forget that for fastening the bars it is worth using metal corners.

So that during the process of fixing the "Block House" the material is not damaged and does not spoil its appearance, it is necessary to use scraps and a hammer.

Wall cladding should be based on the location of the doorway and windows.

Corners from the side of the street are covered with wooden corners.

Edged boards are used for the roof, which are fixed on each side with nails. The flooring is recommended to be made of bituminous tiles.

After you completely build a children's house with your own hands, it is necessary to treat the walls, floor and roof of the structure with "biotex". This composition will not only give the surfaces the desired color, but will further protect the building structure from the negative effects of rain and sun.

Like last time, shelves, a table and benches are made inside the room.

Thus, with our own hands, without the help of specialists and additional costs, we will get a beautiful and reliable children's house, which your children will certainly appreciate.

Second option

In the second case, the following components and materials will be required to build a house:

  1. Thin boards.
  2. Ruberoid.
  3. Six wooden boards 2.4 by 1.8 meters.
  4. Screw set.
  5. Bars of various sections.
  6. Stain.

It is recommended to lay the foundation, if possible, using crushed stone. Alternatively, you can simply level the ground under the new structure. Next, the bars with a section size of 10 by 10 centimeters must be cut into equal parts, and then placed in increments of 1.4-1.5 meters between the racks.

Support bars should be placed under the posts in the soil, so we will exclude the process of floor decay in the future. We place bars 5 by 10 cm in cross section between the rack and the panel, which will become the floor in the future. Fixation of the beams is achieved by screws. The existing voids between the lags should be covered with earth.

The next step is to cut the wooden panels into equal parts, and then lay them out in a strictly horizontal position. Fastening is achieved by a beam.

In order for the flooring to be as smooth as possible in the end, panels should be laid with little margin, then saw off the excess parts.

The next step is to create the sidebars. In this case, you should initially mark up, leaving at least a 6-centimeter margin on each side in width. As for the height of the wall for the children's house, 1.5-meter panels can be made as an example.

In the process of assembling walls with your own hands, one should not forget about door and window openings, which are also created based on pre-made markings. In our case, the dimensions of the door will be 0.6 by 1.2 meters.

Internal and external panels are varnished. After the flooring is well fixed, walls are attached to it with screws. A board with a section size of 10 by 5 centimeters is placed with a small protrusion over the edge on the side.

Once the new wall is in place, it must be checked with a spirit level. Only after making sure that the location is correct, you can move on to the next wall!

The next step is to build a roof, which at the end is covered with a layer of roofing material. To cover the gaps that may accidentally form between the panels, a wide ridge should be used.

For greater beauty, you can create shutters on the windows or assemble a small porch in front of the house with your own hands.

On this, the children's building will be ready.

Aboveground building with stairs and slide

An interesting option can serve as a children's house, built on a summer cottage on a hill. In this case, the following materials and products may be required:

  1. Dye.
  2. Stairs.
  3. chipboard.
  4. Sand with cement for the base.
  5. Slide.
  6. Wooden blocks for piles.
  7. Screws and nails.

This version of the structure will be erected for the most part thanks to the tenon-groove connection, which will allow, if necessary, to disassemble the building, for example, for the winter.

The frame of the house is assembled in the same way as shown in the photo below.

If you are going to make shutters on a window opening, then you should buy hinged hinges in the store in advance.

The railing under the porch is assembled. For this purpose, small holes are made in the bars with a certain step, with a depth of no more than half the bar.

Reiki should be tried on together with drilled notches. After making sure that the slats fit well, they should be removed for a while and secured with nails for greater ease of painting work.

The most important moment in the construction of any structure is the laying of the foundation. The children's house is no exception! In our case, under the piles of the building, it is necessary to dig 4 holes, the depth of which will be approximately one meter. Next, the supports are poured with a cement mixture, after which it remains to wait for the final drying.

It is important to emphasize that the deeper the piles are placed in the soil, the more reliable the finished structure of the house will be, reducing to nothing the risk of collapse and mobility of the children's building.

Building a children's house with your own hands is simple and fun. Having already learned in construction and repair, you can put this building in the right place in a day; "with kondachka" - for the weekend. Construction costs will be at least three times less than for the purchase of finished, and the benefits from it will be great: the desire of the younger generation to build “chalabuds” has been biologically embedded in us since the time when the ability to build a temporary shelter from improvised materials was a matter of survival, like the ability to hunt or distinguish edible root fruits from inedible ones.

We have not been primitive for a long time, but our children still need a playhouse - it is one of the means that contribute to the formation of personality, the acquisition of skills, and physical development. The playhouse will occupy the little fidgets with full awareness of their importance: having their own territory and living space, they will not pull adults out of business, just to remind them of themselves. And dad, mom, guests will be able to calmly go about their adult affairs or just sit at the table, without fear of generational stratification and hidden friction in the family.

What to build?

The house for children is being built, firstly, taking into account the peculiarities of child psychology. As deep as at , in this case, it is not necessary to delve into them, but something must be reckoned with. Secondly, the nature and duration of use matter, namely: in an apartment a house or on the street, personal for your children, perhaps with their friends, or common in the yard, it is designed for one generation until it grows up, or for a long use. Thirdly, the sex of the child: that girls and boys behave differently from infancy onwards is common knowledge.

