Today's floriculture and horticulture is difficult to imagine without auxiliary substances that contribute to the rooting and full development of ornamental and agricultural crops. The agrochemical industry is expanding its range of new products every year. Of particular interest to summer residents has recently been "Zircon", a drug that at the same time it is a fertilizer and a growth stimulator for plants. Let's try to figure out what its benefits and harms are.

Did you know? Scientists have discovered more than 70 chemical elements in the composition of plants, and for normal growth, all cultures need only 15: C, O, H, N, K, Mg, P, Ca, S, B, Fe, Mn, Cu, Mo, Zn .

"Zircon" - fertilizer for plants

After applying fertilizers of biological and chemical origin to the soil, flowerpots, fruit and vegetable crops often experience stress, stopping in growth. "Zircon" is used to protect plants and as a regulator of the process of root formation, growth, flowering and fruiting, as well as to increase resistance to pathogenic bacteria and viruses. The action of the drug is often compared with immunoprotective agents. In fact, it does not contain the necessary chemical elements for growth. Its value is in modulating the protective properties of crops and enhancing the action of useful substances that have entered the root system. Therefore, the tool is not recommended to be used monotonously as a fertilizer.

The wide spectrum of action of "Zircon" is confirmed in the instructions for use of the drug, where, in particular, its use is recommended at the first signs of pathogenic flora. Indoor flowers and seedlings of vegetables are treated with a prophylactic solution to resist powdery mildew, late blight, bacteriosis, rot, fusarium, scab, moniliosis, transfer and other pathogenic microbes.

As a fertilizer, "Zircon" is effective before planting seeds in the ground, since stimulates the development and pecking of the sprout a week earlier than usual and improves the friendliness of seedlings. Moreover, the drug helps plants adapt without loss to sudden changes in temperature, changes in the chemical composition of the soil during transplantation, and rooting of cuttings. It is necessary to prepare a solution of "Zircon" as a fertilizer strictly according to the instructions. For instance:

  • onions, regardless of the variety and color of the peel, are fed with a solution of 1 ampoule of a biostimulant and 1 liter of water, which is insisted for 18 hours before watering;
  • a similar solution is diluted for fertilizers of all seedlings of fruit crops. Before watering, it is insisted for 12 hours;
  • all other garden and vegetable plants are fertilized with a universal solution of 20 drops of the drug and 1 liter of water, which is insisted for about a day;
  • "Zircon" as a fertilizer is used for indoor plants at the rate of 8 drops of the product per 1 liter of water, and in the process of budding, the amount of the drug is halved.

Did you know? Biostimulants reduce pesticide load, improve soil health, prevent micronutrient loss and limit the entry of harmful substances into the ecosystem..

How "Zircon" works on plants, mechanism and active substance

The composition of "Zircon" includes an extract of echinacea purpurea and esters, based on dissolved hydroxycinnamic acids. As a result, all components of the drug in the complex at the cellular level have an antiviral, antimicrobial, antioxidant and antitoxic effect on garden and vegetable crops. The tool is not capable of harming either a person, or flora, or the environment. At the same time, it rejuvenates the plant. For example, if you add a couple of drops to the water for a bouquet, the flowers will cheer up and last much longer.

The component is well combined with almost all known biological and synthetic insecticides and fungicides, with the exception of fertilizers with an alkaline reaction, which neutralize its effect. In any case, before work, it is mandatory to check the preparations for compatibility. For this purpose, a small dose of both substances is mixed and observed. The appearance of a precipitate indicates a poor interaction.

The Zircon preparation, as stated in the instructions for use, can be used as Velcro when treating plants with other protective agents against diseases and pests. As a result of a chemical reaction, their action will be enhanced.

Plant growth regulator "Zircon": instructions for use

Often the drug comes to the aid of capricious potted and vegetable plants, influencing their growth inhibitors. As a growth stimulator "Zircon" is effective, because it strengthens the root system and promotes its development, accelerates the growth of shoots, flowering, prevents shedding of the ovary, and facilitates the absorption of nutrients. These processes became possible due to the effect of the drug components on the phytohormones responsible for the growth, flowering and fruiting of the crop.

"Zircon" is of particular importance for indoor plants, when, under home growing conditions, overdried or waterlogged air does not allow creating the microclimate necessary for the flowerpot, thereby making it vulnerable to diseases and harmful insects. The drug modulates their immunity, helps to adapt to stressful situations caused by heaters, central heating and insufficient lighting, and in cases with exotic crops, even rearranging the pot. We mentioned above how to use Zircon to fertilize indoor plants, and to stimulate the growth of flowerpots, before planting, their seeds are soaked for 16 hours in a solution of 1 drop of the drug and 300 ml of water. It is recommended to water the bulbs and sprouts with the same mixture when transplanting decorative flower crops.

Important! Water for soaking seeds should be at room temperature.