The construction of a toy estate for offspring is unlikely to cause difficulties for parents-"dummies" either: the small size of the structure will help here. They affect not only the savings in materials. We will return to this later, but for now we state: the main task in this case is to decide what exactly to build. From the offers of "orphanages" for sale, eyes run wide, but the general impression is as if it were in the 17th-18th centuries, when children were sewn the same caftans and pantaloons as adults, only smaller. This applies not only to the appearance, but also to the technologies used, on which the price of the product directly depends.

Children today, in appropriate circumstances, wear adult-style clothes, but they are not intended for play! A house for a child must be made based on what will be played in it. Yes, children's games are preparation for adulthood, but not learning it from instructions. A child is not a robot that needs to be “flashed”, he is a full member of human society and can organically enter it himself, having shown his abilities and having achieved success thanks to them. One of the most important features of the child's psyche is the combination of pure pragmatism with unrestrained imagination. With this in mind, children's playhouses can be considered in a certain order, see fig.

Like adults

House on can be conditionally called "master's". It is built from wood as the most environmentally friendly, affordable and easily processed material. Durability, without thorough impregnation and protection against soaking, will be at least 7 years in the middle zone of the Russian Federation, which is enough for a house for their children - they will grow during this time.

The “master's” house is a universal structure: the inhabitants themselves have the opportunity to equip it according to their taste, needs and abilities, unobtrusively learning to invent and make it with their hands at the same time. Imagine, for example, a mast with a sail on the roof - it will not be difficult for a child's imagination to draw the rest to the "Black Pearl" or "Walrus" of Captain Flint. We remove the yardarm, we hook the flag on the pole - here is the castle for you, and, in fact, that snag is a fire-breathing dragon, from which you need to save your sister or girlfriend-princess. Who remembers how he was a child, many more things will come up with.

The “master's” house is, in general, an imitation of an adult house of a simplified design; its typical layout and dimensions are shown in fig. on the right, but how to build one, let's see further. An indispensable feature is enlarged window openings. The point is not only that it is more convenient to play this way. Human vision is formed in childhood; in order not to spoil it from a young age, you need to follow medical instructions for the size and nature of the illumination. And with a decrease in the size of the windows, their area, which transmits the light flux, falls along the square of the size of the window. In order to withstand fluctuations in illumination within acceptable limits, especially when moving from the street to the house and back, the area of the windows relative to that of the walls in the children's house should be larger.

- "master's" modification in the form of a gazebo for children of sanguine / choleric extroverts. They often have the makings of a leader; for full development, they need to keep their surroundings in mind. For children, a few (not to autism, of course) closed and in-depth ones are more suitable for a “house on chicken legs”, . Remember, children are pragmatists to the marrow of their bones. The aspiration of thoughts to the heights for them is connected with a real distance from the earthly firmament. But don't forget about lighting! See the windows on the roof? Such children do not like large windows, but light is needed. And on the roof - nothing, there is the sky, clouds. There is where to direct the visual and mental gaze. Dreamy children tend to lack exercise; in this case, this problem will be solved by itself in the form of a ladder, and the slide will also remind you of the simple joys of life.

Outdoor sandbox house - for the little ones. There is a shelf - they themselves will understand that it is more convenient to put toys there, and not to throw them anywhere. And it is more convenient for adults to collect them from there, and not pick them out of the sand. However, sandboxes are a different story.

To little ladies

A house-stall is more suitable for girls: a gazebo with higher sides, , or "master's" with a veranda-counter and a window facing it, . There's nothing to be done, girls like to play haggling. No matter who they grow up with, they manage the household, and purchases are a rather delicate and responsible business. Therefore, a girl's house, in the yard or in an apartment, , must be equipped with shelves for goods, scales, etc. For lessons, without breaking away from business, the shelves are also suitable.

For girls, the importance of the design style and decor of the house is greater than for boys. Homebody-mother's helpers are more suitable for the "gingerbread" style, . Designers for assembling gingerbread houses are on sale, but it is not necessary to assemble them from purchased plastic parts: a typical master's house can easily be turned into a gingerbread house using scraps of plywood, boards, a jigsaw and paint. He needs simple, but constant care, so the little troublemakers need it.

Artistic natures with the manners of a future pop diva or socialite are more suitable for something not so solid (artistry is inextricably linked with the desire for a change of scenery), but more colorful and glamorous; perhaps to some extent tinsel, . Just don’t decorate such a house right away on your own: artistic natures have a healthy imagination, but individuality is pronounced, and self-discipline is often lame. Give a foundation, an impetus, and then let her work for her own pleasure and improve herself in the process of work. See below for more on this when we get to the cardboard houses.

A special case is tomboy girls who are on “you” with the boys. On “you”, they are on “you”, but they understand that they are not boys after all. Therefore, their requests are higher and more peculiar. A house for a tomboy girl is a special case; how, for example. build a playhouse for a girl like Pippi Longstocking, see

Video: house a la Pippi Longstocking, program “Fazenda”

To be really cool

It’s easier with the boys: if it’s not possible to build a master’s building, they will be completely satisfied with a shelter with a ladder and a climbing frame under the porch or in the corner, . The limit of desires of any boy is a tree house, . If you have a suitable one in mind, incl. and according to safety requirements, a tree, how to build a house on it, see the video:

Video: treehouse, Country Answer program

But this is rarely found on a personal plot or dacha, especially since it is necessary to beat nails into it; the fruit tree may die from this. In this case, you can make a children's tree house without damaging it, as shown in Fig. left. Instead of a roof, you can hang a tent tent, as described below, or make it a hut.

A full-fledged replacement for a tree house, "completely cool" in children's terms - a hut, . For her, however, you need quite a lot of natural material and the ability to assemble it into a reliable design. Therefore, instead of a hut, it is better to build a hut, . We will return to the "real" huts for children, but for now in fig. on the right - a drawing of a 2-level hut house. It is durable, resistant, the base is not required for it, they simply put it on the ground. There is only one drawback: you need more space than for the "master's" house. Assembly technology:

  • make A-frames in size from a bar 150x75. The corners are fastened with M10-M16 bolts, see bottom right in the figure, with nuts and washers with a diameter of 40-80 mm. Figuratively speaking, all the rigidity of the triangle falls on its corners, and nails / self-tapping screws in this case will not be reliable enough;
  • put the frames alternately on their side and sheathe the upper corner with 2-3 belts of boards, getting a frame blank. You can do more without bringing the skin to the floor of the 2nd level, it will only be more accurate. The perpendicularity of the plane of the frames to the ridge run is controlled by a square from 0.5x0.5 m;
  • also controlling perpendicularity, they sew on the floor board of the 2nd level on each side;
  • put the workpiece on its feet, it is already quite rigid. They put something under the sagging legs, or they dig in those resting on the ground until the ridge run is horizontal; check the level;
  • they lay the floor (board 100x40 or 150x40), make a ladder, partition, climbing frame, etc., complete the sheathing of the slopes - done!

What if there are two? Or horde?

What to build if there are two or more children? Different sexes and different ages? The simplest option is phytobuilding, , everyone will like it. But, alas, phytoarchitecture grows slowly, and you need to think about phytodomics long before the birth of your first child, even if you put clematis on the base lattice.

Prefabricated option - 2-storey house, . This is the perfect house for a playground, see for example. rice. on the right, but it requires a fairly strong base. How to do it, see below. In fact, a full-fledged children's play complex is a separate article; just in case, in Fig. Below is a typical diagram of its device and dimensions.

If the children are a boy and a girl with a slight age difference, then the floors of a 2-storey house must be equipped according to their needs, . In this case, the house must be built from boards from 30 mm thick: a light structure, designed for a tidy girl, will not withstand boyish loads, and a rough one made of timber or logs, see below about fabulous houses, is unlikely to be to the taste of refined nature. If she is alone, then Baba Yaga's hut will most likely approve, but before the opposite sex she will be indignant at the "brutality" of the structure, if only out of harm.

Maybe you do not have the desire and / or opportunity to engage in earthworks. For example, there is nowhere to put the house, except on a well-groomed lawn. In that case, compare . Hut? Hut. But quite modern. Made according to the "master's" technology, see below, only the facades are assembled in frames with curvilinear generatrices. It is more difficult to type such rails, but the roof is simplified: in this case, the roof is a simple plank sheathing. And its configuration gives (especially in the child's imagination) a virtual 2nd floor with a slide; steeper slope - a climbing frame, as it was there.

And at the cottage?

A children's house in the country is most often a kind of tent. There is no particular point in building a stationary house there, except that the cottage is elite and the territory is protected. The simplest tent is obtained from a sheet, bedding and rope, . There are also a lot of children's houses-tents on sale, , but it’s easy to make similar ones yourself by fastening the frame of metal-plastic pipes (it is easy to bend as you like) in several places with adhesive tape. The same method is applicable for apartment houses-tents, to which we will return. With a lack of natural supports or material for them, you can put up a corner tent, see the figure on the right. On the inset in it are different design options.

The second option is a tent-hut, it is also a clamshell tent. The structure is clear from . Boys like these more and are still more hygienic than a hut. Although doctors are unanimous in this regard: children, from whom, as they say, dust particles are blown away, are more likely to grow up frail, sickly and insecure.

Much more romantic and suitable for both sexes is a wigwam tent, pos. 22. In order not to be stuffy in it, there should be a gap at the bottom, and a hole for ventilation at the top. How to put up a tent or a wigwam, see below. Finally, a more girly design is a tent-tent. Put it elementary, see fig. on the left, and view of . If the daughter declares that she does not feel like a Shemakhan queen in him, then she simply breaks down.

Fairy tale or reality?

Fairy-tale houses are a special kind of children's games. Similar to those on , you can build yourself from available materials. But, unfortunately, their gaming functionality is extremely narrow. Reread The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. How many games did they play with Huck Finn in one summer? But even children's imagination will save if you need to turn a pirate ship into a Robin Hood cave. Unless your position allows the butler to order: "Samuil Sigismundovich, please make sure that by tomorrow morning the house-ship has been replaced by a house-castle." It is unacceptable to zombify children in a single line, because they will grow up. And what are the prospects for a society populated and controlled by moral monsters?

There are fabulous houses with a fairly wide functionality, e.g. But behind their external simplicity lies a very complex technology of creation. Their production begins with computer modeling of the design.

Log, beam, slab

A good fabulous wooden house can be made with your own hands in a rustic, i.e. rustic style. But here it is time to dodge. For example, a product for impresses both children and adults. The last ones are more expensive, somewhere around a odnushka in a Moscow new building. And to look for the material yourself, the house, not only for children, for grandchildren, will be late. Moreover, snags suitable for rustic creativity are highly valued, their miners earn much more than treasure hunters with metal detectors, they have a trained eye, they shovel bizarre stumps, deadwood and deadwood clean out of the forest.