It is possible to use the plant growth regulator "Zircon" at the initial stages of agrotechnical culture, as stated in the instructions. According to the classical scheme, 1 ampoule of the substance is diluted in 1 liter of water. Depending on the type of processing and characteristics of plants, the norm is regulated. For instance:

  • flower seeds are soaked for 8 hours in a solution of 40 drops of a biostimulant and 1 liter of water;
  • the same mixture is prepared for seedlings of fruit trees and climbing rose bushes, provided that their rhizomes are kept in liquid for 12 hours;
  • for planting other young crops, it is enough to dilute 20 drops;
  • when soaking vegetable seeds in "Zircon", the proportion of 10 drops per 1 liter of water is observed and the grains are kept for up to 8 hours;
  • 20 drops are dissolved in potato root crops in 1 liter of water, with a consumption of a liter of solution per 2 bags of planting material;
  • but the bulbs of gladiolus in a similar solution should be tormented for a whole day;
  • other bulbous flower crops are diluted with 40 drops and 1 liter of water and soaked for two days;
  • to stimulate the growth of cucumbers, you will need to soak the grains for 8 hours in a solution of 5 drops of Zircon and 1 liter of water.
The use of the drug is practiced not only during planting, but throughout the entire growing season. In order for the seedlings to grow well, over time they are sprayed with a solution of 4 drops of the drug and 1 liter of water:
  • cucumbers are sprayed when the first three leaves appear and at the beginning of budding;
  • tomatoes are processed immediately after planting and three times during flowering;
  • eggplant and pepper are sprayed after planting and during the formation of buds;
  • coniferous ornamental crops are treated with "Zircon" to the extent necessary;
  • zucchini, melons, watermelons - when three leaves appear and during the budding period;
  • young seedlings of apple trees, pears - at the beginning of budding and 14 days after flowering.

Important! If the contents of the ampoule are stratified, it must be shaken well.

The use of "Zircon" for seedlings is recommended 1 time per week with a sharp decrease in temperature, lack of soil moisture, as well as for damaged by pests, transplanted specimens.

For berry crops, a single dose of a biostimulant is increased to 15 drops; for cherries and sweet cherries, the norm is 10 drops, the treatment is carried out during the budding period and 2 weeks after flowering. Potatoes are treated with "Zircon" as a growth stimulator immediately after germination and at the beginning of the formation of inflorescences according to the proportion indicated in the instructions: 13 drops per 10 liters of water. By analogy, all types of cabbage are processed.

The main advantages of plant treatment with growth stimulator "Zircon"

The main feature of the drug is quality and non-toxicity. It also has other benefits:

  • in treated crops, the ripening process occurs several weeks earlier than usual;
  • after soaking the seeds, powerful shoots quickly grow with a root system that is strong and resistant to diseases and pests;
  • productivity increases by 50%;
  • the terms of rooting and adaptation to new conditions are reduced;
  • the level of accumulation of pesticides, heavy metals, radionuclides in products is reduced;
  • "Zircon" helps the plant survive drought, temporary cold, lack of light, excess moisture;
  • fertilizer "Zircon" after application begins to act at the cellular level, without injuring the plants;
  • contributes to the normalization of homeostasis, that is, the metabolic processes of culture;
  • works even at low concentrations.

The use of "Zircon" and security

The drug is of low toxicity, it has been assigned the fourth hazard class for humans, mammals, bees and aquatic organisms. The agent does not have the properties to accumulate in soils, pollute groundwater, poison plants.

But, despite this, before diluting the Zircon solution, carefully read the instructions and safety precautions. Remember: all preparatory work should be carried out on the street, protecting yourself with overalls, rubber gloves, a respirator and goggles. Also important headgear and waterproof, better rubber shoes.

Important! If the Citron solution is dropped on the skin, immediately wash it off with plenty of running water.In case of contact with the eyes, first rinse them with a solution of ½ teaspoon of baking soda and 200 ml of water, then repeat the procedure with ordinary running water in large quantities.If solution particles are swallowed, drink 2 to 3 glasses of water and try to induce vomiting. Then take a suspension of 3-5 tablespoons of crushed activated charcoal and 1 glass of water.

Spraying of plants is recommended to be carried out in the morning or evening. In heat, rain or fog, the planned procedure should be postponed until the onset of dry and calm weather. During work, in no case is it allowed to eat or smoke. Do not use kitchen utensils designed for cooking food. If, due to inaccuracy, you accidentally knocked over the container and the solution spilled, sprinkle the place with sand. After the liquid has been absorbed, collect everything and throw it in the household waste container. Rinse thoroughly with water. After the work done, they thoroughly wash all equipment and containers, change clothes, wash their hands several times with soap, and wash their face. In case of poisoning, call a doctor immediately and get out into fresh air.