Hut on chicken legs made of timber or logs, , is more accessible. But in order to build it, you need to be able to put up a log house, and this is a rather complicated matter. For a gingerbread chopped hut, , the complexity is at least tripled. If there is a simple dead wood in the vicinity, you can build a gazebo hut, , however, the waste from pruning the garden is no longer enough for her. In this case, a cheap waste from sawing timber - slab will help out. It is rather laborious, but not difficult, to debark his business. Then - 4 pillars, poles, some boards on the floor and steps, and you get something like what is on . Quite rustic, cheap and cheerful. By the way, the roof is not better combined with a hipped roof, but a much simpler gable roof.

How to build?

There is sometimes a harmful, and sometimes a useful square-cube law in technology. Its essence is that with an increase in the size of something while maintaining proportions, the volume of the thing increases along the cube of linear dimensions, and the cross-sectional area, cutouts, openings, grooves, etc. - by their square, i.e. slower. In it, by the way, lies the answer to a question that often perplexes young cadets-sailors and shipbuilding students: why a wide 7-meter pleasure yacht with a heavy false fin in a fresh wind goes with a strong roll, and a narrower one, with more relative sail area and without any additional means of imparting stability to a 70-meter barque - almost without a roll? Only in this case, the square-cube law is converted into a law of 3-4 degrees, because and heeling, from wind pressure on the sails, and restoring, depending on the volume of the immersed part of the hull, moments must also be multiplied by their shoulders, which have the dimension of length.

With regard to a children's house, the square-cube law works for the builder, making it much easier to build, costing less material, but no less reliable. Take, for example, a load-bearing beam half the size of an "adult" one. Its volume (and its own weight) will decrease by 2^3=8 times, and the cross-sectional area holding the load - by 2^2=4 times. Because the beam must also hold its own weight, an excess of bearing capacity appears, which can be used to simplify the design. In addition, the elongation of the beam also changes, i.e. the ratio of its length to its largest transverse dimension. The distribution of stresses in the part essentially depends on the elongation: their diagrams can change dramatically, although the beam looks the same, only smaller. We use these and some other circumstances to build a house for children to play easier and cheaper.

Base

The foundation as such is not needed for the children's house at all. If you want - lay at least a monolithic one with a basement, it won't be worse. But in general, it’s unnecessary, and on any kind of bearing soil, except for marshy and subsidence, but there is nothing for children to do there - it’s dangerous.

The point, firstly, is the bearing capacity of the soil. According to the square-cube law, the load from a house with a raging mob will not exceed 0.2-0.3 kg / sq. see, you can count. And any more or less bearing soil holds from 1 kg / sq. cm; in extreme cases - from 0.5 kg / sq. see stock in any case more than sufficient.

Secondly, in the features of frost heaving of the soil. On a plot up to about 5x5 m, it is almost uniform: no obvious hillocks are formed, the entire area rises a few cm in winter, and returns to its place by spring. The capital structure will not feel this either, and the rigidity of the children's house is higher due to the smaller elongation of its parts.

Therefore, the children's house can, after leveling the site, simply be placed on the trimmed timber (pos. 1 of the figure), concrete blocks (pos. 2), bricks, etc. Supports are still necessary so that the floor does not rot, but, as we will see below, they can be included in the design. Another facilitating moment is that the platform can not be leveled, but a suitable natural one can be selected according to the measurements. Construction slopes are standardized in mm / m (up to 3 mm / m or 0.003 for residential premises). For a house up to a maximum of 3x4 m, the permissible initial slope in degrees will be correspondingly greater and, due to the increased rigidity of the structure, is safe.

What is really necessary to prevent decay is the processing of the base from the underside, i.e. from the side facing the ground, pos. 3. The best impregnation is natural, heated in a water bath, drying oil or special impregnating oils for wood. As a last resort - mineral oil or mining, but then small fry can be allowed into the house no earlier than 2 weeks after construction is completed. Those who have experience with children will probably immediately prefer drying oil.

The top side of the base is best left bare, unfinished, pos. 4. If it goes under painting, it is necessary to proliferate or impregnate with a water-polymer emulsion or PVA diluted 3-5 or more times. The latter is preferable for a budget option: 0.5 kg of a can loosened in half a bucket of water is enough for the whole house.

What about props?

For a house on chicken legs and, especially, for a common street with a sports and gaming complex, a more impressive foundation is required, otherwise the naughty brethren can overturn it on themselves. That is, the supports of the house, wooden or steel, must be buried in the ground from 0.5-0.7 m in the first case and from 1.2-1.5 m for the collective use complex.

The technology for preparing the base in this case is usual: the lower ends of the wooden supports for a length equal to the depth of + (10-15) cm are treated with bituminous mastic or liquid, without filler, hot asphalt (tar). Steel ones are doused with the same tar; both of them are wrapped with roofing material and dug in or concreted. A sand cushion of 10-15 cm is poured under the heels of the supports. The wells for the supports are drilled with a garden drill with a diameter of 20 cm or more, so that the supports enter them with an interval of 3-5 cm, counting from the edge or corner of the column.

If you need a base durability of more than 15 years and do not want to mess with concrete, the lower ends of the wooden supports to the same length must be burned over the fire until charring to a depth of about 5-7 mm, continuously turning over the fire. Such a base is especially reliable if the supports are made of tar-pine or oak logs. During the excavations of Ancient Novgorod, burnt wooden foundations of buildings were found in many and, according to the conclusion of construction specialists, a considerable proportion of them remain suitable for construction.

There is a trick in firing wood on the foundation: suddenly the tree flared up; in no case should it be extinguished with water. It is necessary to knock down the flame with a felt or sand, extinguish the smoldering coals in the sand, and continue firing.

Design

The optimal technology for the construction of a children's playhouse is a prefabricated panel board according to a single power circuit. Frame, modeled on a country house or, you can also build, but there will be more work. The step-by-step instructions for building a prefabricated children's house are simple, see fig. below:

Prefabricated panel technology without significant changes is suitable for modular construction. For example, in fig. below are drawings of a 2-level house with a separate porch. A whole brood of 3-4 noisy "chicks" can already play in this. The elevation of the base above the ground can be increased by bringing the height of the above-ground part of the supports to 1.2-1.5 m.

When building, they first collect the bases and put their legs in the pits. Then they are leveled by level, adding / selecting the bedding, they put and sheathe the frames of the walls.

Rafter trusses are assembled according to the usual A-shaped pattern, see fig. on the right, put on temporary braces. Then a ridge is made from a pair of boards, at the top in the figure, the braces are removed, and the crate is laid under the selected roofing material. The rest is as before. case.

Country plywood option

A children's playhouse made of plywood boards is well suited for giving: for the winter it can be disassembled and folded into a compact package stored indoors. The assembly is carried out in a way that is well known to fans of Chinese puzzles: on the grips. Such a connection is also called "in a deep paw", because. it works in general in the same way as connecting the beams of a log house into a paw.

The assembly order and connection method are shown in fig. below. There are 2 tricks here. First - the toes of the paws of long walls should be turned down, pos. a. The second - the edge of the last roof sheet in the order of assembly should go to the edge of the penultimate one, pos. b. Then, not knowing that for disassembly it is necessary to press and move the last sheet obliquely up, the house can at least be turned over, and nothing will be done to it. And assembly / disassembly will take only a few minutes.

hut

In terms of fascination, game functionality and psychological and educational value, the hut in the garden is on the 2nd, if not 1st, place in the hierarchy of children's houses. How to make a regular hut tunnel is clear from the figure:

In the absence of spruce branches, but in the presence of hay, straw, reeds, it will be easier to build a hut-chalet, see fig. on right.

Actually, "hut-chalet" is a tautology; "chalet" in Russian is a hut. Flexible rods or wire are laid in the flyers of the chalet frame. It is not necessary to fix the top of its frame with a thin bucket: if the flyers-supports are with forks at the top, they can simply be hooked onto each other, see fig. left.

Sheaves (sheaves) of sheathing material are hung on protruding knots in rows, starting from the bottom. In order for the sheathing to be smoother, it is advisable to take the strapping rods with knots; sheaves are also hung on them.

The pinnacle of hut construction is a wigwam hut or a cone hut with a neck, it is never stuffy in it. The installation method is shown in fig. below. If the lower ends of the poles are placed in a trench and covered with excavated earth, it will stand for more than one year. In the same way, you can put a gazebo for adults. Having decorated it with taste, we will see a new meaning in the well-known "In the hut rustling with silks ...".

It is desirable to add something to the hut for children's games. Child psychologists joke that a normal child should be able to get dirty even in a sterile medical box. There is no big trouble in this, see at the beginning, but from a hut with a straw bedding, small fry sometimes climbs out utterly grimy. In order for adults to have less trouble with washing and washing, it is better to put a children's hut on a platform. It is easy to arrange it between the trees, see fig. on right. And for the kids, he will immediately acquire the reputation of a tree house, which is the coolest thing.

cardboard houses

It makes sense to make a children's house made of cardboard, firstly, for the smallest, sliders yet. They don’t have any requests for decoration (they still don’t see their eyes in full force), but they grow quickly and will soon outgrow a solid house. "Design" is reduced to an unnecessary cardboard box, pos. 1 in the figure:

Secondly, for artistic natures, pos. 2. A hook so that the eccentricity is reborn into purposefulness, in this case the most catchy and technologically complex nodes are window and door trim. And then - create, invent, try, dad and mom will help. A complete fiasco - it doesn’t matter, we’ll make a new one, whatever that cardboard is.

Another option is a garden and country house, pos. 3. Think fragile? And there, plywood is glued on the bottom and ceiling from the inside, the season will stand. If there are foam shipping pads left from the contents, even better. Glue them on the PVA, turning the flat side inward. Only it is also necessary to paste over with plywood or the same cardboard: after all, foam plastic, but how not to pick it up if it is pickled?

House in an apartment

A playhouse for a child in an apartment is also necessary. And all the more necessary if the family gets out of the city occasionally. There is a place for a children's corner, it is desirable to build a permanent house there, from plasterboard on a wooden frame or plywood. Construction technology - conventional, pos. 1-3 in fig. There is a place, it is desirable to make the booth bigger so that a working corner fits in it; Children need solitude and peace during classes just like adults. In this case, a loft bed can be equipped on the 2nd floor.