Conditions for storing the drug

Having understood the action of "Zircon" as a growth regulator and fertilizer, the features of its use and norms, pay attention to the expiration dates of the drug. Unopened packaging can be stored for three years from the date of production. The most suitable for these purposes will be a dark and dry place, away from food, medicines, children and animals, at temperatures up to +25 ° C.

The remains of the finished solution can be stored for no more than three days in a place protected from sunlight. In such cases, it is important to acidify the contents in the container with citric acid at the rate of 1 g of powder per 5 liters of water. On the street, the mixture can be stored for no more than a day. It is better to prepare the drug immediately before processing, clearly counting the required amount.

There is no need to argue about the benefits of fertilizers, but few people know that they can also cause harm. An abundance of top dressing can lead to stress and deplete crops, which will become lethargic and sickly. To prevent this from happening, many gardeners use zircon.

What is zircon?

Strictly speaking, zircon is not a fertilizer in the literal sense of the word: it does not introduce useful mineral and organic compounds into the soil. Zircon is a useful supplement that helps plants grow and develop at an accelerated pace at the cellular level. It's for sale in containers of 1, 5, 10 and 20 liters, has a light yellow or yellow-green color and a characteristic alcohol smell; when diluted in water, it foams a little.

Zircon is completely safe and consists of plant components, the main of which is purple echinacea, and the active ingredient is hydroxycinnamic acids. It helps to enhance the growth and development of sprouts and roots, protects plants from stress and disease. It can be used in combination with a variety of vitamins and supplements for both horticultural crops and houseplants.

Zircon works in several directions at once:

  1. Stimulates the growth and development of roots, reduces the period of rooting of sprouts in open ground;
  2. Helps to strengthen the plant: thanks to zircon, they perfectly tolerate the lack of moisture, light and heat, as well as their excess;
  3. Increases immunity to certain diseases and bacteria: rot, scab, late blight, bacteriosis;
  4. Improves the taste properties of fruits, at the same time, the yield increases by about 2 times;
  5. Helps reduce the amount of heavy metals in fruits;
  6. The ripening period becomes shorter by 1-2 weeks.

Zircon can be used when soaking seeds before planting, feeding them to the soil during growth and fruit formation. Due to its effect on the shell, the seeds receive almost 2.5 times more water than usual. Simultaneously happening activation of growth processes, sprouts wake up faster and begin to develop. In the future, the amount of biomass increases and a strong root system is formed.

In the future, the activation of the root system occurs: the volume of the roots increases by 3 times. At the same time, flowering is accelerated, the number of flowers increases, and zircon resists premature shedding.

When applying zircon fertilizer, you need to follow the main rule: in no case should you overfeed the plants. It is better to use a lower concentration, but often than once a year pour a liter onto the beds. For ten liters of water, you need to use only 10 ml of cyclone - this is about 40 drops. If the substance is separated into layers, the ampoule must be shaken strongly.

Before use, it is better to acidify the water with a small amount of citric acid (0.2 grams per liter) so that reduce alkaline reaction. Also, do not use zinc dishes to create a solution: plastic, enamel or glass will do. It is better to spray the plant at night or late in the evening, as the circus decomposes in the light. You can store zircon for no more than a day in a dark place.

It is necessary to use the circus with mineral or organic fertilizers, alone it is practically useless, as the plants quickly "suck out" useful substances from the soil. Before applying zircon, the fertilizer must be checked for compatibility. To do this, you need to displace a few substances and wait: if sediment forms at the bottom, they should not be combined. It is also better not to use circus with alkaline fertilizers, as they reduce the effect of zircon.

seed soaking

In order for the seeds to germinate quickly and be prepared for contact with the external environment, they can be soaked for several hours in advance. Would need a flat dish, a liter of water and some zircon.

Use during the vegetative period

For additional impact on sprouts and activation of their growth, you can additionally spray plants once a week. This is especially necessary for crops that have suffered stress, drought, cold, have been infected or attacked by pests. They must be sprayed in the morning, before the sun appears, in calm weather, otherwise the solution will simply fly off the leaves without having time to bring benefits.

  1. Cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and other crops need a solution of 4 drops of zircon in a liter of warm water. They are sprayed after transplantation, when the first leaves appear and at the beginning of flowering.
  2. Melons, watermelons and zucchini should be sprayed at the first sprouts and buds with a solution of 4 drops of zircon diluted in 3 liters of water.
  3. Root crops will require a solution of 6-8 drops of zircon per 10 liters of water, they are sprayed when the first shoots appear. An exception is potatoes: they are treated with a solution of 13 drops per 10 liters of water when sprouts appear and when buds appear.
  4. Cabbage will require top dressing with a solution of 14 drops of zircon per 10 liters during heading.
  5. For berries, 15 drops of the substance per 10 liters of water will be required, they are processed only during the appearance of buds.
  6. Any garden flowers can be sprayed with a solution of 4 drops of zircon per liter of water during active growth and during budding. In the second case, the concentration must be increased by 2 times.
  7. Coniferous trees will require only 4 drops of zircon per liter of water, seedlings are treated.
  8. Apples and pears are treated with a solution of 4 drops per liter of water during budding and 2 weeks after the flowers fall. Cherries and cherries are also sprayed, but the concentration of the solution should be higher - 8-10 drops of zircon.