A temporary version of the apartment children's house is a tent. Plastic pipes, pos. 4, and on the tent-house - bent metal-plastic, fastened in the corners and in the middle with adhesive tape, pos. 5. These assembled houses need storage space. With its lack, you can hang the tent of the Shemakhan queen, as in a garden. True, not all boys like it. To hang the tent on the cabinet, you need to put a rod from a pipe, securely fastened. In order not to interfere when not needed, it is made swivel, sliding, telescopic, etc.

Are papers needed?

A children's playhouse, if it is not on a foundation, is not legally a building structure, nor is it real estate. In fact, this is a homemade toy not for sale, the production of which is not regulated in any way. Under the sports equipment with all the requirements for it, you can still “pull up” gaming complexes, but as the quarrelers say, there is a clue - there will be an excuse. Therefore, the documentation of a yard children's house for collective use is extremely simple, but for a personal one it is not needed at all.

If the house is intended for all the surrounding children, its project consists of the following sheets. According to the sheet - to the views of the facades of each module, with cross sections and a plan, as in Fig., And for a modular one, a general view; isometric is possible. That is, for a house with a porch, 3 sheets are needed, and for a simple one - 1. Another one is for a plan with the location of the house on the site. These sheets are shown to a representative of the house management company or, if the house is in the collective management of tenants, their general meeting is collected and presented to him. A permissive resolution of the manager or a resolution in the minutes of the meeting is enough for the house to gain full legal force. And the rest - if only the children liked it.

Every parent wants to turn the life of their child into a fairy tale with the help of a children's house or a tent in the garden.

Owners of personal plots can buy a ready-made playground or build it on their own.

Such a structure will bring a lot of joy to the baby, help the development of his imagination, and greatly enrich children's games.

You can learn how to make a house on the playground with your own hands from improvised materials from this article.

Types of children's houses and requirements for them

Any size children's house must meet the following requirements:

  • design safety;
  • safety of building materials used.

Materials used in the construction of the playhouse must not be toxic.

This rule applies to all used building and finishing materials, paints and varnishes and impregnations for lumber.

It is important to exclude sharp corners and rough surfaces which children can injure themselves.

For parents who want to build a garden playhouse with their own hands, it will be useful to familiarize yourself with finished projects and design developments.

Such information will help broaden your horizons and become indispensable in the design many details.

Sizes and shapes houses on the playground can be very different. Any fantasies and ideas are brought to life thanks to a well-designed scheme and correct calculations.

Concerning materials used, they are presented in a wide range:

  1. lumber;
  2. durable plastic;
  3. pallets;
  4. plywood;
  5. cardboard;
  6. polycarbonate.

Outdoor buildings for children's games can look like a house, a castle, a hut, a lair.

With the right design, any idea is complemented accessories, which turns the playground into a small fairy-tale town.

Choosing a place for a playground

A playhouse for children is being built on playground.

This area should be located in such a way that there is no nearby parking area, open water and barbecue areas. In no case should there be wells and septic tanks next to it.

The children's territory with a summer house will be perfectly complemented by such details, as:

  • garden gnomes and other cartoon characters;
  • appropriate backlight, for example, LED bulbs on the walls of the house or along the curb of the slide;
  • small green mazes;
  • , hammocks;
  • sports ladders, slides and horizontal bars.

Wooden house

Wood, as a building material, inspires confidence in everyone.

Build a house for children on your country or garden plot lumber available to everyone who wants it.

A house built, for example, from softwood will have a positive effect on children's health. This is due to the content of volatile substances in this wood, which stimulate the protective properties of the body.

Such a building can perfectly fit into most styles of country buildings or become an additional decoration of any suburban area.

Before starting work, decide on type of playhouse and its dimensions. It is necessary to indicate the presence of such additions as a terrace, slide or stairs.

The main accents that are paid attention to when developing a house:

  • stationarity, compactness, mobility of the product;
  • height of windows from floor level and their number;
  • door height;
  • wall surfaces;

The windows of the house, designed for preschool children, it is enough to do at a height 700 mm from floor level.

In them, older children will be able to watch squatting, and kids - standing up. Since windows are a source of light, they need to be made 2 or 3.

Door height must be at least 400 mm taller than the child. The walls of the building, for security reasons, must be exceptionally smooth.

So that children do not have a desire to climb onto the roof, it should be done gable, not flat.

How to build a children's house with your own hands

Materials and tools

For a wooden garden house you will need the following: materials:

  • beam section 50X50;
  • plywood from 8 mm thickness or boards for sheathing;
  • roofing;
  • brick;
  • carpenter's and painter's tool kits.

The simplest option is a wooden frame, sheathed block house. This material is a planed board made of logs.

Block house Produced in a wide range of standard sizes. External attractiveness and strength qualities make it possible to use it with confidence in construction on playgrounds.

This building material is distinguished by affordable prices and environmental friendliness. Assembling such a house is not difficult. To do this, it is enough to have on hand screwdriver, tape measure, level and hacksaw. A house sheathed with vinyl siding will look very aesthetically pleasing. Read more about this material

Foundation construction

Construction starts from . For its construction, it is necessary to mark the installation site of the house on the playground.

This should be a flat area pegs(4 pieces 40 cm high) and twine the perimeter of the future structure is marked.

At the corners of the markings, holes are dug deep 100 cm for support bars. The same pits are prepared for beams (pillars) at the places where doors and windows are installed.

Each beam for the construction of the foundation must first be treated with special impregnations from rotting.