Benefits for indoor plants

In addition to spraying horticultural and horticultural crops, you can use cyclone for processing indoor plants. The drug is effective even when exposed to orchids and roses.

  1. Before planting seeds or cuttings, you can soak them for 14-16 hours in a solution of zircon: 40 drops per liter of water. If you are planting bulbs, you can leave them in the solution for 24 hours.
  2. For irrigation, a solution of 4 drops of a substance per liter of water is used.
  3. To make cut flowers last longer in a vase, you can add half a drop of zircon to the water.

Precautionary measures

Zircon pretty environmentally friendly, insects and pets. It does not accumulate in soil and water, does not change their composition and is not toxic, but it is still necessary to take precautions.

  1. You need to work with zircon in a mask, glasses, gloves, completely covering the skin. After finishing work, thoroughly wash the body and clothes.
  2. Do not store and use the drug near food and drinks.
  3. You can't smoke next to it.
  4. If you spilled zircon, you must immediately cover it with sand or clay, then thoroughly sweep and rinse the floor.

Despite the fact that zircon is not hazardous to health, ingestion by any means is strictly prohibited.

  1. If the substance comes into contact with the skin, immediately rinse the area with plenty of water;
  2. If it enters the stomach, it is necessary to drink several glasses of water and induce vomiting, then take activated charcoal (1 tablet per 10 kg of a person's weight);
  3. If the solution gets into the eyes, they are washed with a solution of baking soda (half a teaspoon per glass of water), then washed with plenty of clean water.

Outcome

It is impossible to use zircon as a fertilizer, but it is a safe and effective drug that helps increase productivity, accelerate the growth and development of many crops. Applying a circus with fertilizers can achieve a good result.

Zircon is a drug that stimulates the growth and development of more than 65 types of plant cultures. Zircon has many positive qualities, but the main one is that it is made on the basis of natural components that have a beneficial effect on fruiting and the development of the root system. In order for plants to be resistant to diseases and pests, experienced gardeners use zircon.

It has a positive effect on the growth of healthy, strong seedlings of any vegetable crops, and its positive properties also affect coniferous plants. It has been observed that zircon has a positive effect on the rooting and adaptation of plants to transplants.

Agronomists recommend using zircon before planting seeds or seedlings. In addition, for plants, zircon contributes to an increase in the adaptive processes of the plant to an increase or decrease in the temperature regime of both the external and internal microclimate.

Advantages of a biostimulator

The drug does not have a detrimental effect on pests and pathogens of fungal, bacterial and viral diseases. Such a tool improves immunity and stimulates growth processes in the roots, which positively affects germination, rooting of cuttings and the appearance of seedlings.

The use of a biostimulator provides an effective effect of the drug on tissue cells, and thereby there is a decrease in transpiration processes and an increase in the absorption of water and nutrients by the roots.

Zircon is obtained from a biological material of plant origin, and in composition it is an alcohol solution of hydroxycinnamic acids in a proportion of 0.1 grams per 1 liter. Accelerates emergence of shoots and effectively influences germination.

Fertilizer accelerates flowering, growth and development of plants. The product reduces the harmful effects of direct sunlight.

Fertilizer has an effect at the cellular level and helps to adapt in critical conditions (drought, waterlogging). Zircon increases plant resistance to the following diseases: fusarium, bacteriosis, rot, powdery mildew, scab, late blight, etc. The fertilizer has a set of positive qualities in use:

  1. Improving the quality of fruits and ground parts of plants.
  2. Acceleration of growth processes, about a week earlier they begin to bear fruit.
  3. Yield increase by 50%.
  4. Stimulation of root formation and fruiting.
  5. Improving the taste of berries, vegetables and reducing the content of heavy metals.
  6. Rapid adaptation and rooting.
  7. Ease in transferring temperature changes (light, moisture).

Action spectrum

  • seeds, its effect provokes the penetration of liquid through a hard shell, resulting in healthy and strong sprouts, which are subsequently used for planting in the ground;
  • cuttings treated with fertilizer develop a strong root system, which is very important for root formation. Zircon has a positive effect on the formation of roots in cuttings of sakura, almonds, lilacs, barberries, horses, arborvitae, cypress, currants. As you know, the stalk is a segment of the shoot of any plant, that is, for further development, it must form roots;
  • a positive effect on the development of flower ovaries, that is, the number of flowers on plants treated with a biostimulant increases several times.

Important! Zircon has a positive effect only in cases of decent plant care. That is, if flowers or vegetables grow unkempt, then zircon will not solve all problems.

Fertilizer is beneficial at all stages of the growing season, but only with systematic watering and other plant care measures.

Composition of components

The drug mainly consists of components of plant origin, such as caffeic, chicory and chlorogenic acids. These acids are produced in the plant - Echinacea purpurea.

Thus, the composition of zircon does not contain chemical elements and allows you to get the fruits of vegetables and fruit crops with satisfactory taste.

Vegetable and fruit fruits grown with regular treatments of the drug are optimally suited for the processing and production of baby and diet food. Plants can be used in pharmaceuticals to obtain drugs.

On sale, zircon is presented in the form of ampoules, with a volume of 1 milliliter, sometimes in plastic bottles with a volume of 1, 5, 10 and 20 liters. The biostimulant smells of alcohol, when diluted with water, foam appears, as a result, the solution acquires a yellowish-green color.

For effective exposure, it is recommended to spray this solution early in the morning or in the evening. The fertilizer does not contain hazardous substances for living organisms. If rain is planned, then processing should be postponed until better times.

Dosage of use

The biological growth stimulator retains its properties during the day after its dilution and it is best to use it in a day. The mixed solution in the right proportion can be stored for two days in a dark place (cellar).

To preserve the quality components, 1 gram of lemon per five liters of the dissolved substrate is added to the solution. When dissolving the drug, it should be borne in mind that 1 milliliter of liquid is 40 drops.

The solution can be used at the initial stages of the vegetation process of the plant, the optimal doses of application are - 1 ampoule per 1 liter of water. When using zircon, the following terms should be observed:

  • for root crops and bulbs, soak for a day;
  • cuttings and layering for 12 hours;
  • seed material of vegetable crops - 15 hours.

For pre-sowing treatment (seed soaking), the stimulant is used in the following proportions:

  • Cucumber seeds - five drops per liter of water for 7 hours;
  • Vegetable seeds - 10 drops per 1 liter for 7 hours;
  • For flowers - 35 drops per 1 liter - 7 hours;
  • Potatoes - 20 drops per liter of water, one liter of solution is used per 100 kilograms of tubers;
  • Bulb flowers - 20 drops per liter for 24 hours;
  • Processing cuttings - 1 milliliter per liter of water for 12 hours.

Zircon has an effective effect throughout the growing season of plants, for this they are sprayed in the morning and evening hours in calm weather, before the onset of heat. Can be processed once every 10 days. Zircon is used during stressful situations:

  • transfer;
  • rooting;
  • the presence of pathogenic fungi and pests;
  • lack of moisture and temperature changes.

Doses during the growing season:

  • for cucumbers, it is necessary to dissolve 4 drops of the stimulant in a liter of liquid and spray during the formation of 3 leaves;
  • for tomatoes - 4 drops per 1 liter, treated during planting seedlings in the ground and during flowering;
  • for eggplant and peppers, also 4 drops per liter are applied after sowing and at the time of bud formation;
  • for root crops, the composition is used: 8 drops per 10 liters and applied after germination;
  • for cauliflower and white cabbage 14 drops of the drug per 10 liters, spraying occurs during the setting period;
  • potatoes 14 drops per 10 liters during the formation of buds;
  • for conifers, apple trees and pears - 4 drops per 1 liter, processing occurs at the end of flowering;
  • cherries and cherries - 10 drops per 1 liter are processed at the initial stage of budding and 2 weeks after flowering;
  • berry crops (currants, raspberries) - 15 drops per 10 liters, processed in the bud formation phase.

Before using zircon, it is necessary to inspect the solution, if it exfoliates or precipitates, it must be shaken until a homogeneous solution is formed. The resulting liquid should be stored at a temperature of 20-24 degrees Celsius.

The drug is used in the following agrotechnical activities:

  1. Feeding.
  2. Soaking seed.
  3. Spraying.

Important! Seedlings are best sprayed at the stage of formation of three or four leaves. Zircon has a positive effect on picking and plants quickly adapt to new conditions.

Spraying is carried out to enhance adaptation processes during a cold snap, an increase in soil and air moisture, or during transplantation.

Features of the use of zircon

  1. The biostimulant is quickly absorbed by the plant, so it can be used 1 time in 3 days.
  2. Doses and instructions for use should be strictly observed; with frequent use, the concentration should be reduced.
  3. Zircon fertilizer should be used in the morning or evening in calm weather.
  4. In cases of exceeding doses, dropping of leaves, buds and flowers is observed.
  5. Do not use on violets and plants with pubescent leaves.
  6. In the finished composition, add half a teaspoon of citric acid.
  7. When using different types of stimulants, you need to make intervals between treatments.

The drug goes well with drugs:

  • "Aktelik";
  • "Decis";
  • "Ditan M - 45";
  • "Intavir";
  • "Polyram";
  • "Ridomil Gold MC";
  • "Fitoverm";
  • "Fufnon";
  • "Epin Extra".