Crushed stone is poured into the pits to a height 150 mm on which the bars are installed.

The supports installed in the pits should pour cement and wait until the cement is completely set (about a week).

Floor and wall construction

A few days after pouring, the supports should be nailed 4 strong beams marked at the level of the future floor of the building.

As a result, it should be frame, in which there are support poles in the corners of the house and in the places where doors and windows are installed, as well as horizontally fixed bars.

The resulting frame is sheathed with a block house in accordance with drawings and diagrams. The material for sheathing can be selected the right size even at the time of purchase, which will allow you not to waste time adjusting it.

During the installation of walls, windows and doors. To do this, holes are marked and cut out in the walls of the desired diameter. Openings should be decorated so that they do not have sharp edges and cracks.

To build a floor, on the beams already placed on the pillars, they are nailed additional boards.

They must be installed at the same distance from each other and represent a reliable and strong likeness of a lattice. Plywood is laid out on a reinforced base in 2 layers.

The top layer of plywood overlap bottom seams.

Roof installation

From a bar of the same characteristics that was used to build the frame of the building, a triangular shape is made roof gables.

For this ends 4 bars of the same length are cut at 450. They are fastened together with screws along 2 beams in the form of a triangle.

The internal angle of the fastened parts should be 90 degrees. Their size in each case is selected individually, taking into account the size of the house.

Finished pediments-triangles installed on opposite walls of the building. If the building is large, you can install not 2, but 3 or 4 gables.

They are first horizontally stuffed with timber, then they are reinforced with boards and covered with a roof. The roof for a children's house can be made of shingles, boards, polycarbonate or even straw.

House decoration

You can decorate a finished children's house different ways, for example, arrange a shallow pond with a “princess Frog”, and build and decorate a house for a child in the tradition of Russian fairy tales.

It should also be remembered wood processing, which will extend the service life and help to maintain its decorative appeal for a long time.

Means of lumber processing:

  • antiseptics(to protect against mold, fungus and insects);
  • varnishes and special impregnations(create an invisible film, repel dirt and do not allow wooden materials to darken);
  • flame retardants(reduce the degree of combustibility of wood).

Important advice! The compositions can be applied using rollers, in accordance with the recommendations indicated by the manufacturers.

Where can I buy a children's house

Companies engaged in the production of orphanages offer to the attention of buyers huge selection.

The development of the structure scheme, its design and functionality are carried out by professional designers, artists and engineers.

You can buy an inexpensively beautiful house with educational game elements on the Internet, in special departments of large supermarkets, in children's goods stores and in construction markets.

Here you can order game house or whole complex. Qualified employees, developing the project, will take into account all the wishes of the client.

The price of play orphanages is different and is presented in a wide range: from 9,000 to 50,000 rubles. Each buyer will be able to choose the most acceptable option for himself.

How to build a wooden children's house with your own hands, more clearly, you can see in this video:

Craft - a house with your own hands - will delight any child. It will take only a couple of days to work, and plywood, OSB, pallets or ordinary boards can be used as a material. Detailed step-by-step instructions and drawings will help even a person who is far from construction understand the process.

A developing house can be made with a wide variety of materials, and it is better to make the final choice yourself, having studied the advantages and disadvantages of each of them.

The most commonly used budget options:

  • plywood

You can also build a house from OSB, wooden boards or chipboard.

Plywood is the best choice because:

  • it is durable, and after treatment with special impregnations it is able to withstand adverse environmental influences (precipitation, temperature changes, insects)
  • available - a do-it-yourself plywood house will cost less than one made from many other materials
  • looks aesthetically pleasing
  • has low thermal conductivity, thanks to which the child will be warm and cozy in the garden house

In addition, working with plywood is simple: it can be sawn, drilled, painted without effort.

The only drawback is the toxicity of the glue used to join the veneer sheets together. When buying, you need to study the characteristics of the product: plywood should be labeled E0 - this material contains a minimum amount of formaldehyde, and the product is considered environmentally friendly.

pallets

A house made of pallets can become a favorite place for a child to play, but you need to be careful when choosing the material.

Can not use:

  • pallets that bear the IPPC marking - for their processing, harmful chemicals are used that provoke the development of various diseases;
  • used pallets in the markets - after long-term operation in the open air, wooden structures that have not been treated with protective equipment may become fragile, and the building will soon become unusable;
  • pallets painted in bright colors - it is impossible to vouch for the quality and safety of the paint, and it is better not to risk the health of the child.

Do-it-yourself children's wooden house must be built using high-quality material without visible damage: cracks, traces of decay, mold or paint residue.

Sizing

A wooden house in a summer cottage can be of any size, and you need to focus on the age of the child. However, it is unreasonable to build a very small structure - in a couple of years, a grown-up child will become cramped in it.

The optimal parameters of a durable hut made from improvised materials: height - 2 m; width - 2.5 m, length - 2 m. Inside such a building, you can organize a full-fledged place for games: arrange children's furniture, place toys.

Building a plywood house

For crafts (a house with your own hands), you will first need to build a frame, and only then sheathe it with plywood sheets. Using the same technology, you can make a house from OSB or chipboard.

Dimensions of the future building: length and width - 2 and 3 m, wall height 1.5 m, in the ridge height of the house - 2.2 m.

Drawings can be done independently or use ready-made ones.