Using a houseplant stimulant

The drug has a wide range of uses, for indoor and country crops. Zircon is not a fertilizer and therefore goes well with organic and mineral substances.

It is noted that the addition of the drug to a vase with cut flowers preserves and prolongs the lifespan. Active substances disinfect water, rejuvenate flowers and stimulate vitality.

Zircon has a positive effect on the seed plant material of indoor flowers, for this, 2 drops of the drug are dissolved in 300 grams of water, then the solution is left for 12 hours and soaked, after putting the seeds in a fabric bag.

Important! Vegetable seeds should be soaked in a weak solution of drugs. In general, when using zircon, you must very carefully follow the instructions for use indicated on the package.

For regular watering, prepare the following solution: 1 ampoule of the drug per 10 liters of water or 5 drops per liter. Such proportions are suitable for watering all indoor plants in flowerpots.

Fertilizer "zircon" is considered a completely harmless drug and effectively affects the rooting and inhibition of stress during transplantation.

Compatibility with other fertilizers

This fertilizer can be mixed with all common insecticides, fungicides and other fertilizers.

It is forbidden to combine zircon with preparations, when interacting with which a reaction occurs with the release of alkali. To check compatibility, you need to mix a small amount of zircon with another preparation and add water, if a precipitate appears, then these preparations do not need to be mixed.

Sometimes zircon is used as an adhesive solution, that is, after treating plants with it, the remaining fungicides and insecticides are perfectly fixed on the leaf plates of plants.

Precautionary measures

During the use of the stimulant, reviews say - no undesirable situations were noted, however, like any other fertilizer, it requires some precautions. According to the class of harmfulness, zircon has the fourth class, and does not pose a danger to the life of living organisms.

Still, the basis of zircon is biological materials, therefore, it also does not pose a danger to reservoirs and soil.

For living organisms (humans, animals) during work, it is necessary to avoid trouble and adhere to protective measures and perform work in camouflage (gloves, mask).

Upon completion of work, you should thoroughly wash your hands with soap and it is advisable to take a shower and change clothes.

First aid

Zircon does not cause danger and does not cause diseases, but still, people have different susceptibility and it’s okay for someone, but for someone there are complex consequences. If the fertilizer gets on the skin, then be sure to rinse this place with running warm water.

In cases where the solution gets into the eyes, it is urgent to rinse them with a weak solution of baking soda, and then rinse with water, trying to keep the eyelids open.

After the solution enters the gastrointestinal tract, an urgent need to drink a weak solution of potassium permanganate and artificially induce vomiting. Reviews of experts claim that zircon does not have a negative effect.

Storage Features

Zircon should be stored in a dry place at room temperature (approximately 23 degrees Celsius). Do not store near food or medicine. Biostimulant can be stored for 2 years.

Storage areas must be kept out of the reach of children and pets.

Conclusion

Many lovers of cottages and gardens are wondering: "What is zircon and how to use it?". Zircon is a preparation of plant origin and effectively helps to grow high yields of vegetables and fruits.

Positive qualities of zircon:

  • accelerates the appearance of sprouts;
  • accelerates the appearance of fruits and berries for a week;
  • yield increases by 50 percent of what is actually expected.

Summer residents call zircon a savior, sometimes they give up and many do not know how to help the plant, it is in these cases that this fertilizer works wonders.

The drug that will be discussed is a godsend for a gardener or florist. This fertilizer for plants perfectly regulates their growth, promotes the fastest rooting, germination of seedlings, promotes budding and stimulates flowering, helps crops to endure the negative impact of many natural factors. From this article you will learn about what Zircon is and find detailed instructions for its use.

How Zircon works

Zircon is based on hydroxycinnamic acid obtained from echinacea extract and diluted in alcohol. In fact, it is an antioxidant for plants. By absorbing free radicals, it helps the plant to survive.

So, why is Zircon so good:

  • the action of the biostimulator is determined at the cell level, does not stress the plant and does not suppress its growth;
  • from the inside protects cultures from the influence of heavy metal compounds and radionuclides;
  • contributes to the normalization of metabolic processes in green tissues;
  • more economical for top dressing - works well even at low doses;
  • helps the plant cope with bacterial and fungal diseases, move away faster after the destruction of pests;
  • perfectly restores plants in stressful circumstances - frost, drought, waterlogging - these are negative factors.

Instructions for use of the drug Zircon

To stimulate root formation when planting cuttings or seeds of a plant, use a solution of Zircon diluted in water, in the proportion of 1 ampoule per 1 liter of settled / boiled water. Material prepared for planting is lowered into it:

  • bulbous plants withstand 1 day;
  • layering, cuttings and seeds - 10-12 hours.

It is also recommended to use Zircon for maintenance purposes in a ratio of 1:1000 (1 ml of the drug per 1 liter of boiled water). A well-mixed working solution is sprayed on the leaves and stems of plants. This procedure is recommended to be done before the appearance of buds in ornamental and fruit plants and before the formation of fruits in vegetable crops. On potatoes and cucumbers, processing is carried out in the phase of full shoots, but always before flowering.

Preparation Zircon - instructions

To stimulate the flowering of ornamental plants, Zircon is used in the same proportion. Processing is carried out twice: in the spring before the leaves bloom and at the time of budding to lay even more flowers.

To prevent or combat fungal and bacterial diseases on ornamental flowering plants and shrubs, the biostimulator is mixed with water (1.5 ml per 10 liters of water) and the leaf mass is sprayed with it. Processing is carried out only in dry weather.

seedling application

Soaking seeds prepared for sowing seedlings in a working solution (1 g per 1 liter of water) provides:

  1. Improved germination (especially expired seeds) and reduced time to germinate seedlings.
  2. Acceleration of growth and development of seedlings (on average, the time for the formation of viable seedlings ready for planting in open ground is 5-10 days shorter).
  3. Yield increase by 30-50%.
  4. Stimulation of resistance of seedlings to many diseases (such as black leg), return frosts, insufficient levels of humidity and light.

It is possible to use Zircon for stimulating sprays on grown or split seedlings. This procedure contributes to the restoration of the root system and the laying of many fruit buds.

Use for ornamental crops

Zircon is often used by flower growers in the process of growing ornamental garden or indoor plants. Biostimulant is ideal for flowers because:

  • accelerates the onset of the flowering period;
  • prevents shedding of unblown buds in adverse conditions;
  • accelerates the formation of roots on cuttings and transplanted plants;
  • prevents rapid withering of inflorescences in the cut;
  • stimulates the formation of the necessary protective forces in case of diseases or pest attacks.

The most whimsical home flowers are orchids, which immediately react negatively to poor care, low humidity, abundant or excessive watering, a change in habitat, after treatment with Zircon they look healthy and continue to please the eyes with their exotic flowers.

Often, a biostimulant is used when rooting cuttings of many domestic plants. For soaking cuttings, Zircon is diluted in boiled water in a proportion of approximately 0.5 g per 1 liter. To make it easier and more accurate to measure this amount, you can use a syringe. In the solution of the biostimulant, the cuttings are carried out from 12 to 24 hours before planting. Perhaps the combined use of Zircon and Kornevin.

Safety measures when using Zircon

Zircon belongs to class 4 and is considered a low-hazard substance. It does not harm insects, does not accumulate in the soil and does not poison the water. However, when working with it (for example, spraying), it is still important to observe some safety measures:

  • use protective clothing and a mask;
  • after finishing the treatment, wash your hands and face with soap;
  • sprinkle drops of the spilled drug with dry sand, then collect and discard;
  • if the working solution gets into the eyes, it is necessary to first rinse them thoroughly with water, then drip with soda water (1 tsp of soda for 1 liter of water) and rinse thoroughly again.

If you have a burning sensation in the eyes or other discomfort, you should seek medical help.

A Zircon solution spilled on the ground in large quantities can lead to a change in its biological structure. Therefore, this place is sprinkled with dry sand or soil and thrown into the trash with a lump.

The use of the drug Zircon - video

Zircon is a drug that allows you to regulate root formation, flowering, growth and fruiting. With its help, the orchid (and other indoor and garden flowers) more easily tolerates stress when exposed to biological, chemical and physical nature. When applied, an increase in disease resistance of the culture is noted.

It has a wide spectrum of activity. It is used to solve problems with seedlings of annuals and perennials. It contributes to their better rooting. It is useful for flower growers who grow conifers in their garden. With its help, they achieve their best adaptation, quick rooting and germination from seeds.

Fertilizer is at hand for lovers of indoor flowers, as it increases their resistance to stress and restores immunity after being damaged by pests from the list below.

  1. Powdery mildew.
  2. Rot.
  3. Fusarium, etc.

Advantages and disadvantages

Applying, note:

  • Reducing rooting time.
  • Stimulation of the formation of roots and flowers.
  • Contributing to the easy transfer of drought, cold, lack of light and excess moisture.
  • Product quality improvement.
  • An increase in yield by forty to sixty percent.
  • Reducing the level of accumulation of heavy metals in fruits.
  • Contribute to the rapid ripening of fruits.

(The last four points should be adopted by lovers of fruit and berry crops).

Important! The fertilizer has a significant disadvantage: in case of an overdose, the leaves of the orchid will become gigantic.

How to store?

Zircon is stored in a dark dry place. The packaging with it is removed to the basement or pantry, where the temperature does not rise above + 25⁰С. It is desirable that children and animals do not have access to these premises. Shelf life - 3 years from the date of issue.

Safety rules for use

The bioregulator is a low-hazard substance. Scientists assigned him the fourth class of danger to humans, warm-blooded animals. It is harmless to bees and other beneficial insects. It is devoid of phytotoxicity. It is not able to accumulate in the soil and does not pollute surface water bodies and groundwater.