Materials tools

Need to prepare:

  • for the frame - boards 5 × 10 cm
  • for the subfloor - boards 1.2 × 10 cm
  • for finished floor and external wall cladding - OSB 9 mm thick
  • for interior cladding - plywood 6 mm (sanded)

So that the house can be used not only in the summer, but also when it gets colder, it is recommended to insulate it. To do this, you can use foam 10 cm thick. Additionally, glass, slats and a door may be required.

To process and finish a wooden house built with your own hands, you will need to stock up:

  • anti-corrosion and anti-fungal impregnations
  • flame retardant
  • acrylic paint in desired color
  • water based varnish

Base assembly

Before you make a house, you need to prepare the foundation of the future structure:

  1. A rectangle is knocked down from the boards, the sides of which are equal to 2 and 3 m.
  2. Transverse boards are nailed to it, which will serve as floor joists. You need to place them at a distance of 50 cm from each other.
  3. From above, the rectangle is sheathed with thin strips - they will support the insulation from below.
  4. Now the structure is turned over and the foam is placed in the cells. The gaps left between the insulation and the boards are sealed with mounting foam.
  5. When this stage is completed, the structure is attached to the wall and the foam board begins to be covered with a subfloor board.
  6. OSB is attached to the subfloor.

Important! There should be a technical gap of about 1 cm between the subfloor and the OSB floor. If you fasten the sheets closely, they can deform over time with changes in humidity and air temperature.

Frame installation

Guided by their drawing, they assemble the frame of the walls. For this, boards 5 × 10 cm are used.

Racks should be located at a distance of 1 m, in places where it is planned to install an entrance door and windows, racks should be double.

Since plywood and OSB were chosen as sheathing, the finished structure will have sufficient strength, and therefore there is no need to install inclined supports. They may be required if slats or lining are used instead of sheet material.

Foundation device

The foundation can be made with your own hands from improvised materials. For example, old logs are suitable: they will need to be hewn, trimmed and covered with protective impregnations.

Prepared logs are placed in parallel at an equal distance from each other. Boards are nailed on top. A ready-made base is placed on this structure.

The base is attached to the foundation using metal brackets.

The next step is setting up the walls. They must be strictly vertical. To facilitate the work, you can make temporary mowing.

Having given the wall the desired position, it is nailed to the base with the help of long nails.

Roof device

First, a skate is mounted - a board is nailed in the center of the structure, it will form a slope.

Using a jigsaw, corner cuts are made in the boards under the rafter legs. First, preliminary angles are made, then they are applied to the structure and the exact place of the cut is marked. Having made one tight-fitting blank, they transfer the shape of the cut to other boards using a pencil.

Prepared boards are nailed to the frame. Cross boards are installed between them. For roof sheathing, thin wooden boards are used.

Or such an option

sheathing

The house is almost ready - it remains only to sheathe it outside and inside.

Sheet material (plywood or OSB) is cut in such a way that the joints of the plates are on the racks. To fix plywood, you can use nails or self-tapping screws.

All wooden elements are treated with protective agents. Painting and varnishing begin only after they have dried. If you ignore this point, the wooden house will quickly become unusable - mold will begin to develop on it, it will be spoiled by insects, it will begin to rot.

Building a house from pallets

A country house made of pallets for children is good because if a single element is damaged, it will not be necessary to disassemble the entire structure - it will be enough just to replace the rotten part with a similar one.

Materials and tools

You will need:

  • metal brush
  • coarse sandpaper or grinder
  • nail puller, saw
  • drill
  • a hammer
  • acrylic paints
  • nails, screws
  • wood glue
  • ruberoid
  • water based varnish
  • brushes

It is also advisable to prepare a plastic film - it will need to cover the structure during the construction process in order to protect it from possible rain.

Material preparation

Pallets are cleaned of dirt with a stiff brush, and then disassembled into transverse boards (they will be used for the frame) and thin ones (for wall cladding). The easiest way to carry out this operation is with a nail puller and a saw.

All boards are carefully processed with coarse sandpaper or a grinder.

Assembling the house

Work order:

  1. Bricks or stones can be used as a foundation.
  2. The base is made from transverse boards from pallets. Lay the lags.
  3. Lay thin boards from the pallet on the logs. For arranging the floor, you can use not boards, but chipboard.
  4. From the transverse boards knocked together, the frame of the house is assembled.
  5. Install the skate. The process is described in more detail in the plywood house assembly manual.
  6. The finished frame is sheathed with thin boards. For fastening, nails or wood screws are used.
  7. Using a saw, cut the protruding boards.
  8. Chipboard is laid on the roof, then covered with roofing material. For finishing, you can use metal tiles or any other material.

The children's house made of pallets is almost ready - it remains to insert the windows and paint it.

Window Assembly

If the design is more solid, then you can insert windows. Windows are also made of wood with their own hands. To do this, take a pallet board, cut a groove in the center, after which one of the parts is chipped off. You can make the blank in a different way: grind off excess wood with a planer.

For one window, 4 blanks are required. Each prepared board is sawn from both ends at an angle of 45 °, after which they are assembled together, smeared with wood glue and pulled together with self-tapping screws.

When windows and doors are inserted, all wooden structural elements are first treated with protective impregnations, and when they dry, they are painted in the desired color.

Having familiarized yourself with the process of creating a children's house, you can begin to implement the project. Such an undertaking will require minimal financial investments, but the child will be happy and will be able to play in the fresh air.