Although Zircon does not pose a threat to human life, precautions are taken when working with it. Work with the chemical wearing special clothing, a mask / respirator, rubber gloves, headgear and goggles. After processing, the clothes are washed, the mouth is rinsed, the shower is taken and the face and hands are washed with soap. Do not eat, drink or smoke during the procedure. The solution is prepared in a container from which they do not eat and which is not used in cooking.

In case of contact with the skin, wash it off with plenty of tap water. In case of contact with eyes, wash them with a prepared solution of baking soda (1 tsp per 200 grams of water), and then rinse under a tap, keeping them as open as possible. Once in the stomach, the drug harms the most. The flower grower should drink 2-3 glasses of water and induce vomiting. Activated charcoal helps prevent toxicity.

Zircon is a fertilizer that helps when transplanting orchids. Even using a method such as transshipment, fragile underground and aerial roots are sometimes damaged. Although some flower growers dilute one or two drops of a biostimulant in 0.5 liters of boiled water and then use it for spraying, but this is undesirable. There may be stains on the leaves that are difficult to wash off even in the shower. You can do it differently: wipe them with a damp cloth, wait until it dries completely, and then spray.

What dosage to choose?

The dosage depends on what the grower wants to achieve with the treatment. Diluting eight drops in a liter of water, support the orchid during active growth. Diluting four drops in the same amount of liquid, they help her during the formation of buds.

Important! Although the working solution of Zircon can be stored for 3 days, they try to use it on the first day. Putting away for storage in a dark place, add citric acid to it - 0.2 grams. Without an additive, it will be absolutely useless the very next day.

How to breed?

Fertilizer is diluted clearly according to the instructions with boiled water at room temperature.

  • Cuttings of orchids / restoration of immunity / prevention. To do this, prepare a solution in which the cuttings are kept for 12 hours. The flower grower dilutes 0.25 ml of the drug in a liter of water (1/4 of the content of one ampoule or ten drops, which are measured with a pipette).
  • Seedling picking during seed cultivation in order to increase resilience. It is carried out after the appearance of 2-3 pairs of leaves. To do this, prepare a solution by diluting one ampoule in 10 liters of water. If such a volume is useless, then reduce it in proportion to the required amount.
  • Foliar processing of an adult orchid during the growing season improves decorative properties, stimulates the laying of buds, the growth of peduncles and roots. The solution is diluted in the same way as when picking, and it is watered with it every 15-20 days.
  • Processing an orchid after an illness and pest attack. One and a half ampoules of the product are diluted in ten liters of water. It is carried out every 10 days until complete recovery.

Biostimulator is suitable for root and above-ground processing. It is absorbed by all parts of the flower in the shortest possible time. It spreads quickly over them and acts instantly. It is produced in ampoules of 1 ml. They contain a concentrated substance that is diluted correctly, observing all precautions and not allowing overdose.

  1. Thoroughly water the orchid before processing with Zircon.
  2. The most efficient irrigation is submersible, i.e. a flower pot is placed in a basin of hot water.
  3. After watering, the solution is diluted at its discretion and, starting from what they want to achieve.
  4. Water the plant with the solution.
  5. Waiting for the water to drain.
  6. Return the pot to its place on the windowsill.

Attention! Zircon is used with special pest control products. It is not necessary to wait for their complete destruction in order to restore the immunity of the orchid.

How many minutes to keep in solution?

When cutting orchids, dilute 10-20 drops of the drug in a liter of water, and keep the cuttings in the resulting solution for 18-24 hours. He, but in a different concentration (30-40 drops / 1 liter), is useful to those who propagate it by seeds. They are kept in it for 6-8 hours.

How often to repeat the procedure?

The frequency of the procedure depends on the purpose of using Zircon.

  • For prevention- one watering every one to one and a half months is enough.
  • After stress (recent transplant, disease, pest infestation) spray the orchid once a week until a visible result appears.

Misuse and dealing with the consequences

With an overdose, the leaves of orchids grow to gigantic sizes. It is impossible to correct this unpleasant consequence.

Zircon is a lifesaver for novice flower growers who, out of ignorance and indiscretion, approached the care of an orchid irresponsibly.

With its help, correct the consequences of improper care. That's why it is strictly forbidden to water a healthy plant with a solution every week just. If you do this, then only for preventive purposes - once a month and a half to strengthen immunity.

Alternative

Another biostimulant for orchids is Augustine. It has a similar effect to Zircon. It is considered a natural growth regulator, immunostimulant and anti-stress drug. Flower growers use it to improve survival after transplantation, to enhance root formation and promote flowering.

Conclusion

Zircon is a fertilizer used by experienced flower growers who love orchids. With its help, they regulate flowering, root formation and growth. It is also an indispensable tool for restoring immunity after an illness or pest damage.
